Illustrator won't launch; error 148:3

I'm getting a licensing error on a product I've owned for years. This is after buying into creative cloud and trying to install an update. Now, neither illustrator or CC will update. Any ideas?

I believe you should reinstall using the full three step way:
Uninstall (ticking the box to delete the preferences), run the Cleaner Tool, and reinstall.

Illustrator won't launch

I updated Updater and Illustrator and now it won't launch. I am using OSX 10.8.2 and Illustrator CS6.

What happens when you try to launch Ai CS6? Do you get any error message? Error screenshot would help.

I'm days into this reinstall and this is my "last" hangup / called support and they won't touch it since i didn't BUILD it with Windows 7 from them... just don't get this mindset. Only spent 5 digits (around $20,000 +) with Lenovo so far last year / may be the last dollar - I've run into many issues with support lately, for one the T61p I have has had 2 sys boards swapped, processor, 2 keyboards (after "loose screws from sys board swap" were found rolling around inside - yes, loose) among many other issues / only TP I've ever had issues with / want to stay with them, but if I have to fight city hall to swap out a lemon, heading out into the wild blue.

Adobe cs6 illustrator won't launch

Hi I"m trying to launch my Adobe CS6 Illustrator and it won't launch. It looks like its reading the system fonts and that's where it gets too. I tried deleting preferences doesn't seem to have done anything. All other applications are working fine.

Suitcase might have a function to check your fonts. But I would suggest you update it first to the most recent version http://www.extensis.com/de/font-management/suitcase-fusion/
Illustrator doesn't behave well with font management anyway. Let alone dated versions.

TS1717 iTunes won't launch, error msg.

I cannot get iTunes to launch, and receive this message:
"The iTunes Library .tl file cannot be found or created. The default location for this file is in the "iTunes" folder in the "music folder"
I've repaired and removed it and still the same message appears. I've done both when asked to "fix" or "remove" and it goes through the process, however it still won't launch, and the same error message appears.

Updated iTunes to 9.2, now application won't launch - Error #13005

Help! I just updated my itunes to 9.2 and now it won't launch. An error window comes up and tells me it's due to an unknown error # 13005? I tried re-installing it to fix it but it still won't. Please help. I'm on the white 13' Macbook, running OS X 10.6.4. I have my itunes library in my external HD. Dying to get this fixed any help would be appreciated.

try these user tips:
try removing the Genius database. In the "Finder" go to the /username/Music/iTunes/ folder and delete the "iTunes Library Genius.itdb" file. This may allow the program to launch again. This file will be recreated upon first use of the "Genius" feature.

I found that the TSLicense plugin was causing the problem.
From the log:
PlugIn Path: /Library/Frameworks/TSLicense.framework/Versions/A/TSLicense
PlugIn Identifier: net.telestream.license
This pIugin is installed with the Flip4Mac Windows Media Components. I solved the problem by uninstalling the WM Components via the uninstaller at /Applications/Flip4Mac/Flip4Mac WMV Uninstaller.pkg, after which iTunes opens successfully.

ITunes Won't Launch: Error -50

I've just installed iTunes 7 on both my PowerMac and PowerBook both running 10.4.7 and the new QuickTime 7.1.3. On both computers, iTunes would crash after I launch it and click on "Agree" in the license screen. When it crashes it says iTunes won't open because of error -50.
Help would be appreciated.

I said highlight the icon of the bloody HARD DRIVE you want to designate as a scratch drive; not the darned Photoshop application icon!

So what??? If you want to do editing on another drive you can still launch the one and only copy that will work on your bloody machine, namely the one installed and activated on your startup drive.
Any other copies of Photoshop you have installed on different drives attached to your computer WILL NOT BE ACTIVATED, they won't even launch, they won't work at all! However, they will confuse the hell out of the working copy of Photoshop.
When you edit video you can just boot off the same startup drive. Who led you on that totally screwed path? Had you ever used a Mac before? You have to learn Mac 101.

ITunes won't launch - error report

After being on the phone with Apple for an hour, they deduced that they can't help me. Maybe someone here can. Every time I launch iTunes, or try to, I get the following error message...

Some more developments on this in recent times. Doublechecking your precise situation, milady.
When you get the iTunes error message, if you click on the "More information" link, does the ModName show ntdll.dll or some other file name?
If you try to launch QuickTime, do you get a "QuickTime has encountered a problem" error? If so, does the "More info" link for the QuickTime describe the QuickTime problem as a BEX?

Indesign, Photoshop & Illustrator won't launch, no preference files

Just downloaded Creative Cloud on a Mac OS 10.7.5 and programs work except for Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, which do absolutely nothing when I try to start them. When I go into preferences, there are no files in the folders for these programs which leads me to think new preferences aren't being created when I download them. How do I get the preferences so those programs will actually open?

If you installed the 2014 versions, then that won't work. They require OSX 10.8 at least. Otehrwise check your folder permissions.

You need to instal lthe application manager/ Creative Cloud app first that register the AAM protocol handler on your system.

CS4 Dreamweaver/PS/Illustrator won't launch

I successfully installed CS4 version 4 onto Windows 7 OS. When I go to run Dreamweaver or PS or Illustrator they don't work. The Dreamweaver error message I receive is "Could not locate the resources file in the configuration folder."
Sound booth works fine and Flash runs too.
Any help much appreciated.

Sounds like a permission issue and/or your firewall/ virus scanner blocking something... Check, whether they run as admin or from a new user account, then check the existing permissions on the user home directories and program folders and fix any conflicts that may exist there...
