Illustrator image copy/paste onto the Indesign the text should automatically converted into image?

Hi All,
Is there options to get the image copy & paste into the Indesign, if i done manually the frames and lines stroke, colors, are coming fine, but the text object only converted the image. i want to edit text in indesign.
this is possible for scripting or manual?

You can copy/paste from Illy to ID by selecting the text with the type tool in Illy and then pasting it into ID. You will not be able to maintain the formatting. If you want to maintain the appearance the text will be converted to outlines.
If you need to get anything other than very simple objects from Illy to ID then you should save as AI and use the file > place command to place those objects as linked graphics into ID.
Your closing statement is irrelevant. Whether you like it or not, this is the way it is.

How to hide cut/copy/paste/Replace… menu on the UIWebView when it is being displayed over the keyboard.
Detail: I am having a HTML from, having text box, displayed using UIWebView. If user types in text box it shows the keyboard. Now If user tap and hold on text box it shows a popup menu. Now while keyboard and pop up are being displayed user scrolls the view. At this time it shows pop up over the keyboard which I need to hide.
I tried setMenuVisible of UIMenuController when popup rect and keyboard rect intersects each other on viewDidScroll but it didn't help me.
Any clues will help a lot.

Audition crashes when I copy paste a file in the multitrack. it says "audition has encountered a fatal error and needs to shut down"

yeah, sorry. Mac OSX 10.8.3
2.7 ghz intel core i5
8 gb RAM
Audition cs6
All the files I'm working with are mono wav files. As I kept trying to do other things I realized the program is crashing also when I try to export the mix.
Since this started happening last week I've tried reinstalling the software twice but that hasn't worked. Any help would be great. I don't want to have to spend 200 bucks for logic right now, but I am kind of in a rush to get this project done. I can also copy the crash report over here if neccesary.

I am using coreldraw for graphics design but it is related to print (Hardcopies) and corel is not smart soft compared to adobe software.
So, for web design, I started to learn Fireworks. After some practice, i m able to design web graphics in fireworks.
But the main problem is that, when that page is exported into html format. All text were converted into Image and it is not useful.

Fireworks was devdeloped to use with Dreamweaver. It's not a stand alone app for developing web pages. Adobe Muse might be more the kind of app you are looking for. First, however, Give this tutorial a try.

Is there a way to copy & paste a clip from the timeline in one project in to another project?

I am using Premiere 6 on a Windows 7 machine.
Is there a way to copy and paste a clip from the timeline in one project in to another project?... I can copy my clip, but when I open the other project, it will not allow me to paste it in there... but I am able to copy and paste a clip within a single project. I tried everything... pasting in to a new video track and pasting in to an existing video track in the second project, but the paste option simply isn't there when I open the second project.
And if Premiere itself will not allow me to do this in any way, will a copy-paste clipboard type of accessory app allow me to do this?... if so, which is the best, trustworthy copy-paste app that is malware free?

I just read the page that you provided about "Handles"... thanks allot for that ARTICLE. In your article and the subsequent article HANDLES, "Transitions Overview: applying transitions" linked from your article, it indicates (in PrE and PrPro anyway - I'm in Premiere 6) that transitions can be applied to non-Video 1 tracks... the paragraph below is a quote from that "Transitions Overview: applying transitions" article...
"Whatever is below the transition in a Timeline panel appears in the transparent portion of the transition (the portion of the effect that would display frames from the adjacent clip in a two-sided transition). If the clip is on Video 1 or has no clips beneath it, the transparent portions display black. If the clip is on a track above another clip, the lower clip is shown through the transition, making it look like a double-sided transition."
So this indicates that transitions can be applied to non-Video 1 tracks since it is referring to content in tracks beneath a transparent fade that would show through... and only non-Video 1 tracks can be transparent and have other clips "beneath" them in the timeline, right?
In the screenshot sample in your article at this LINK, I see the handles (referred to as B and E) and I can see in my monitor window how those handles would be represented by the two little bracket symbols { } ... you can see how they appear in my monitor window in Premiere 6 in this screenshot, and below, from a different thread that isn't related to this topic.
But I'm still trying to figure out how the handles can be applied in the non-Video 1 tracks in the timeline to insert a transition (cross-dissolve) between two clips.
Can you advise me on this?... I posted a separate thread HERE on this topic, but I haven't got any further with finding an answer.

Copy paste from pdf without the formatting

I've never understood how to copy and paste from pdf to word without getting the line return characters which mess up the formatting. Why doesn't text flow from line to line as it does in a normal word processor? Why does adobe insist on copying the newline character when you paste from pdf to another application?
This must be the dumbest feature in the world.
If there's a way to copy and paste from a pdf in plain text, without line breaks, please please tell me how. Thanks

I don't know a way to do it right out of Adobe, but you can use this tool to do what you're asking: http://www.textfixer.com/tools/remove-line-breaks.php. I routinely have to copy and paste pdf material for the web for a non-profit I work for, and I use that tool every time because it works so well. Plus it's free. If you find out how to do it without using a third-party tool let me know!

When I try to copy & paste FROM Firefox to a text document, note pad or another window, 80+% of the time it fails. A Firefox or Windows issue?

Only recently did this issue start.

I have a similar problem; but I think the cause of the "already running" message is that my computer crashed.
I rebooted before I learned to look for the parent lock file, but even when I knew to look for it, I found my original profile folder to be empty.
So I created another profile folder, and FF works, but I cannot access my old profile folder. When I open the location where it should be, nothing's there. But if I go to profile manager, I see my original profile is still there (and it has a location, it's where it should be - and where it's invisible, but even if I type in this location, nothing comes up).
I tried making all folders visible (I run Windows 7), but this did not make my old profile visible.
I want to find it because of the bookmarks I bookmarked recently.

In Completed InDesign document - Text reflows automatically

We are one problem in InDesign file. We have completed composing a document in InDesign file. After re-open the same file to do some text correction, but while re-opening the line ending gets changed automatically in some paragraphs. Because of this, it takes more times to compare all pages in each round of corrections (both customer and internal correction). For your information please see below screenshot.

I suspect this a document you converted from an earlier version of InDesign. Each version uses a new text engine, and it's not unusual for line endings to change. The annoying part is that they don't change on conversion unless you touch the text frame for editing, and you don't always realize you've done it because the change may be on another page.
I prefer to export IDML from the previous version of InDesign and open that for conversion. All text will be recomposed on opening when you do that.

Cant copyépaste a file in the right folder

I am new in MAC but am confused. When I copy a file from a HD to another specifying a folder and sub-folder in that folder, in reality the file is not stored in that sub-folder. It goes right to the root directly of the HD. What have I done wrong to make this happen?
When using Explorer in Windows, I never had this problem. May be there is some precaution to take when doing it in MAC ??
Can someone advise?

I must say that I work in very restricted client: I'm not administrator but simple user on my desktop (Win XP SP3) and there are a lots of settings and services that I don't know and I can not change or stop.
I work on different environment: Development, QA, Production of a ERP also there are four release for year and "2 year support", that means 24 "similar worlds". For every "worlds": db schema, password, library, form folders and everything you could imagine are different.
For this reason when I open a form I need to change a lots of things so the system administrator made a batch file to start Form Builder with right environment settings but the form folder was not right when open file from Form Builder

Cut/Copy/Paste - How to set the key bindings ?

Hi,
I'm currently using the motif LnF in Windows. It matches the colors and style I want.
The problem is: people using Windows want to use the standard windows key bindings (that is: CTRL+V, CTRL+C, CTRL+X) instead of the Motif ones.
Does anyone how to set the old Windows key bindings into the Motif LnF ?
If anyone can provide some light, it'd be great !

The Swing tutorial on "General Rules for Using Text Components" has a demo program that shows you how to assign KeyStrokes to Actions.
Unfortunately the demo has not been updated in a while and still uses a keymap. The new approach would be to use an 'inputMap' and an 'actionMap'. The code for the copy action would be something like this:
textComponent.getInputMap().put(keyStroke, "copy");
textComponent.getActionMap().put("copy", action);
Again, the demo program 'TextComponentDemo' from the above tutorial will show you how to:
1) create the keyStroke for Ctrl+C
2) retrieve the default copy action from the editor kit

Illustrator wont copy & paste at 300 ppi regardless of settings

I just recently reformated my computer and I've been having an issue with copy and paste from Illustrator to Photoshop. Before I could copy a 2"x2" vector box from Illustrator into photoshop making a new document and the size and resolution would match. That is the new document would say 2"x2" at 300 ppi in photoshop and the preset would read "clipboard". I would then hit ok and paste and it would match perfectly. Now since I've reformated, photoshop always creates a new document with the wrong size regardless of the settings I enter in Illustrator or photoshop. I have document raster and effects set at 300 ppi in Illustrator and I have the new document set at 300 in photoshop, but it always transfers the 2"x2" box at 72 dpi regardless of settings. Again this used to work before so I'm assuming there is some setting I forgot about. Does anyone know? The main issue is the clipboard preset is not matching the document size, its almost as if Illustartor is telling photoshop it's a different resolution when it's not. Copying to 72 ppi seems to have no issue, which makes me think Illustrator just isn't sending it out at 300 ppi, but I don't know why as I have the document set at 300 ppi. I confirmed this as I can make a 2"x2" box in photoshop and paste into Illustrator and it reads as 2"x2" at 300 ppi in Illustrator, but if I copy from Illustrator back to photoshop it pastes it at 72 ppi. Changing the settings to 300 ppi in Illustrator seems to have no effect. Might be a bug. Should I try reinstalling?

Copy Paste logo in Indesign

I am designing a business card in Indesign and want to copy my logo from AI. The versions I am using is CS3, The logo is in vector format saved under AI. When I copy it, it doesn't copy right. I am a first time user, so all basic instructions are appreciated. How do I copy my logo from AI into a smaller area in Indesign?

John, You don't have to create the box first. Just do the file - place action and click the load curser wherever desired.

How to "Copy & Paste" onto a drop down menu?

How do you make a drop down menu with a giant list of countries without having to plug in every country one by one?
I'm trying to recreate a drop down menu my boss has on his website onto Adobe Formscentral. The problem is I don't want to make a drop down menu and have to type out every country he has on the website drop down "It's seriously has every country in the world" If there is script I have to type somwhere so be it, rather mess around with that than waste company time typing countries down.

We do not have any way to import data into a dropdown list and do not have any Templates with a complete Country list, but you can add or vote on either/both in the feature ideas:
