Im having trouble saving images from photoshop to my samsung tablet any ideas

im having trouble saving photoshopped imsges onto my samsung tablet any ideas ?

I have no knowledge of the Android OS.  I do have an iPod and its OS iOS is not really comparable my Windows  OS.  The iPod does mount as a dive on windows and the iPod camera roll is accessible. The jpes images can be copied to my pc.  However the PC does not have access to the iOS file system even apple user don't have real access the iOS file system.   Image need to be synced between the iPod and PC through iTunes sync.  Itunes messes with your PC images and creates some sort of image database and syncs that database between PC and Apple mobile devices.  There are also apps that help you share file between PC and Apple mobile devices.  I have no idea how files are shared between PC Operating Systems platform versions and Android OS versions.  Photoshop may not be able to save to Android files system.  Photoshop Can not save to Apple mobile devices. Photoshop may be able to save to Apple's Mac unix file system through some form of network share.
How does one share files between Android devices and PC OS devices?

What problems are you having ? You should be able to sync photos by connecting and selecting your iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders (or iPhoto albums/events) to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.

  • Why am I having trouble saving images consistently with Photoshop 5

I have been trying to save images from one file to a final modified one.  Two problems:  1) Some images are unedited and save sometimes but not always.  Why?    2) Some are a combination of an original plus a transformed close-up from another image.  When the finished edited image saves, it is much smaller than the few unedited images that did successfully save.  Why?
The images are digital photos of my jewelry.  In order to decrease the number of pages on my impending website, I am attempting to transfer, when one is available, a resized close-up to the other shot of  the full set (close-ups are what sell the work!).  Some of the images show 25% on the top bar but that doesn't seem to make a difference as to whether it will save or not.  Others (I notice they seem to be more horizontal images) are 16.7% ?  Does anyone still use Photoshop 5 or is this a fix that is so basic, it is the same for newer editions???  Anyone?
Also, while we are on this page:  I tried to upload example images to illustrate what I am trying to do but kept getting an error message.  Any advise?

For web use the resolution of the file has no meaning only the pixel dimensions.
It depends on the site your uploading to, some have specific sizes for the photos (pixel dimensions) that is usually listed somewhere on the site, but to give you a rough idea, the size might say something like no bigger than 800x600.
That would mean 800 pixels x 600 pixels (resolution doesn't matter) and the usual file type is jpeg. The 800 is for the long side of the photo.
To see the pixel dimensions of a particular file, go to Image>Image Size and i agree with the others on the % being the viewing (zoom) percentage of the image on the screen and doesn't mean anything as far as saving files. 100% is actual pixels.
If you double click on the zoom tool in the toolbox that % should change to 100% (actual pixels) In the photoshop 5 help, look under Looking at the Work Area-Viewing Images.
Do any of the files your saving have layers (more layers than just the Background layer)?

  • Trouble saving images from safari

I'm running into a strange issue and wondering what's going on. Sometimes (not every time) when I save a jpg from safari, it will show up in my saved photos but it will be blank, all grey with a camera icon and jpg under it. Then, any time I save a photo after that it doesn't show up.
Deleting the blank photo and saving it again works, but this is a hassle as I never know WHEN the error will happen and would rather not check after every photo to see if it occured.
Any ideas why this is happening? It's not the image itself since if I try again after deleting it, it will save properly.

I'm having this issue and have a detailed post about it as my first post on this forum.    Good luck.  I really hope someone can help us out with this...

  • Trouble saving image from CCD

I have an Andor Newton EMCCD Camera which I am interfacing with Labview 8. I have modified a VI supplied by Andor for capturing cooling the camera and capturing data. The data returns from the Acquisition vi as a 1D array. It is reshaped into a 2D array and then viewed on an intensity graph that is 1024 x 256 (the number of pixels on the camera). This works fine- the image is shown as blue and black in the intensity graph (although greyscale would be preferred). If I try to flatten pixmap and save the image as a jpeg, the image looks different. It seems to have lost detail, even if I turn it into a 24 bit pixmap.
Below is an image that I got using Andor's software. You can see two emission lines showing as bright regions across a grey background. The same image is shown as blue and black on the Labview output, and the bright lines are very hard to distinguish.
I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. How do I take data acquired from the CCD and output it as a jpg? Why does it look great as an intensity map but it doesn't work in jpg format?
If you want me to post the vi, just let me know.

LABVIEW image (want it to look like Andor image):

It's probably a bug somewhere with your VI. So we'll need to see that (with a sample array of the data, that works in the intensisty chart but not saved).
You can post attachments and link to them to add pictures. Like so (your image host doesn't like hot linking).

  • Having trouble saving text from Arabic-script PDFs

I have several PDFs created using different versions of the PDF format with text that uses the Arabic script (i.e. Arabic, Farsi, etc.) All I need is to save the text properly into something like a Unicode text file, an RTF or a DOC file, or something similar. I use Adobe Acrobat Std ver 7 and often get error messages or the text that is saved is corrupted. What components/fonts/software/etc do I need to install on my machine to do this properly? While the operation that I need - "Save as ..." - is pretty basic, the variety of PDF documents I have is pretty wide in terms of when and how they were created, what languages they contain etc. Thanks!

