Im confused to what network im supposed to connect to

This must sound stupid. bu ti have followed the steps and set my apple tv up as it says but when it asks me to pick a network to connect to i dont know if im supposed to connect to my internet connection or my imacs wireless card. So basically connect to the web or to a computer wirelessly.
Now im confused because i dont seem to be able to find the name of my computer and i dont know what it is. I have connected to the internet connection and its not being detected in my Itunes. so im stuck
Can someone help me so i know what i need to connect to and also how to make it detected. Im hoping to just stream music and not sync any.

Both your iMac and AppleTV should be connected to the "internet connection" router. This way everything has access to everything.
When AppleTV is connected to the router, open iTunes on your iMac and initiate the pairing process (look for AppleTV's). Enter the PIN number on the AppleTV. It should appear under devices on the left.

I am just starting out with runbooks and making some progress. I have been able to startup and shutdown VM's on a schedule and it all works well.
I am now looking at how I can select only VM's that are connected to a specific virtual network. The objects returned by Get-AzureVM do not seem to contain the name of the network they are connected to. I have found that Get-AzureSubnet seems to work but
I am a little conserned about what happens if I have multiple networks with the same Subnet names? I can't find any information on this.
Has anyone any ideas?

Hi,
Based on my experience, there is no Azure PowerShell cmdlets to achieve that directly.
You can try the commands below:
Get-AzureVM -Servicename xxx -Name xxx (to get the internal IP address and cloud service name of the VM)
Get-AzureSubnet (to get the subnet name of the VM)
Get-AzureVnetSite (to get the regions and subnets of all the virtual networks)
Get-AzureService (to get the region of the cloud service)
After you compare the region of the cloud service which the VM belongs to and the Subnet that VM in, you can know the virtual network of the VM.
However, if you have virtual networks which are in the same region and has similar address spaces and subnet names, it would be impossible to distinguish that.
The easiest way to check that is from the Azure management portal. You can check the Dashboard of the Virtual network and the names of the VMs belong
to the virtual network will be displayed under resources.

Restore your iTunes library from your computer's backup along with all other important data that should be included with your computer's backup such as your documents, photos, etc.
Important to maitain a backup with any computer platfirm but event more so with Windows due to being very insecure and unreliable,

Delete and recreate your settings in the Network preference pane. If you're connecting to a wireless network, also delete the AirPort network password(s) in the Keychain Access application.

Confused about what I should do about my PC's declining performance.

I'm very confused on what I should about my PC's declining performance. My desktop computer is a HP Pavilion 20 All-in-one. The original OS was WIN 8, current OS WIN 8.1. I received my computer 11/8/13 and upgraded to WIN 8.1 just a few weeks later due to annoyance of it's pop-ups. The first installation of it failed but the very next day it installed on it's own and was successful. Not to long after that I began to have problems with performance. Lagging, freezes, blank or black screens, poor graphics and choppy audio and app crashes (which were solved under my HP warranty). A few months after the 8.1 upgrade I received a message in HP Support Assistant stating that my computer model was never tested with 8.1 and that could be the cause of my performance issues. The message also came with a compatibility scan which was of no use since 8.1 was already installed, and was recommended to either wait for drivers to become available or uninstall. I got tired of waiting so Dec. 2014 I did a refresh back to 8 and didn't reinstall the 8.1. I got back my computers excellent performance. Unfortunately that was short lived due to 8.1 automatically reinstalled it's self without an option to decline it, just a warning that in 2 days it'll restart my computer to finish the installation. That happened last week and now my computer is back to poor performance again. The audio is choppy (esp. when playing games), and after a few hours of use a humming sound starts, at first it's choppy (on & off), then it becomes constant. Also sluggish loading and lagging esp. of the mouse curser which happens on and off. I checked the task manager one day while that was happening and the Disk and CPU were turning red and going up to 100% and the Memory also spikes high but not up to 100 (in between spikes MEM stays around 30% maybe that's due to recent install of The Sims 4. Today I had a critical event happen with the Kernal Power and my computer restarted it's self. Those are the issues that I need help fixing but I also have questions that I hope can be answered here or get pointed in the right direction to an answer. 1) How or where can I get a straight forward answer to the compatibility of my computer with 8.1. When I had HP tech support I asked about the message I received from them and I was told to disregard the message because they are compatible. But after I refreshed back to WIN 8 the message came back and there was a note at the bottom of the page stating that the message could be old and possibly there are drivers available now. So I'm perplexed, if the two are compatible then why am I having the same problems that the message has listed as signs of incompatibility? 2) When I use HP Support Assistant to check for updates no downloads are available but when I use HP's website page software and driver downloads by product. It shows 10 downloads available for driver audio, driver chipset, driver grapics, driver network, BIOS, diagnostic, and software multi-media. Should I download all of them or do I need to check them out one by one to identify if they're old or new. 3) When my computer is idle why are background tasks performing scans that show on my action center icon but the stop as soon as the cursor is moved? and how can I identify which background processes & services can be ended or suspended to improve performance while playing high resource using games like The Sims 4? I would suggest that you update your Windows 8 drivers to the Windows 8.1 version drivers.
I had a look and the Windows 8.1 drivers are all newer versions.
Start with the Chipset, then Video, then the others, but not BIOS [yet].
Reboot after each install.
If performance doesn't seem better after updating your drivers to the Windows 8.1 versions then I suggest you also perform the BIOS update that is also available.

