If you want to install 64bit OS system, then you should run the HDD recovery option once again.

Not sure about the CD burning issue but you can turn off the listing of your past purchases. Edit > Preferences > Store > Untick Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.

I've downloade bootcamp 5 to run windows 7 but i can't get the wireless internet to work. It does not seem to recognise it. Without the use of the internet the software that i want to install i.e sage instant accounts will be useless. Can anyone help please? i also have a problem of ejecting the cd disc. i press the normal eject button and nothing happens. The only way i could eject the windows 7 disc was to toggle to the mac side of the computer and it would eject from there. Does anyone know how to do this from the windows side?
You have not installed the Boot Camp drivers.
Start up in OS X and download the Windows support software from this site > http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1638 Follow the steps of the link except the ones to install Windows.
Then, start up in Windows and install the Windows support software -
i made a windows partition on my mac but now i cant swap back to the mac part so is there any way that i can delete the windows partition whilst running windows 7 so i can go back to the mac part

That issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I can download either version, but I get an error message after attempting to install.
First tried Boot Camp 3.2. Error message indicated I need Boot Camp 3.1 first.
Then tried Boot Camp 3.1. Error message indicated I need Boot Camp 3.0 first
Then tried Boot Camp 3.0. Would not allow download.
I know the OSX came with Boot Camp why is there a problem????!!3.0 is on your OS X DVD. Clearly spelled out in the guide in Boot Camp Assistant, and here -

I have no experience in dealing with servers, but my senior has asked me to investigate on how to migrate instances on ADAM (windows server 2003 32bit) to AD LDS (Windows server 2012R2 64 bit) as in place upgrade is not an option as we're running a 32bit

it'd be of great help if you could give me a step by step process of replication.
There is no step-by-step article/guide of replication process, replication between AD LDS instances of the same configuration set is an automatic process.
All we need to make sure is to create a replica of the existing instance, and there is no network/security obstacle preventing the replication.
Please note that we need to install AD LDS from Server manager on Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2.

My iMac desktop and McBook Air laptop run on Mavericks. The laptop also runs Windows 7 via VM Ware Fusion. Can I transfer this capability to my McBook Air, so I can run the same plus the Windows programs on my laptop?
Thanks Kappy, but I should add that my desktop runs VMWare Fusion and Windows 7. My laptop and desktop basic operating systems are Mavericks. When I travel, I take my laptop with me. My desktop runs a Windows investment program I like, and I'd like to be able to use this program in my laptop when I'm on the road. VM Ware said I could do this, but would have to make and then transfer a "file" of the programs in question. How would this be done, since it would involve 3 files: Fusion, Windows 7 and the investment program? Maybe Apple should do this at the genius bar? Appreciate any comments...Thanks again, Patrick

I have re-run the update process at least 10 times on both machines running Windows 7 Pro (most recently this morning), and each time both machines running Windows 7 Pro (one is 64-bit, one is 32-bit) say that Firefox v34.0 is "up to date". I checked Mozilla.org, which states that Firefox v34.0.5 was released in mid-December, but it didn't say anything about whether that update was only for certain OSs. I have also run multiple anti-virus scans from different providers on both machines running Windows 7 Pro, and all scans indicate no issues.
Please advise is there are different versions of Firefox for Windows 7 Home/Pro, or if I am having an issue. with the updates? Just curious before I start updating it for once.You have to update Windows to the latest version with Windows Update and keep it updated, because this is a matter of security. Microsoft provides a lot of security updates and you have to install them even if you have got an antivirus. Then you can find other updates, and if you want to install Windows 8.1, just install all updates with Windows Update, and then go to the Windows Store and download Windows 8.1.
Apple says that Windows 8.1 is not supported by Boot Camp, but people say it works without any problem with the most recent drivers, so I do not find any risk after upgrading to Windows 8.1. -

Download the current version of itunes, attach your device to your computer, open itunes, go to the device (upper right hand corner) and select update. It'll update to iOS 6.0.2, the current version of iOS.

Google Chrome only runs on Intel based Macs.
PPC based Macs like the G5 can only be upgraded to run Leopard 10.5.8. Apple no longer supply it, so look in Amazon or eBay for a black retail install disk. Don't be surprised if you see a pricetag of around $200. -

Platform Service not running - Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit
Network Magic v5.5.9195.0 tells me that the platform service is not running - however the Services snap in says that it is and alows me to stop and start it, but NM still tells me it is not running - it was working fine until a few days ago and has suddenly stopped..
Any ideas?
