I have been told the adobe program has been downloaded but I cant open amy attachments in my emails ever

WHat attachments? What "Adobe"? What did you do? You need to explain better and provide the necessary technical information.

    I have downloaded the Pages App to my iPad mini. I open up an email on my iPad with a word document attached, but when I hold down on the icon it does not come up with the option to open with Pages. All I get is the option to open it with Mail, Adobe Reader or the 'Documents' app I downloaded (which won't work).
    Does anyone know how to open this word document?
    I have downloaded the free version of Pages to see what it's like before I pay for it. Might this be the problem?

    Quit the Mail app and reset the iPad.
    Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

    You've installed the Reader mobile app on your iPad? Are you able to log on to Adobe.com using the same user ID and password? Does the Reader app return an error that the user name or password is invalid, or does it simply not log you on?

    You mentioned in a different thread that you cannot download Flash without deleting Internet Explorer. That should not be necessary. Anyway, your "More System Details" shows that you have Flash 12 installed, so you shouldn't need to reinstall it unless we determine that it is really broken.
    When on the problem site, do you see a notification icon to the left of the address, up in the address bar? It would look like a piece of Lego. Could you click that and see whether it indicates anything about the status of Flash, or any other plugin?

    Accepting the EULA is not done during the installation, but when Adobe Reader is launched for the first time.  That's what you need to do (not the browser plugin, but the actual Reader program).

    If you just download them then they are in your download folder or where ever you specified for them to be saved to. Now you need to install them.

    Please find  Download/Installation Steps for Adobe Captivate 8 ( For Windows Platform )
    Open the link mention below in any Web Browser say Internet Explorer

    Sign in with your Adobe id and  Password, then you will be redirected to download Web Page of Captivate 8.
    Do not click on Download. Kindly let that window open as it is.

    Once you run the .exe, it will start extracting the .7z file and will provide Captivate 8 folder on your desktop which will contain setup.exe. Run this setup.exe to install Captivate 8.

    ok so I've now downloaded the latest BBsoftware for MAC, gone through all the steps as required, had my computer restart, and when it opens all it does is spin the little coloured "I'm thinking" wheel, forever!

    I had the same problem yesterday when I downloaded the latest update for Desktop Software for Mac.  As soon as I tried to open the updated program, all I got was the spinning wheel and "program not responding."  After restarting several times, with the same issue, I got on here looking for help (not an easy task) and ended up in some other forum... not even sure where that was now lol.  But I sent and email, and got a response today - yay!  The Help response was not only very prompt, but very helpful.  
    It turns out, that update I (and I'm thinking we) unwittingly downloaded is the Windows version, so it is incompatible.
    This is the response I got.  I did follow these instructions and everything is working now.