Adobe Bridge CS4 keeps crashing, can not be opened. What am I supposed to do?

I have Adobe Bridge CS4 and after the restart I get the message:

It is the first time since I instaiert the CS4. What am I supposed to do?

HT201394 I have an iPhone 5, updated to iOS 8 and all was great. Updated to iOS 8.0.2 and I lost my cellular connection! Did the complete opposite of what it was supposed to do! HELP!!!

I have the original iPhone 5 (the one released before 5C & 5S) and when I updated to iOS 8 everything was working well and it was great! Last night I updated to iOS 8.0.2 and it does the complete opposite of what it was supposed to do! I lost my cellular connection! It keeps saying "Searching..." in the top left hand corner of my phone where my cellular network is supposed to be. What's going on Apple? Why did I lose my cellular connection when the update was supposed to "fix" lost cellular connections for the iPhone 6. If the update was supposed to fix a higher leveled phone then why was my lower leveled phone affected??? I need answers and I need proper help to deal with this ordeal.

I ALSO just updated my brand new iphone 6 to 8.0.2, and I ALSO had my cellular service BRICKED.
All I get on the signal meter is Verizon 1x. Every so often 3G would popup and you could send a text (no calls though) but it's gone in seconds. So I can't send texts or make phone calls.
This phone worked immediately before the update and stopped working immediately after the update.
My neighbor has a iphone 5S. He updated to 8.0.2 lat week and had no problems UNTIL just this morning, when his phone stopped working - no cellular voice or data. He downgraded back to ios 8.0 but his cellular service never came back.
Called verizon - was told there were no service outages and then I got transferred to tech team.
Tech team had do all the Apple troubleshooting steps but nothing more. So they said "take it back."
So this BRAND NEW iPhone 6 phone is BRICKED because of iOS 8.0.2.

Hi, It's been a week now since im having this problem with my iPod touch 4thgen 8GB. it says it needs to be restored but when i do so it gives me an error which says " the iPod software update server could not be contacted ". I've tried restoring it a hundred times and each time this is what it says. under it is written " make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active or try again later ". what does that mean? that what am I suppose to do now? please help.

Try:
- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
Public DNS — Google Developers
OpenDNS IP Addresses
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem

Kin Twom Screen problem. What am i suppose to do now?

This is my 3rd Kin twom Phone
(1st - replaced for some random software issue - went back to Previous kin for some reason..)
(2nd - Certified Pre Owned - I Thought you guys check for Cosmetic problems? there was literally a part that came almost off on the phone. really)
(3rd - slide was loosen too much compare to others, dusty camera, & one of the screw bolts were missing - Representative said "I can't give you another replacement for this is already my 3rd phone(their new replacement policy or something? where is it written...?) and says they will give me an option of buying Extended warranty - did first, then rejected for they were literally asking me to PAY MORE FOR THEIR OWN MISTAKE)
Whats more ironic? This happened within 2 months of my purchase(as i remember) and store representative never questioned when they saw me waking into the store like 5 times - barely one or two customers were there when i went there.
Now, because Verizon store near me rejected the replacement(when two of replacement was already bad when i received it), i just sucked it up and used it, hoping i don't ever have to go back to the store to talk to the representative - that has no such respects to customers.
Then few days ago, screen flickering begin, then within two days, phone died or something. Screen doesn't turn on, and it seems like phone just died because i cant sync with the Zune software anymore - even though phone is on(back light on keyboard is on when phone is open)
What am i suppose to do now? go to that store representative and get rejected again?
or even though they might replace it, get like a random Certified pre Destroyed phone?
I wish Verizon will become customer friendly like as how they used to be 5 years ago. its just getting worse and worse every day.

