hello, the addons manager is exactly the right place to look for it. please try disabling the addons that are listed there one-by-one (a restart of the browser might be necessary after each step). maybe one of them is bundling this kind of adware.

Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there? -

My iMAc is weeks old and I have a free upgrade to Mountain Lion. Codes were inserted correctly and process started. It stopped at 54MB and remains stuck. I cannot move the process on, can't use the redeem code again.

Do you not have the photos in your iPhoto Library on your computer? If they are not on the computer then you never synced your phone to the computer so they would be transferred. If that's the case, then they are lost.

You cannot. Apple does not support downgrading of iOS, there is no supported method to do this.

I thought that bying Mac OS X Mountain Lion was enough for all my 3 computers ! It runs for 2 of them, but I can't download it anymore for my last computer : does it mean that it's ok for 2 computers only ? Do I have to by it again for my last computer ? I have the previous model of Mac Pro (12 core 3.33GHz) with GTX 770 plugged in. The system is 10.8.5. Till now, I was using Apple Cinema Display HD 30", but I would like to change it to a better monitor with 4K resolution, if it will be possible. The question is, will it work fine with this card and under this version of OS?
I don't want to upgrade the OS, because well… I don't like how it looks like, so this version of OS is quite important for me.
The graphic card itself can run this resolution without a problem, but what a about the OSX? Everything will be OK?Using 4K displays and Ultra HD TVs with Mac computers - Apple Support seems to say that with built-in hardware you are out of luck. You may be able to get special drivers from your videocard manufacturer. http://www.xlr8yourmac.com/ is a good place to learn about that.

I have a Mac mini (bought in 2013) and the LG 20EN33 screen. I tried filing with the monitor's settings as well as the ones in display but the screen is stretched and the font is quite big. I saw a thread about Switch Res X so downloaded the app, but have no idea where to start to use it to correct issue. can someone help me please?

With Switch-X you want to change the resolution to match your monitor's resolution.
You have an old monitor and it may be best to get a new one that support the the now standard 1080p (1920X1080) resolution.
I have not ideal how Switch-X works since I use the free version of Display Menu fro the Mac App Store -
MY iPod touch says iPod I'd disabled, connect to iTunes, but it is green at the top instead of red. It won't allow me to slide bar to open screen or nothing. I tried to connect to iTunes and a message appears and says iTunes cannot find my device must have pass code to continue. But I can't do anything on the iPod at all. What can I do to fix this?
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
