Illustrator / photoshop / Creative Cloud app - all not launching

Waited 2 hours on chat and was told "specialist team" only work weekdays - even though it says 24hrs support??
Apps simply don't open, they launch, then that's it - they don't respond.
Using a mac - first issue after about 2 months of everything runnning smoothly.
AE launches and runs fine.

Hi Anthony,
Since removing the opm.db file and signing out/ in did not work. I would suggest that you use the Adobe Clean tool to remove the software and reinstall.
Make sure your computer can still access the adobe servers. Check the hosts file.

  • My Creative Cloud App won't launch

My Creative Cloud App won't launch I'm seeing other posts of the same problem that are unanswered. Is there an issue with cloud today?

I'm having a similar problem. CC is greyed out and has no content when selected, meaning I have no access to my type kit font library. I've uninstalled CC and reinstalled CC. I've followed another course of action which is to trash the opm.db file (username > Library > Application Support > Adobe > OOBE > opm.db) which was advised from another forum, followed by a reinstall again. No joy... any help would be much appreciated

  • Adobe Creative Cloud App does not show downloaded apps and shows "download error"

I am not a full paying member just yet, and have been using Photoshop on trial for my graphic design courses. With the app, instead of showing me that my 30 day trial is over, I get a download error and contact customer support message. I have completely deleted and redownloaded the Creative Cloud App twice already, but am not sure how to fix this problem so I am still unable to download my free trials before purchase.
How can I fix this problem?

  • Creative cloud app is not recognizing installed applications

Creative cloud app first lost Lightroom and has not Lost Photoshop from the installed apps list.
I have taken the steps of logging out of CC then quitting the app and renaming opm.db to old.
New file was created, logged in, but the same problem persists

I have deactivated both firewall and antivirus, but still yhe same result

  • Creative Cloud apps all stuck at 42% when installing.

I'm not joking when I say it's been nearly 28hrs and I'm still trying to find out how this program pipeline can be so messed up.
Look at it. That cold unfeeling 42% just sitting there, looking at me...mocking me. This happens with every CC app.
I have tried the direct downloads also, but what happens is interesting:
    Start installation
"Preparing for Installation" displays for 3 seconds, and then immediately says Installation complete. No progress bar update or anything. Clicking launch does nothing. I go to the installation location, and nothing is found. No folder for the specific app (even photoshop) or anything.
I have tried different administrator accounts, policies, permissions. I went on 5 different crusades now, deleting everything under the Adobe name from temp, program files, even the registry. I have soared across different forums looking for an answer, trying each and every method that comes onto my screen. No avail. I have been through 7 (not joking) tech support guys and gals, not one could help me no matter how hard they tried. I have booted under selective startup with NO programs other than Microsoft's services. Still nothing.
This is without a doubt the most frustrating thing, next to debugging, I have came across.

After the extracting phase, it lands on 42% and hangs. I then killed the adobe help process. It still hung at 42% and eventually gave me the error:
I have uninstalled and reinstalled for a total of 10 times now.
I have 0 security programs with nothing affecting system files.

  • The Creative Cloud app is not properly loading...How can i fix this?

More specifically, on the drop down menu, where apps should be listed for download is not loading, just a loading wheel that perpetually spins..Not sure if this is a server error or what

I've had the same problem yesterday. I tried this and it helped me out :
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6

  • Adobe 2014.1 Not Showing in Adobe Creative Cloud App

    Hi Folks,
I previously opened a similar discussion. Re: 2014.1 App Updates Not Showing Up in Creative Cloud. The solution in the aforementioned discussion does not work in this new context.
    1. Reimage laptop with clean Mavericks 10.9 install, with Adobe CC preinstalled using CCP 1.4 and pre serialized.
    2. Enter my Adobe ID into Adobe Creative Cloud App. My Adobe ID has a valid CC subscription.
    3. Adobe 2014.1 app updates do not show up, except for Muse 2014.
    4. The Adobe Creative Cloud App did not think that Photoshop or any of the other Adobe CC Apps were installed, because I was given the option to "Install Photoshop"
    5. So, I "installed" Photoshop from the Adobe CC app. Still no updates
    6. Uninstall, reinstall. No updates.
    7. Checked for the existence of AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat in
    Location: <Startup Disk>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdaterInventory/1.0/AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat
This file does not exist on my system: it's just not there. So that fix will not work.
    8. And yes, I logged in and out of Creative Cloud, and Quit the Adobe CC app and restarted. No luck.
    Help.
    A.

I am not sure about the CC Packager so the following is more general:
What version of PS do you actually have installed?
PS CC 2014.2.1 is the current version.
Here are links to various updates to see what the current versions are:
