It it legal to do video tutorials for Adobe Illustrator ?

I have purchased Adobe Illustrator CC with the creative cloud , and then I have created a course about how to create infographics using Adobe Illustrator CC , the course includes video tutorials and is now being sold on UDEMY.com . I was just wondering is that legal ? Are there any limitations or things i should know to avoid trouble with adobe ? I did NOT claim in my course that i am certified by adobe .

Even if you follow all the rules someone can always try to sue you, and litigation is expensive, win or lose. To protect yourself and minimize the chance of litigation you should have a legal disclaimer at the beginning or end of your tutorial. At the beginning if you are really concerned about this, at the end to atleast cover yourself and win in court.

Wish there were fewer hobbyist basic tutorials. Searching for photoshop realistic drop shadow illustration, you find many on how to adjust the drop shadow filter settings in Photoshop, and only a few with informational experience.

Tutorials, Videos and Demos on Spaces Functionality

Has anyone found any good Tutorials, Videos and Demos on Spaces Functionality? Like Using the Wiki and Blogs and the other uses of spaces?
I loved to fine a "WOW look what spaces can do" Video.

I have looked through the video tutorials for CS6 and cant find any help for PHP using SQL.

In answer to your question, you need to be aware that the PHP server behaviors in Dreamweaver CS6 use the original MySQL functions that are scheduled to be removed from a future version of PHP. The server behaviors have already been removed from Dreamweaver CC. If you are planning to create a site using PHP and MySQL, do not rely on Dreamweaver's server behaviors. You must use either MySQLi (MySQL Improved) or PDO (PHP Data Objects) instead.
If you're looking for video tutorials, you might be interested in the courses I have created for lynda.com. As a beginner, a good place to start would be PHP for Web Designers or Introducing PHP (there are several sample videos that you can watch for free on my website). Both courses were recorded on Dreamweaver (PHP for Web Designers on Dreamweaver CS6, Introducing PHP on Dreamweaver CS5.5). PHP for Web Designers shows how to connect to MySQL with MySQLi. You need a subscription to lynda.com to watch the complete courses, but you can get a seven-day free trial by following the links on my website.
If you don't want to commit to a subscription service, I have also written a book called PHP Solutions, which covers MySQLi and PDO in depth. It also shows how to build a login system. At the moment, the second edition is available, but a revised third edition is due to go on sale in December.
There are also a lot of free resources on the web that you can find. The important thing to beware of is that a lot of old material relies on the original MySQL functions. Whichever resource you use, make sure it shows how to use MySQLi or PDO.

I have been regularly receiving video tutorials from Addicted 2 Salsa and synching these to my iPod but recently I have been unable to do so. I overcame this problem in the past by making an ipod version or loading them on to iMovie and then sharing them but this method no longer works. THere is no problem viewing them on my computer and everything else synchs okay to the iPod so what is going on and how can I overcome this problem?

Double check to make sure podcasts are configured to sync to your device from under the iPod's Podcast configuration tab.
To access the Podcasts tab for your iPod, plug your iPod in and click on it from under theDevices section in the left hand pane of iTunes. This will bring you to the Summary tab. Along the top you should see a Podcasts tab, so go ahead and click on it. Here you can configure how and what podcasts sync to your iPod.
If you do make any changes to do this tab, make sure to hit the Apply button in the lower right hand corner to apply the update changes to your device.
Otherwise, are you getting any error messages when you sync your iPod Classic with iTunes?

i see NO video tutorials on my demo content DVD. DVD player sees nothing.

Missing video tutorials, 3rd-party plugins

I just purchased Logic Studio and the documentation states that there are video tutorials on the Demo Content DVD. Yet when trying either my iMac's DVD player, or my hardware DVD player the videos are nowhere to be found. Not, luckily, that I'm struggling to use Logic 8. Still, what gives?
Also, I'm wondering whether it's possible to get 3rd-party instrument plugins (and ideally, their respective sound libraries) to show up in the Logic 8 browser, and/or if there are certain developers who are committed to supporting this level of compatibility with Logic 8.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!
In the near future my organisation will be making the switch to CS6 (currently CS5.5).
My role currently as a Graphic Designer means I tend to to use mainly Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. I am hoping my role will be extended to overseeing use of our various users of CS throughout the organisation.
With this in mind, I feel the need to get a better grasp of what all of the components of CS can do and their main functions.
Can anyone advise of any online videos/tutorials etc which give a run through of the applications within CS and perhaps after that, one's which go into a bit more detail on each application. I know I won't be able to master them all (not that I've mastered any really!), but it would be really helpful to my case for the new role.

I just want to let Adobe know that in the "Adobe Forums", "Adobe General forums", "Forum Comments" one of the videos is misloaded (on ipad viewing).
It looks like it should be a tutorial video on "How to set your Avatar and Profile Pictures in the Adobe Forums" and it actual plays "Meet Adobe Illustrator (1987)."
Please get this message to someone who can fix it. Thanks (I didn't know how to contact the correct person)

I have never used iMovie before. I would like to connect many videos together and edit them. I would also like to learn how to add transitions between scenes and add music. Help!

I want to learn how to create a video in iMovie. My goal is to be able to take many vidoes and place them into one. I would also like to delete scenes and and add transitions. I am also hoping to add music to the video I create.

I want to make a copy of slide show create from my own photographs and with a an audio track behind them. I have carefully followed the iDVD tutorials and burnt the result to a disc but image quality is very poor. What is wrong?

I want to make a DVD of a slide-show with an audio track behind the photographs. I have carefully followed the iDVD video tutorials but the result is far from satisfactory. The quality of the images on the resulting DVD are blurred and indistict although the original photographs are of a very high quality. Where am I going wrong? Would I have better results from a different program than the inbuilt iDVD and if so so what programs have others found to be better? I should be grateful for some expert guidance.

A standard DVD made by iDVD is made to the standard DVD resolution of 720 X 480, which is smaller than most HDTVs and monitors. When expanded to fit the entire screen or monitor, the image will distort slightly due to upscaling to fit the screen or monitor.

Computer issue - green/purple pixels in videos before and after rendering and bios shutdown

I built a new desktop for editing video during the summer. In the past week or two I've encountered some serious issues.

While editing in Premiere or AE CS6 I've been getting these weird lines appear randomly. If I close the program and re-open it, it'll disappear, and sometimes reappear at another point in the timeline. Really strange. I also have active backgrounds enabled and green or purple patches of pixels will sometimes appear. If I tell windows to go to the next background, the pixels usually go back to normal.
BIOS blue screen shutdown
I could be watching vimeo or youtube or doing video editing and suddenly get a shut down error. It also happened while playing the CRYSIS demo, although I had a perfectly smooth experience until that happened.
Here are my specs:
Windows 7 home premium
MSI 7751 mobo
Intel i7-3770S 3.10GHz
16GB G.Skills Ripjaw RAM
NVIDIA 560 Ti 1GB
500w PSU corsair
WD 1TB caviar black HD
Asus xonar audio card
128 GB sandisk SSD
Do you guys think this is a graphics card or PSU issue? My computer is next to a metal cabinet, but has plenty of room for air ventilation. The graphics card and CPU temps have generally been between 30-40 degrees Celsius, and always under 50 C (even when rendering), so I doubt overheating is an issue. Checked with HWMonitor.

Use the Power supply calculator http://extreme.outervision.com/index.jsp (the PRO version has more options) to determine your power supply needs
Even if the calculator says you are "somewhere" under 500 watts, you MAY simply have a "weak" power supply
