I installed-enabled MS win media player firefox 1.0.0.8, i still did not get streaming, error box comes up and says 'stream load error', the 'windows media test' thing did not work, i tried iheart radio-no luck, so i disabled win media player plug-in dynamic link library 3.0.2629 and tested and still did not work, i also have plug ins: silverlight 5.0.61118.0 and quicktime 7.6.9 7.6.9.0 enabled. I don't know why all of the sudden i have a stream problem with firefox, yesterday, i tried on IE which i never use and had no problem with it. i will try to do more trouble shooting and see, its really frustrating, if can't figure out, i guess will have to revert back to IE which i really don't want to do, but---oh well. thx for help.

Used a template to create form. when I run it from a page, the template is not shown
I have created a form based on a template. When I run it from the applications page I can see the template. I then added it as an application component item with a folder in a content area. I have then published this folder as a portlet in a page. When I the form from the portlet within that page, it opens up in a new window but there is no template.
How do I get the template to show when I run it from the portlet ?It is true that the template is not shown when the form is run as a portlet. But, with a small amount of coding in the additional pl/sql section, you can display the template.
Steps :-
1> Edit the form and go to the additional pl/sql section.
2> Put the following code in the "...before displaying the page" area

Hi, I have a new laptop and would like to syncronise my iphone with iTunes (which I have installed again). But my old laptop has died so I could not transfer any media files, etc. Can I simply connect my iPhone to the laptop without any data being lost?

Have you tried installing and updating apps from the iPhone itself?
If you have restrictions enabled go to settings>general>restrictions and make sure "Installing Apps" is on. -

How can I display the 11000+ "items not shown?"
I have Elements 7 and running Windows 7 64bit. "Show all" only shows a couple of thousand photos and 11000+ "items not shown." I have never stacked or hidden any photos. I've tried everything. The "show hidden" gives me 0 photos. When I ask to show a tag of some of the missing photos, I again get 0. The photos are not shown in any of the views. When I try to reimport the photos, it says they are already there. I need help desperately. I've put too much work into this organizer to start from scratch.
Thanks for the reply and the terrific FAQ source. I followed the directions suggested, but things actually got worse. When I tried display all, I got 0 photos - nada - zip. I kept messing around and finally success. I tried so many combinations of things that I'm not sure which actually solved the problem, but I believe it was reconnect all. I had tried this a couple of times before without success, but this time I deleted from the catalog all items elements couldn't find, even though I knew where they were. Lo and behold all 13000 photos appeared. BTW many of those are duplicates.

I'm getting prompted to update adobe acrobat 9.5.5 which I have deleted. I am currently using 10.1.13. It is still asking me to update 9.5.5 (can't find anything using it) I have tried to cancel the update prompts for 9.5.5, but it only recognizes the 10.1.13 version. Suggestions? Am I missing something? It's driving me crazy!

Could you please let me know what version of OS are you using.
Also, go to Control Panel/System Preferences in Windows/MAC and check whether Acrobat 9 is shown under installed programs list.
You might also try running Acrobat cleaner tool to remove all traces of previous versions of Acrobat:

Then, install Acrobat X again from the link mentioned below:

Panic: couldn't reserve the lopage pool: not enough lo pages
I had used my Mac Book Pro early yesterday evening, worked fine.
But later last night, when I opened the lid, it was like a gray screen descended over the screen and large black dialog centered on the screen said, "You need to restart your computer. Hold the power button down..."
When I restarted it, the laptop didn't come up at all; almost as sson as I started it, there were diagnostic messages across the initial white screen with the apple logo in the center saying "panic (cpu 0 caller 0x27b2a2): couldn't reserve lopage pool - not enough lo pages". Some of the details are below.
Anyone recognize this kind of error? Any suggestions on what might be the problem? Where it's saying "not enough pages", that makes me think the memory has gone bad. Or perhaps the motherboard?

I have a iPhone 4 and I use a hotmail email account. Recently it's not been notifying me of me of emails. I've checked notification settings all set to get them but when you look at overview of notifications the email ones not shown like other apps do? Can anyone help its driving me mad?
I had the same issue. I just went to the Apple Store today to talk to someone about it. They had me delete the account and then add it back in. It's been working fine ever since!

I have restored my iphone but camera shutter still will not open/work
Try closing the Camera app completely and see if then works when you re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Camera 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Camera app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.
