I can't hear any audio in imported clips!

The video clips were originally MPEG, then I converted them to MOV (at least I think) in QuickTime Pro. When I imported the movies into iMovie, I can't hear any audio. Please help! Thanks so much.

If the source files were "muxed" (MPEG-1, MPEG-2, VOB, etc.), then this is normal. QT applications (like QT Pro, iTunes, iMovie '06, GarageBand, etc.) cannot convert "muxed" formats and retain audio. In this case use an MPEG-based, third-party utility like MPEG Streamclip (free), FFmpegX (donation-ware), Visual Hub (pay-ware), etc. for your conversions. (NOTE: MPEG Streamclip requires the QT MPEG-2 Playback component be installed for the conversion of MPEG-2 content.)

Recorded videos and I can't hear any audio. Is the audio there and I cant hear it, or didn't get picked up at all?

The other night I went to a concert and tried to record some videos on my iPhone 4. When I came home and watched them, there was no sound! So I tried everything from making sure it wasn't on silent, bluetooth was off, restarted it, tried opening it in a media player, and nothing. I even uploaded them to a computer and no sound. Then I tried to record a test video and when I did that, my audio was fine. Did I do something wrong when recording at the concert? And was the audio not picked up and I have nothing or is it there and I just can't hear it? Theres no buzzing noise or slight nosie, just completely silent.

You should have gotten a user manual. If the manual is of no help, contact the manufacturer.

Trying to sync new music i got on my mac which is my new computer to my iPhone and erase and sync is saying it will replace the contents of my phone. Does it mean Photos also or just Music and Videos?

You can only sync one iTunes Library from Mac to iPhone.

Since upgrading to IOS7.0.3 i have been having issues with my emails. My phone used to keep historical emails for months in the inbox provided I didnt exceed the mesage limit set, not it purges my emails so it only retains 2-3 days at most.

What type of account is this, POP, IMAP, Exchange? If Exchange, one of the options is to determine the number of mail days to sync. The setting may have changed, but you can set it to 1-3 days, 1-2 weeks, or 1 month. POP accounts do not have this function at all, and I don't have an IMAP account, so I cannot confirm that. Does this answer your question?

Restore the device as new.

Can't hear any audio off of my iPod

I have a 30GB iPod classic, and for the last year or so I've noticed the audio has started to go. First I was using just the standard provided headphones, and the audio went out in one earbud. I've replaced the headphones several times, but to my dismay, the headphones are obviously not the problem. I can still view everything on my iPod, I know the volume is turned up, but now, I can't get a single sound out of my iPod. I don't have a dock, so I haven't tried that yet, but I'd like to hear something out of my headphones.

Would have been nice if you had access to a dock port to test out the sound card.
Try [*_RESETTING and/or RESTORING*|http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/fivers/classic/#] your iPod Classic. (Keep in mind that RESTORING will return your iPod to original factory settings and will erase all your data and you will need to re-install via iTunes).
If that doesn't work then you can try cleaning out the headphone jack with an object smaller than equivalent to the size of the headphone plug. If that doesn't work then I your headphone jack assembly has failed and will need repair.

Having issues with gnome keyring

So ever since I did a system update (-Syu) I have been having issues with my gnome keyring.
Before I would use GDM and when I would go to type in my password the first time it would 'hang' and not respond, I would have to hit cancel and re-type in my password. If I would close my laptop lid and open it again, every time I would type in my password jt would just sit there and not respond and then I would have to reboot and go through the process again, first time doesn't work, second time it logs in, can't close laptop lid.
So I go tired of dealing with that and got rid of GDM and just made a bash script to load X on login from tty1. This works great, just one minor annoyance. Once I log in I get this window http://imgur.com/Slj1V1d except when I try to type in the password, no matter how many tires I take, it still just hangs and sits there. I can hit cancel and go about my merry way, but its always on the back of my mind and its pretty irking. Something that I know is broken that I have to deal with everytime I use my computer can be bothersome.
Would anyone know how I could either remove (from what I heard this wouldn't be good because gnome relies on the keyring for programs) the keyring, or delete the data with the keyring so that I could get a fresh start. I've tried seahorse, but it does the same thing as i've stated above.

Even though I got my baby all patched up and working, I still have that damn pesky keyring issue with GDM. So even deleting every thing in that directory, and re-installing the packages, it didn't fix the issue

I downloaded and tried EasyFind. It works but it took 30+ seconds to complete finding 3 files that are on One of my Five 25+ Gb partitions of my 130 Gb Seagate Cuda(Really 160 Gb, but my Sawtooth will only recognize 130) I figured that if I ever got a better box, I could reformat it to see the whole 160 Gb. So, as far as I can see, Spotlight's indexing scheme which finds the files instantly is probably preferable. Spot light allows you to rename your files from within it's app window. I've always thought that was pretty powerful. Could my doing so be causing me any issues? As i said it is the inability to Type in the Finder that seemed to be caused from changing file Extentions that were mis-written. Maybe it was a delayed reaction to my renaming files in the Spotlight app? I've done both on occasion.
As for these .DS_Store files. Apparently you can NOT stop them from being written to any folder that you touch/open/view during a days session. But, as a function of the OS, are the essential to have in their respective folders Forever? I've looked at the .DS_Store terminator app briefly and assume that getting rid of these files won't hurt the regular operation of my OS. They will just be re-written if I ever have to go back to any particular folder again. But, apparently, some have said that if the plan on burning a CD or DVD of their data, they delete the .DS_Store files first and then do the burn.
I'm thinking from your having suggested this tremination app that you suspect that my having all of these ,DS_Store files could be a situation where any of them could have become corrupted and terminating them regularly should be part of my regular maintenance.
Does that sound like I'm understanding what I can do?

Since the last update, days ago, I can't hear the Spanish language in some of the Netflix Latin America movies, but if I play the same movie from a computer, I can hear the audio in Spanish.
