Im stuck on either buying the latest ipad or waiting fpr the next generatons of ipads to come out.. Id like to get it as a gift for my mother but with ios8 coming soon and the new gen soon im stuck on if i should wait

You do realize that all models of the iPad currently out will be able to run iOS8? the 2nd gen iPad may not get all the features of iOS8 but those aren't for sale anymore so not an issue.
If you need it now, buy an air now. If you can wait a couple of months, wait and see if a new model comes out later this year. There is a big press event scheduled for the 9th and it may include news of any upcoming models to be released for the holiday season.

I purchased an ipad from a dealer on ebay with a 9 month warranty still on it. I set it up and decided to return it and buy the new Ipad instead. How can I be sure I didn't activate the warranty, or deactivate if it has been activated?

There's no way to deactivate a warranty.
The warranty transfers with the machine, has nothing to do with the owner.
Look around in the Support pages, you can figure out a way to type in your serial number and see what your current warranty status is. -

Apple does not take trade-ins. You'll have to look for a dealer that does, though you'll probably get more for the iPad 1 if you sell it yourself.

It's not Apple's fault that you can't have iOS 7 for your device.
It is simply the fault of your device - the hardware won't do it.

I'm looking to buy the new ipad but I've a question. I can only afford either the 16gb with cellular or the 32gb without cellular. If one HAD to pick between bigger storage space or the added cellular which would u pick? Please help!
Like I said, I only have WiFi iPads, and don't know much at all about the data plans, but I don't think that you have to commit to a long term contract and I believe that there are plans that you can cancel at any time. My point is that if you sign up for a plan, and you use it say 4 months out of the year, you could be spending that money that you saved on the original cost of the iPad and even more in the future.

i am willing to buy the new 3rd generation ipad (wifi+ 4g), since i live outside of US and we dont have a LTE connection and CDMA based 3G carriers.. which version of iPad should i settle for?
and isnt ipad supposedly locked to at&t and verizon????They aren't locked in this edition for worldwide use. However I don't believe you can use an AT&T on Verizon and vice versa. If you have CDMA service you will need the Verizon iPad.

I purchased the new gen 7 ipod nano and needed to update itunes to 10.7 but my current software says its up to date and won't download 10.6.8 Currently I have 10.5.8 Why won't this update?

And yes, you need LOTS of Internet to get the latest cat. The installer file is just 4.5GB in size, so on most internet connections it will take awhile to download. Once that happens, you will have a choice to install it on top of your existing Lion partition, or onto a different one, that can even be a totally blank one.
Since you probably don't want to redo the wait, be sure to quit the installer as soon as it finishes downloading and starts up automatically. Then save the installer (called "Install OS X Mountain Lion", and found in your Applications folder) onto another disk before going thru with the installation. When it concludes, it will erase itself. -

ThanksCurrently, the iPhones available in the U.S. are locked to american carriers so they cannot be used with other carriers anywhere else.
An Unlocked version of the iPhone should be released some time soon, though no actual date has been given yet.
The Unlocked phone should let you use a sim from any carrier in the phone and have it work.
However, it is up to the cell carriers in Spain wether or not they have Nano sims for sale to be used with an iPhone 5. If they do you may be able to purchase an unlocked Phone and use a sim card from a carrier in spain.
Talk to your carrier first to make sure they have Nano sims available for purchase. -
Should I buy the new ipad air?
I have an ipad 4 without the cellular capability and have always wanted one with that capability. I've been waiting for the new ipad and now that it's out I'm asking the experts here - should I buy the new one or get an ipad4 with cellular?
My first iPad (first gen) was a 16. I managed well with it. Then upgraded to a 3rd gen with 32 GB. What I found was that if the space was there, I used it, even though I thought 16 was plenty. And suspect if I had gone to a 64 or a 128, would have found the same thing. If you think there is a chance that 128 would work better for you, that's what I would go with. Better to have it and not really need it, than not to have and wish you did.

I downloaded some upgrade for pages, (not the new version for $19.95) now my computer will not open previous pages documents on my desktop without me buying the new version. I am not interested in the new version as I have seen numerous negative comments. I simply want my system to work as it did before Apple pulled this trick to force me into buying the new pages. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have work to do !

Will the iPad 2 be cheaper when the iPad 3 comes out?
I cannot afford the iPad 2 right now, but the iPad 3 comes out this weekend, so knowing that the day the iPad 2 came out, the original dropped $100, I was hoping that I could do the same now with the 2. When is the best time to buy, and what should I skip that will make it as inexpensive as possible.

and there is no "best time" to buy one. of course Black Friday and tax free weakened will help saving some bucks.
