For iOS 7, additional app icon sizes are required: 152x152 (iPad HD), 76x76 (iPad SD), and 120x120 (iPhone). These new icon files are required when you build either a v27 or v28 app in DPS App Builder.

DPS App Builder v26 navigation toolbar

How do I hide bottom navigation toolbar while uploading custom library zip in DPS App Builder v26?

I've looked into this, and it appears that in prior releases of App Builder this worked even though it wasn't supposed to. If you want to specify a custom library in v26 you'll need to turn on the bottom navigation toolbar.
In our next release we will look to see if we can clarify the UI to make it possible to specify a custom library without the navigation toolbar visible.

Bob, are you getting reports of the new DPS App Builder not working? We were in the middle of a project when we were made to update it. After the update, DPS doesn't appear in the Application Manager, and fails to launch from the Folio Builder panel.
"An error has occurred while launching the DPS App Builder application.
Failed to find DPS App Builder application".

Help with trying to locate Illustrator templates for CS version 1

I'm trying to locate a copy of the templates that were issued as part of Illustrator CS version 1. Specifically, I'm looking for a file by the name of "flyer3.ait". I would, ideally, like to access all of the templates for CS, version 1, because I am reading the Adobe Illustrator CS, Idea Kit book by Jerome Holder & Barbara Mulligan. and they use these templates as starter files for their book. Thank you in advance.

I really doubt that you are going to find them unless someone has a version of CS1 installed somewhere on an old machine. In the newer versions the template files are in a folder called Cool Extras which may or may not have been installed. Installation of this folder was an option in the newer versions. In AICS3, there is a template called flyer.ait in the above folder.

Optional Policy Link - DPS app builder v26

Hi,
In the last update the DPS app builder received a new field.
I had a app reject by Apple with this message
maybe I believe that is because this new url field. Anyone more have had this issue already

Do you mean for the privacy policy link? What URL did you use? Apple will reject applications if they can find an URL that will take the user to a site that can be used to purchase items. You need to make sure you provide an URL that doesn't have a way to navigate to other areas of your website that allow purchasing.

App Builder v26 update

With this update we are no longer able to specify custom library code and hide the Navigation Bar at the same time, which we were able to do in the last release. Is this intentional? Can it be reverted?
This is the process to be clear:
Make a Multi Folio app
Check Show navigation toolbar
Assign .zip file to custom App library
Uncheck Show navigation toolbar
Complete app process
Launch app
App shows default app library viewer

This is a known issue with App Builder in v26 that we'll be addressing in v27.

Turning off NTLM for App Builder

I am seeing that sometimes pages take a long time to load or even timeout (404 or some other errors) when I am working in the App Builder environment.
This used to be fine before, so I started to take a look at my Apache logs and saw some NTLM/SMB related timeouts when Apache was fetching information from my domain server.
Strictly speaking, I don't need NTLM authentication when I am using the Application Builder, only my apps need it (my page sentry uses it), so I thought it might be prudent to reduce this "unnecessary load" on my domain server/network.

Library templates for motion, DVD studio pro, Live type etc

I wanted to ask how I copy (from one computer to another) over the libraries of templates for the suite of programs in Final Cut Studio 2. I no longer have the discs and wanted to ask where in the library and what files I need to carry over to be able to see the templates etc again for these FCP Studio programs.

Do you intend to try and use the Migration Assistant to copy the applications?
If so, it won't work. Final Cut Studio places many files at system level that are vital to its operation. Quite a few are in directories that are normally invisible to the user. These files do not copy across correctly or at all.
While the media is mostly in the Library/Application Support and Users/Shared directories, many of those invisible system files do not have names that obviously associate themselves with FCS.

(the architecture ist out of time and wont be supported in the future by SAP).
ITSmobile is the future for live/synchron RF transactions for mobile devices.
Here the skills are not so high - just HTML is necessary.
Here you can change the styles very simple over the integration of CSS.

