I am Having trouble syncing my iapd mini to my mac. I connect it with the cable but i will not sync stating that the connection to the ipad mini is lost. any ideas?????

Are you signed into the correct iD on the iPad in Settings>iTunes & App Stores>Apple ID?
Do you have Sync only checked songs and videos selected in the Summary Tab of iTunes? If you do, are you selecting the music to sync? If you don't have that checked, have you selected the music to sync? Are you trying to sync the entire library?

Hi..I've had a variant of this problem; my internet was accessible but my devices on wifi could not see the PC on Lan. That meant no iTunes syncing, Airplay from iTunes etc.
Dlink has a strange default setting that isolates Wifi & Wired connections into different subnets.I'm assuming you have DHCP setup on your router and you're PC or MAC has internet access via the same router. Try the following steps to see if this solves the problem for you-
1. Go to Setup -> Local Network and Uncheck the box that says 'Configure the second IP Address and Subnet Mask for LAN' - Hit Apply
2. Go to Wireless -> Wireless Basic and Uncheck 'Enable MultiAP Isolation' - Hit Apply
3. Restart your Router
Let me know if this solves your problem. I've been frustrated by my problem for months & had nearly given up.

Have you tried a soft-reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I have a Cisco router with wireless and Ethernet connections.I have my computer plugged into the router and my iPad uses the Wi-Fi. ComputerIP is 192.168.1.108 the iPad IP is 192.168.1.104

ok this is getting a little ridiculous we have 3 ipad mini's and 1 iphone in our household and everyone of the usb cords breaks at the plug that goes into the devices. The latest is my wifes iphone cord and the phone is only 3 weeks old. what gives apple? Never had a problem with the older style cords. Bad thing is they charge a small fortune fo these cords.

I have three non-working cords as well. The cable is so flimsy at the connector. If enough people complain then maybe Apple will try creating a better product! They should issue some credit or send customers a new cord.

I have attempted the upgrade 3 times and each time running out of battery while being plugged in to a macbook air before upgrade completed. It was running for 13 hours. Try this. With one of these videos selected in iTunes, at the iTunes menu bar go to Advanced and select Create iPad or Apple TV version. This will duplicate the selected video in an iPad compatible version. Select this version to be transferred to your iPad to see if this makes any difference.

It appears that when I sync it seems the sync is syncing the computer with the iPad not iPad with computer.
I have delegated all movies on iPad when I check some movies on iTunes it adds the purple bar at the bottom and availability of space decreases accordingly. When I hir apply/sync it goes through the process then when finishes step four the purple bar at the bottom goes and available space increases again.

As suggested i should download iCloud Control Pannel to my pc to which I did. After I click "manage storage", it shows I have used up 621.70MB of my total storage 5GB. Thank you or taking your time reply this query. Unfortunately I still can't find my picture. My photo stream folder is empty! :(
But my iclod account says I have 621.7 MB backed up. What are they? How to access this backed up file? What does I meant by INCOMPLETE. Does it mean that the file ha been corrupted during the process? Or ICloud is not compatible to my laptop?