    Bil,
Thanks for the info. I actually did observe exactly that in a couple of cases, i.e. "copy & paste" worked when "save as" did not. Do you know what is fundamentally different between these two operations? Also, if I am willing to lose all formatting and just get pure text (I am thinking of "pure text" as a UTF8 or UTF16 byte stream), does this make my life any easier? Finally, how can I find out which font I have problems with when I "save as" and get garbage? E.g. if I open the PDF file in a text editor, where is the detailed font info?

  • Trouble saving images from email 'no permission'

I'm trying to save some images I've been sent  on email but a message comes up saying that I can't save them as I haven't got permission. I'm not sure why this has started to happen or how to rectify it.

    Nope, unfortunately you can't.
I guess it was because you can just go on any computer and save them there.

  • Trouble saving images on cRIO-9022

I'm having trouble saving images on my RT target cRIO-9022 (VxWorks). I get "error 53 occurred at Write GIF File.vi LabView: Manager call not supported" when running the code. What I'm trying to do is save periodic snapshots of front panel charts/graphs locally on the cRIO and download them at a later time.
I've also tried some of the report generation VIs and had broken arrows and compile errors. from what I've read in help and online, It seems perhaps it is not possible to do what I'm trying to do with my particular target. Is there any reason that I shouln't be able to save images locally to the RT target? has anyone else had a similar problem generating reports or saving images on the cRIO-9022?
Thanks for any help you can provide,
    truth204

I've run into similar problem before... I was unable, at the time, to find a good workaround for saving front panel images to file on RT because the necessary report generation functions were unsupported on the RT environment. If you are just saving data from charts and graphs, you might want to consider saving the data as a binary file or a spreadsheet/.csv style file. This is ultimately what I did in my RT application, and then I created a separate desktop application that would read the data from those exported files and reproduce the charts/graphs that were created on the RT target.
Here is a KB describing your error, for reference: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/39B5B135F32902388625723B00683B27

  • I Am having trouble email pictures from Elements 11 .

Hi everyone I am having trouble send pictures from Photoshop Elements 11. I did it before I don't why not working.  Could you help me .

    Hi,
If you get to the point of seeing the message ready to send and then click on the send button, do you see an uploading message?
For an image that you have just emailed, go to the Information panel on the right hand side and look at History - does that end with an emailed message?
Most errors I have seen have occurred before the email is actually sent.
It could be a problem with the Adobe server but I have just managed to send myself an image.
The other possibility is that the email is being blocked by a spam filter somewhere.

  • Saving files from Photoshop to Import into iMovie 09

    1. What is the best file format for saving images from Photoshop to bring into iMovie 09?
    2. What should the image size of the file be set to from Photoshop? I would like the best quality while working in iMovie prior to exporting and compressing after I am done editing.
    Thank you in advance.

I see you have not marked your topic "Answered", so you may be hoping for some other suggestions. If your item 1 is intended to ask about file "type" (.psd, .jpg, .png, .tif, etc.), here is my suggestion.
Because of the large file size of PhotoShop (PS) .psd image files, *unless you need to keep the PS version with Layers, Adjustments, etc*., _and unless you do NOT keep a separate folder of PS images_, I suggest that you NOT save the PS .psd file "format" (type) into iPhoto (or iMovie.)
I keep all PS (.psd) image files that I want to retain in separate folders outside iPhoto. I also save the finished (PS) image as a .jpg or .png version which I import into iPhoto for easy import into iMovie via the media browser. Whether to use jpeg or png depends on the image quality I need.
If you are capturing the snapshots that you are editing with PS from an iSight, other webcam, or a Flip camcorder, the jpg version will probably give you all the quality you need. However, to make your decision easier, you can save multiple file type (and compression settings) versions of the edited file when you are finished in PS. Then import all the various jpgs, pngs, tiffs, etc, into a test movie, lable (title) them for easy identification, save the movie, and see if you can tell any difference in quality or each image when you replay your test movie. If you can tell a difference, you can decide how much quality you need and match that need with the file type and size that gives the necessary quality level. If you cannot see a difference in the move regardless of which file type or compression level, you can save space by using the smallest image file.
+re: your item 2:+ I have nothing to add to Karsten's expert comments on resolution and file size.

  • Trouble Exporting Images from Lightroom 3

I am having trouble exporting images from Lightroom 3 with my User Presets. Error Message: The file could not be written. (1). It has always worked in the past but I just bought a new Mac and had everything transfered to it. Everything else seems to be workin fine. Any solutions?

Sometimes on new computers, the permissions in certain folders are not set up to allow you (the only user) to write files. It's worth a check.

  • Saving images from LR Mobile with edits.

I'm having a bit of trouble saving images on my ipad with the current edits.
To me it seems I have to manually sync the edited image first, otherwise Lr just saves a JPG of the original image to my photostream rather than a copy with adjustments on it.
Am I missing something or is this the way it works?
    Thanks for any insight.

Correct. As long your image is in Develop mode (same with presets and crop) and you would like to share from there you need to maually force sync your changes first. This is already logged as in internal bug. Thanks, Guido
