Illustrator: Unknown Error 107 beim Pinsel erstellen.

Hey,
ich möchte einen neuen Pinsel erstellen, dieser enthält eine kleine Farbfläche in dieser Farbfläche ist ein Knopf mit einem Farbverlauf, das möchte ich in den Pinsel implementieren, wenn ich alles zusammenfüge kommt jetzt doch der unknown Error 107.
Das Problem besteht jedoch nur bei dem Pinsel mit dem Knopf inklusive Farbverlauf.

Das Problem wird der Verlauf sein.
Einen Verlauf wird man vorher in Objekte (nicht in Verlaufsgitter) umwandeln müssen, dann sollte es funktionieren.

On cs3, I amtryoing tocreate a pattern brush with a symbol, or an after expanding the symbol.
I can make the swatche.
But when after creating an empty brush I try to refer to the swatche I ha a promt:

I resetted the pref file AIPrefs.old.
I copied to a new document. And moved the artwork to the brush folder index.
Prompt.
"The selected artwork contain an element that can not be used in a pattern brush."
This was why I tried to use a new blank brush.

I cannot save my work in Illustrator CC2014.1 due to an 'unknown error'. Any ideas on a solution?

I have produced some work in illustrator and wanting to save before I proceed but Illustrator will not allow me due to an unknown error. I have tried some ideas posted on the web (turning off the visibility of layers, saving as an EPS) but to no avail. I have tried resetting my preferences and turning off sync settings but again no luck. Is anyone else experiencing this and anyone have any ideas on a solution?

Thanks for the idea.
Tried that, (tried all the Save As options) and the same 'unknown error' occurs. I have tried saving as an Illustrator EPS and a different alert comes up as 'Cannot Save. A necessary item is missing: ID: 192'. No idea what the necessary item is? Mithril? Gold?

I have just upgraded to a new iMac late 2013. After running a migration from my old mac to the new. I now have the following error: "Unknown error has occurred" when trying to save an illustrator CS5 doc.
How do you fix 'An Unknown error has occurred" when trying to save?

Thanks for your response. I have reinstalled and used the adobe clean software to remove all adobe software first. still not working. Can you explain in more detail "fix the permissions on your User: Library folders"? I have verified disc perms in Disc Utility.

Unknown error - (PARM), .pdf settings and Illustrator problems

I am using Illustrator CS3, and recently I no longer had choices for .pdf settings when saving from Illustrator as a .pdf. The only setting is "Custom" and I can't scroll to another choice. As I understand it, if I load .pdf settings in Illustrator they are available in all Adobe applications (very possibly wrong about that), but when I choose Edit: Adobe PDF Presets, I get an error message: "The operation cannot complete because of an unknown error. (PARM)". Also when I try to save an .eps file as an AI document, I get the message "An unknown error has occurred."
I have thrown away my preferences to no avail, and am afraid I am going to have to reload Illustrator CS3, which I downloaded last year and do not have the disks for, I which I am having a very hard time trying to download again. (This part I guess I have to call about).
I usually work in Quark, but recently worked in some files in InDesign, and that's when this started, I think. Perhaps a coincidence. Many thanks in advance for any help.

in the right direction for getting replacement disks for my legally
purchased software Or getting download help so that I might re-download?
We are rather unofficial natives here. You should contact Adobe Customer Support about downloading.
You should be able to get rid of the error if you Move the folder, but it is still worth having the backup, even if you upgrade.

Illustrator CS6 - An unknown error has occured

When saving a file in illustrator CS6 the error comes up as "An unknown error has occured".
I can not save my files at all, export them as any other filetype or print them to PDF.
I have figured out it is any element with transparancy causing the issue... if I delete or flatten the items, I can save..
Any Ideas hoe to rectify this as it is stuffing everything up for me...

Google it and find some temp fix. run the illustrator by using "Run as admin" mode and fix the problem, but when use run as, can't see all the original user's mapping drives.
So still need it fixed.

It is win 7 64 bit system and same error on Illustrator x86 and x64.

Illustrator won't open "An unknown error has occurred (-108)"

I installed Yosemite a couple of weeks ago and it took several days to finally get things working again. All was well for a while, but now Safari tries to reload pages continually, Mail crashes when I check new mails (it just disappears without warning), Illustrator gives me "unknown error (-108)", InDesign just disappears when I try to start it, Word won't open at all, preview doesn't work in the finder. This is a major inconvenience and makes my Mac pretty much useless.

There could be a issue with the Operating system or the user account.
Try creating new Admin user account on the Mac. If the problem happens on new user as well, may be you can contact Apple support and get some advise.

