If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key, that should make the menu bar appear.

Double-clicking on an .itl file makes iTunes open the last database that it opened, not necessarily the file clicked on. To switch libraries press & hold down shift as you attempt to lauch iTunes. If you don't see the choose or create dialog close iTunes and try again.
If you've opened the "correct" library but it doesn't have the expected content see Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash...

When I open up iphoto and click on the events tab then double click on an event, it used to show minis of all the photos in that event. Now it shows only one photo at a time. How do I get it back? Can you help?
On the bottom bar of the window (on the left iPhoto 11, on the right in other versions) note the slider. Drag it left.

The icon for Safari has probably moved to make room for new apps. Scroll the Home screen to look for it.

Somehow my iPad got switched for messaging to showing from my email. There is no option showing to use my phone number. How do I get it back to my phone number? This happened when I upgraded my iPhone today, but the iPhone messaging is using the phone number fine. It's only the iPad messaging that is messed up. Help, pls.

With the current version of iTunes the left-hand sidebar that you could get to show has been removed. Now when a device is connected you should get a device icon towards the top left of the iTunes screen next to the content type icons - click on that and you should get a list of categories down the left-hand side for the phone, one set selecting and syncing content from your computer's iTunes, and then a second set for showing what is currently on the phone.

You've got my money -- how do I get it back?
I sent a second check by mistake this month for 98.31 giving me a credit of 98.31. Verizon can't seem to figure out how to get my money back to me. You're company policies sure were quick to ensure you don't have to let go of it though. How do I get it back before other checks start bouncing??? I've tried calling customer service. They submitted a form to someone I'm not allowed to talk to. An answer of "No. You can't have your money back." is expected in 3-5 business days.
It's MY money!!! Is it asking too much to get it back? My verizon bill will also be affected next billing cycle because if I don't get this money back several other checks will bounce leaving me that much short next month.It wont affect next months bill as you have already paid it.
Sending a payment and expecting a quick check to sent back will not happen. Too many hands involved, accounts receivable, accounts payable, Checks are cut on specific days......etc
If you really need the money, stop payment. The cost will be less than $96 or the cost of bouncing checks. But if it has cleared, you may have to ask friends for a short term loan and take the $96 that would be paid next month to pay them back. It is a much easier fix. -

You have probably simply opened a blank Layout template which has no default text area. In Layout documents you need to add textboxes to the page.
Just start over from the Tempalet Chooser and pick a Word Processing document (see the sidebar titles) or a template with actual content in it already.
