Im on a Mac OS X 10.6.8 and i need 10.7 Lion and its not letting me download it because i want to download it for a minecraft bukkit server everytime i run it says this requires 10.7 lion or higher and im trying to download that! What do i do?

You need to purchase Lion from the App Store, which should start it downloading. Is that how you are downloading it, and if so, how is it not working?

Given you state the iBook G4 with OS X 10.4.11 Tiger installed, is a dated and obsoleted system, the newest OS X version it could use would be from a retail Leopard OS X 10.5 DVD, then updated with a download file to 10.5.8 from Software Updates. With that (the highest version of OS X any PowerPC based G3/G4/G5 can run) a few more options are available, given support for that newer system (now also not actively upgraded) was from a more recent era and a few browsers, a later but not new Flash plugin, and a few items are still available.
You can get a few later browsers that will work OK in OS X 10.4.11, one is TenFourFox, based on FireFox from Mozilla code; another is iCab, works free -- but asks you to buy license. Others for older PowerPC Macs seem to only support Leopard 10.5.8, such as SeaMonkeyPPC. The coding behind these is different so the people who volunteered to rebuild workable browsers have tried to ecomomize, yet still help us older system and hardware users be able to go online. These browser builds may have limits online, as the web has newer content and some items may not work in the older code. But they do OK. I use the above browsers, as the Safari browser is not supported and sees no later security updates. I have it too.
If you are trying to get a later OS X system, you could only get & use Leopard 10.5(.8) in retail DVD, perhaps from Apple Sales Support for a fee, if available; as a replacement or upgrade. Or look online for retail and not computer-specific install discs; as those grey label discs from other computers won't work in a different series.
You may be able to find a fair value in a previously owned older MacBook, some companies offer them repaired and running, with a limited guaranty of a sort. See OWC online for used computers, or a company such as wegenermedia, who repairs computers, has parts, and some inventory online. Or if you want a later model and are in the market, the Apple special deals page for refurbished models can be found from the online Store page, in the US.

The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required
If you do not have that information you will not be able to use the Device.

The app store always gives you the option to use a previous version of the app IF it is available for your device.

How do I sign in to my iTunes for the first time? Everytime I try it says I have not used iTunes before, and to review my account information.
It sounds like you are trying to create a new icloud account, not just logging into an existing account. When you type in your Apple ID and get that error, it's because you are trying to create an account using the same ID that is already being used in another account.
Go to Settings>iCloud and scroll to the bottom of the screen. If you are logged in, press the Delete button, then try logging in with the existing ID.
As for pics, the most secure way is to connect ipod to PC with USB and look at the Photos tab for your device in iTunes. Using Photo Stream is another way, but it doesn't always work, depending on conditions. -
I am using iWeb '08 2.0.4 to create a web page...since I will not be able to publish to Mobileme I am trying to publish to another server...I keep getting this error message " Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING" I have no idea what to do???? Any Suggestions?
This is to do with the .htaccess file on your server.
You either need to deal with this and open it with an html editor or change your web host.
Do a search of this forum and there are plenty of posts that relate to parse error and .htaccess pages. Have a look on the right hand side of this post and you will see similar ones like yours. -

i recently bought the new iphone 5s and cannot use it becacuse i need to connect it too itunes version 11.1, However it wont let me download it because it says i have to download version 10.8.6 first but wont let me download that either so i have a brand new iphone that is useless because i cant download itunes on my macbook. how can i fix this?
10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) is an upgrade from Leopard, which you apparently have (10.5.8).
iTunes 11 requires 10.6.8 (not 10.8.6 as you have typed). If your Mac is an Intel one with at least 1Gb of RAM then you can buy Snow Leopard in the online Apple Store (type 'Snow Leopard' in the search box rather than browsing for it).
Once installed, download the combo updater to bring it up to 10.6.8:

You will then be able to install iTunes 11. However if your Mac has a PPC processor you cannot install Snow Leopard and will be unable to proceed. To check this, choose 'About This Mac' from the Apple menu and look where it says 'Processor' - it needs to say 'Intel' for you to be able to upgrade. -

Says file not supported but all the tutorials says it will supoort and edit raw imagesEvery camera has its own raw format and ACR must be updated for each new model that appears. The canon 70D requires at least ACR 8.2, which theoretically requires PSE 12. You can use the adobe DNG converter (free) to convert your files to DNG files that your version of ACR can understand, or upgrade to PSE 12, or use the Canon software to convert and use PSE for further editing. You could also try doing a manual install of 8.2 to see if it would work for you. Is this the mac app store version of PSE? That is much harder to update.

Aperture ate my picture files and they are not recoverable. The guy at the Genius Bar told me to Trash the App, empty Trash, then go to Purchases and reinstall. But Purchases says it is "Installed" so it does not let me download it again. HELP!!!!
I typed Aperture into Spotlight and sure enough it did show up.
It looks like it is supposed to be in Apps.
But it is not there.
So I clicked on the spotlight Aperture and it opened up the App!!!!
But I do not know where it is to move it!
How can I find it?
While Aperture is running and you are seeing it in the Dock, ctrl-click (or right click) the Dock icon.
You will see a contextual menu. Click on "Options", then select "Show in Finder".
And check the "keep in Dock" mark, so you will not lose it from the Dock. -
Hi, I have just set up my domain email address with google and Im trying to set up mail on my mac. Its receiving mail but its not letting me send emails from that address. I have tried quite a few solution but cant figure it out. Can anyone help

I have a mac os x 10.7.3 and am trying to install a dell v515w printer. Have tried numerous times to find driver, but mac says not compatible. I read something about using a Lexmark driver. Any suggestions???