After Install. Templates in App Builder not correct.

After upgrading from 1.5 to 1.6 Images were not showing after logging into INTERNAL/ADMIN.
I fixed that by copying the images directorio into CCD_HOME/marvel/images and setting the /i/ in marvel.conf.
Now images are OK but the page is still not using the correct template since fonts are too big, buttons are not showing correctly, and page is not formatted correctly.
I am comparing to another installation which I did the same installation about a month ago.
Can anyone help with anything I can try.

Apparently flows.css is not being found.
I tried removing this file on the working system and I got exactly the same problem.
The file is present in ...marvel/images/css/flows.css so it looks like it is not being found.
The images are found but the css is not.
My marvel.conf references /i/ correctly. Does the css use this reference or one configured elsewhere?
Can anyone help?

Its purely a network connectivity error / missing proxy settings.
Please set a proxy to NPM and try again.

NOT FOUND WCE2013 (update 5 or 11) Platform builder and Embedded App Builder in VS2013 update 4

I installed WCE2013 update 5 on VS2013 update 4 in Windows 7 Ultimate x64 successfully.
However, Open VS2013, I cannot found BSP builder and App builder.
I guess .net updates in Windows update causes the PROBLEM.
I trialed some test case:
- Install WCE2013 update5 on Win8.1 x64, VS2013 update2 : only see BSP builder in new project templates, BUT App builder missing. After upgrading VS2013 to update 4, BSP builder disappears in new project templates.
- Install WCE2013 update5 on Win7 x64: not thing changes in VS2013 update4. Downgrade VS2013 to update2 gets similar failure.
Please HELP!

I didn't answered my question, but I got it to work without having to re-install.
Delete all these files and folders from the eclipse/plugins and eclipse/features folder of your Flash Builder installation folder
com.adobe.cslib
com.adobe.inverurie
com.adobe.xmp
Open the CS Extension Builder plugin package
Copy all .jar files from the plugin directory and paste them into the eclipse/plugins folder of the Flash Builder installation
Copy all .jar files from the features directory and paste them into the eclipse/features folder of the Flash Builder installation
Extract every jar (ex: com.adobe.cside.feature_2.0.0.4-33034.jar file is extracted into a com.adobe.cside.feature_2.0.0.4-33034 folder)
Delete the .jar files
Restart Flash Builder
Everything works fine so far. There is a small glitch where the "CS Extension Builder Start Page" seems to miss its stylesheet, but the panel is working anyway. At this point, it's fine by me. And I'm still not able to uninstall the plugin with the "Installed Software" window (the button is grayed out).
So much for being lazy. And for wanting to repair my mistakes, of course.

I downloaded iDraw - which is an Adobe Illustrator wannabe for the iPad. You can export to PDF and other formats using iDraw. iDraw also supports file sharing. File Sharing is the iPad/iTunes way to send files back and forth from the iPad to your computer and back again.

There are third party apps in the app store that will allow you to use virtually any printer even if you don't have one of the HP AirPrint compatible printers.
You can even use an app like Pages to create your templates. You can insert art and photos into Pages and it supports file sharing as well. Pages is a Word Processing app and I would be inclined to not use it for your purposes but it will work for some basic designs however it's certainly not ideal for creating artwork.

Custom module templates for Web Apps

Just wanting to see if there's anyone out there who knows if the custom module templates from the September release are available for Web Apps? I can't seem to get them to work.
When placing {module_webapps,8168,a template=”/custom/wap-contract.tpl”} I get a "No Items Found" response. I would appreciate help as this would be very useful in building Web Apps and I can't find documentation on it

They do work with Web Apps, I've been able to use it successfully. Here is the only documentation I can find on it so far:

Curious though, when you get "No items found" that means there are no web app items to show. So we don't really know if your custom template worked or not. If you can get some items to show up and they use the default layout, then we know something is wrong.