There seems to be a billing problem with the iTS. I've been trying to make purchases today (Dec 9th) too and it reports either the iTS can not process payments or it says my card was declined. I even changed the payment method to Paypal (which is never declined) and still no go.
I don't think it is "you" but a problem at Apple. Some popular new apps were released recently like Logic Pro and perhaps they're getting bombarded as they did when Lion was released.

Frustration! Refund for apps that don't do what they are supposed to?

How quickly a $2 app turns into a $50 waste of time!
I purchased a $2 unit converter app to use at work and whenever else I needed it. After playing with it for about 20-30 minutes, I realized that there were several calculation errors. The unit converter simply didn't do correct conversions! (1 foot equals 11.986 inches!?) Now, If I'm noticing some simple conversion errors myself, how many conversion errors are happening that I don't realize? Needless to say, this app is useless to me because I can't trust its data.
So I contacted the dev, and even got a response within a day. I sent a second message where I had done a lot of troubleshooting for them, hoping they could correct the problems. Nothing. No update, no response, nothing.
So this brings me to my question... how can you get a refund for an app that doesn't do what it is supposed to do?
Yes, yes, I realize the "all sales are final" thing. But this is where Apple's usual high level of customer service fails. Am I supposed to buy apps on blind faith that they work, knowing there is no refund? If I was assured that someone was testing these apps and assuring me that they do what they are supposed to, then okay. But that's not happening.
Oh, wait... read reviews before buying? How is that possible for new(er) apps? If nobody buys it because they are waiting for reviews, then nobody can review it. I'd hate to be a dev and make a great app and have nobody buy it because they were afraid it wouldn't work.
Not all apps have free/lite/trial versions.
If this "no refund" policy is to be fair, then there needs to be demo or trial periods on all apps, to be certain that they actually do what they are supposed to! Until then, I want my $2 back so I can buy a unit converter that doesn't have calculation errors. I won't hold my breath for that... or for the ~$50 of my time wasted testing someone else’s app to no avail, and trying to find a contact source for Apple to request a refund.

I do see where you are coming from.
However I'm just personally against people buying something with the intent of taking it back and that's what would worry me here. I'm talking about girls I know who buy 4 dresses to take home and try out (and perhaps wear) and then take some or all of them back. Now that's one way to shop but I don't agree with it as I think it makes it more expensive for the rest of us as there is a cost involved in customer service and repackaging returned items. Note that is an example and I don't particularly care about buying dresses myself - except on Fridays when I log on as BettyDP
And you mention you only want this for broken apps (i.e. ones that fail to deliver what the are for), rather than apps you bought and decided you didn't like/need. But this is a fine line and some people would use such a system to try to claim money back on an app they bought and thought wasn't that good, even if it did what it said. So who's to judge where that line is? And to have Apple employing people to make that call would push up the cost to all the apps.
Now you genuinely have an issue with this particular app and, in my opinion, deserve your money back. However if you buy 100s of apps and end up wanting your money back on a large proportion of them then I do not agree with you, for the above reasons. When spending money, in my opinion, you should do your research and read reviews to make sure it suits. Sometimes, for a new app, you can't do as much in which case you either take a risk or hope you can get your money back if it doesn't suit. Yes, an item sold should do what it says to meet basic trading standards (and otherwise it's basically fraud), but, IMHO, there should also be a level of caveat emptor (buyer beware).
Ultimately, for $2, I personally would probably chalk it up to experience and not try to reclaim it - thinking that the time spent trying to claim it back would be more hassle than it's worth. But then maybe that's just me.
Now your demo point is a good one. Some app developers make a demo or lite version of their app to give you a free preview. That's their choice and not something Apple enforces and they think the extra coding to make this version is worth it in that it hopefully will drive up more sales. I agree it would be nice if Apple put some funky time limit on ALL apps so developers don't have to do this, and so you get it for free for 24hours to trial. It would certainly help in your situation and I myself would also find this useful.
Finally the time you spent debugging the app is your time. You didn't need to do that and I don't think that's really that relevant here (I presume you aren't expecting to get you $2 back AND some extra because you spent some time fiddling with it?)
Anyway, now I've made my opinion known (which you are perfectly entitled to disagree with), I'll get off my high horse and actually point you out to something helpful:

you can do is go to ijailbreak.com then select downloads section.......scroll down and see the latest version of ipod touch second generation is available for download.....when it gets downloaded connect your iPod to itunes or keep it connected then hold option and click restore (mac) search the software by writing in search "iPod" a thing with white cube will show up if it is the file you just downloaded click it and wait for itunes to do its work......you can ask more if you are on windows

It worked for me finally. I took out the DNS numbers in airport admin utility, and restarted the airport express. I do not remember putting the DNS numbers in, I wonder from where the airport express got those numbers.
After restarting, it worked.