Illustrator CS5 'unknown error'

I am running a legit copy of Adobe Master Suite CS5 and I'm running into some very strange issues in Illustrator. If I'm working on a file (something simple usually - maybe a couple simple polygons), everything can be working fine. Suddenly, if I try to drag an object I can't do anything. It's like the object is attached to an elastic and it goes back to it's original position no matter where I try to place it. I also can't use keyboard shortcuts to copy/paste/duplicate, etc., but regular buttons and menus will work. When this is happening, if I try to save I get an 'unknown error' message, and even if the file is previously versioned in CS5, illustrator will try to create a CS4 copy and still give me the 'unknown error' message. It's all very strange.
If I leave the computer long enough the error sometimes fixes itself and the file becomes usable. Otherwise I lose all my work.
Any suggestions of what can be causing this? I've recently installed this on a new Windows 7 computer (no previous windows or adobe versions have been running on this system). I was also running CS5 on my older system which previously had CS4 and Windows XP, and the error has occured on both systems.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Either a permissions problem or, which is more likely, a driver problem with you screen vs. your input device (mouse, tablet) where your mosue is operating on invalid screren coordinates and certain operations would appear as if happening outside the program window. Could also be some external tool, of course, like some security program doing file scans and in the process locking your work files or temp files and consuming all harddrive bandwidth...

Meissam, you are welcome.
Some of the issues are caused by corrupted files.
The usual suspect is the aiprefs file, which held almost all preferences up to 10; since CS(1), some preferences have been moved to other files in the same folder, so in many cases the advice is to move the folder to the Desktop (deleting does not always work).
In other cases, corrupted fonts are the issue. It has been noted in some cases that the -108 has occurred during loading of font, but moving fonts out of the Fonts folder has not helped.
Is the name TypeSupport, in one word?
I believe the files will be rebuilt with the default values as is the case with the aiprefs and other key files. I believe you will find that it has a new content after your starting Illy.
And it should not affect other applications. It may be used for more Adobe applications without causing trouble, but Illy is known to be more particular than most when it comes to fonts; probably because fonts are both text and curves/art, which is why we call it Type.

Illustrator cs5 can't saved the file or unknown error when save

I have couple of brand new Mac OS X 10.6.4 with Adobe Ilustrator CS5 running on Intel Xeon Quad Core and 3GB of RAM.
All updates including OS have been applied recently. For some reasons, the file that was worked on any of this computer can't be saved to any other format other than illustrator template itself. When saved, it either just crashed or gave an error "an unknown error has occured".
So, I save the file as template and tested on the PC configure that has 8GB of RAM, Intel Quad Core and still couldn't save the file into .ai format. Same error was given.
I tested the illustrator on mac with few simple lines or vector graphics and it could save fine.
I thought it was the file itself but it appeared to be not. Due to, same design method was produced on the old mac os system with cs2 worked fine.
Does anyone know what is wrong? I called the Adobe techs and they transfered me to someone in India who didn't know what causing it either.

Also, I tried to reset the prefs and settings, uninstall with cleaner tool and reinstall, reload the transparent setting, etc.. including some steps the adobe techs told me.
It still gave same error.

Unknown error when copying any object from Illustrator to Photoshop

When trying to copy an object from Illustrator CS5 and paste it to Photoshop CS5 on Windows 7 I get the the following error when I switch from Illustrator to Photoshop:
The operation cannot complete because of an unknown error. [pdf!]
This only happens between Illustrator and Photoshop - copying an object to InDesign works fine.
I deleted the full Adobe preferences folder on D:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe but that doesn't help.
Am I the only one with this issue?

Have you rebooted your machine recently?
I'm on a Mac, so maybe something happens on Windows that I'm not aware of.
Let's see if anyone on a Windows system has any ideas.

Illustrator (CS6) - unable to save, unknown error

We've been experiencing an issue with saving illustrator files (as .ai). The error message is "unknown error occurred" when attempting to save. Things tried already:
delete preferences file
uninstall/re-install CS6
standardize all fonts to arial
save in another location (desktop, network)
save as .eps
But still same.
This happens when copying components of one ai file to another and trying to save it. Found that removing one tiny piece from a drawing allows the save...so fine we can work around, but it would be really helpful to know WHY this is happening, because it seems likely to happen again. There is no text in that piece, just lines and shading.
Any advice is appreciated.

Well, that would require for you to provide the file so people can dabble with it or at least extensively document your settings with screenshots on top of screenshots. In any case, ask such specific questions in the AI forum and also provide system info along with the details I described in whatever form.
