Im totally disappointed with apple i want my money back

this morning i had a fight with apple suport, i just bought this macbook 2 months ago, and now its dead, and they told me to take my laptop to an apple store and somebody will repair my macbook in there, but im real far away from the nearest apple store and i cant take my macbook  to that place, so i request if somebody can come to my place and pick my laptop but neither the apple support or the apple store cant  pick it up, because "they dont have that service they cant come to my adress and pick my laptop" now the only thing i have to do is sit and wait until that service its availabe
i really cant go there cause i work and study and i practicaly dont have time to that place.
im totally disappointed with the service and with the computers, i never thought the hardware would be so s hi itty

You must have got someone new at support. I called on a Friday with an issue, FedEx was here on Monday morning with a box to send the unit back in for service and on Wednesday morning it was back to me all repaired--at no cost, I might add. Just call back or use the online Express Lane support.

  • I am totally disappointed with iTunes Match.

    I have been informed that I am totally disappointed with the operation of iTunesMatch. I use almost all Apple products and never had as many problems as I havewith iTunes Match.
    On my iPhone EVERY time I'll use the iPod.app almost no album covers, andALWAYS have to load them again. Even spending data to get the covers, arescattered in several songs from the album without cover.
    Another problem I'm having is that whenever you post a song to play the iPhoneiPod.app need to access the internet again I do not know what! So if the Internet is slow iPhone Do not start playing, it takes several seconds to start playing a song that's on the iPhone. Before the iPod did not have to play the songs using the cloud, right now the music being on the iPhone it needs to access the internet forfree to start playing. This is absurd!
    Another thing that is happening because of this crap Match iTunes is that I can no longer hear the shuffle all songs that are on my iPhone! If I send random playmode, the iPod.app picks the songs that are in the cloud and starts playing, but immediately stop playing because you have to do is download the music. It wasimpossible to use the iPod.app to hear music. Or is everything on the iPhone and listen to those problems mentioned above or you do not hear and is waiting to download music that I do not want to hear, because the random songs that are putin iCloud from the list.
    I am totally disappointed with the service of garbage that Apple released.

    ITines Match is a pile of useless rubbish. It crashes constantly, fails to complete tasks, goes back to square one, freezes computers and utterly fails to work. Piece of sh1t Apple!

    I've purchased an Apple computer two years ago, I liked Apple so much because I saw they care their customers more than Microsoft, Apple even set Genius Bar and phone support for any technical problem, which I though if I have any problems, I can find customer services easily. So, when thepeople who worked in Apple asked me if I wanted to purchase a printer in promotion with my iBookG4, which was free after I mail my rebate, I purchased it as they told.
    However, the problem came! I've waited for my rebate for half year, which was supposed to be three months. Therefore, I called apple for the promotion inquiry, they told me to mail my information again, and so I did. And I waited for another three months, they told me they mailed it to me already, but I never received it. Therefore, I do as they told- wait for another month and they'll mail my rebate to me again. Then, another month came, but I did not received my rebate! And during this two years, I kept calling for my rebate, and they said they will mail it to me, but I never ever received it! I felt like I got deceived! And last time I called, they told me the promotion is closed, but they'll still mail it to me. But again! they didn't! I tried to find anyone who can help me, I went to the retail store, I mail to a costomer service line, but they never ever helped me! My rebate was just a $100 dollar, but seems like Apple is not responsible and do not care about their customers, therefore, I told this to all my friends, and recommend them not to buy Apple.
    Apple owe me $100!
    My friend told me that Apple is not being responsible, they are lying to me that they mailed my rebate to me. It is because they should first file a lost track on the check that should be mail to me, and then mail my rebate back to me after they file it!
    I am so disappointed with Apple, and I'll recommend me and my friends, and try to declare to all the forums we should never purchase anything from Apple because they are not responsible for their costumers!
    I'll never stop declaring to the people that Apple is being not responsible until Apple is being responsible and would give me my rebate back!

    This is, of course, the wrong place for your gripe. There is nothing we can do about it. There is a legal presumption that a letter mailed is received, but it is rebuttable. Letters can get lost or extremely delayed, I had a postcard take six months from Denver to New York City. Go to Apple and insist that that you never got your check. What really counts is was it cashed. Insist that they check that.

  • Is anyone else significantly disappointed with Apple TV?

    I bought it on the basis that I could stream TV from my iPad - various 'on demand' services in the UK allow you to watch it on your ipad but don't allow it to be broadcast to another device.  Whilst I appreciate that suppliers of 'on demand' services could allow 'mirroring' I am significantly disappointed with Apple because they know that they only provide mirroring of Apple products (this is far from clear on any of the product descriptions), but most significantly they do not provide equivalent Applications for the Apple TV (probably because they only way that anyone can watch those programmes is to buy them through the Apple store!). 

    That is incorrect, mirroring is available for all content. It is the developers of said apps that can choose to block it (there are only a few who have though).
    Basic airplay is different as it is strictly for audio/video streams, but the developer has to enable the video for it to pass through.
    The blockage can be due to licensing but you would have to contact those providers for an official answer.
    Native apps require an agreement from both parties, there could be any number of reasons for them not being available.
    In any case, ranting is not permitted here. If you have a technical issue that needs assistance then someone can help with that.

    Still it could not find the data network.it searches for voice network instantly and works too. but even full voice network available, there is no data network.when i restart the phone it could find data network.
    Already i reset network settings for two times.

    I have authorized my sisters computer to play movies/songs that I have purchased using my account. However some of the movies won't even pull up in itunes. when I log into my account and try to download them i get a message.."if you download past purchases with your apple ID you can not auto download or download purchases with a different apple ID for 90 days" ... What is the point in being able to authorize 5 computers to your account if it doesn't work ... HELP, I am totally frustrated with apple and it's many products

    If you redownload your past purchases on that computer then you will tie that computer to your account for 90 days : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627 - your sister won't be able to use iTunes Match, automatic downloads, or redownload her purchases until the 90 days have completed. I believe that it's an attempt to try and stop people sharing purchases.

    You need to use the CHAT link in support to reach Adobe staff. Be sure you know the product name you are trying to cancel, Adobe have lots of products, several converters etc. I think it is ExportPDF you have, most likely.

  • Bought a rip-off App that stalks your activity, want my money back but they blocked me!

    Alright guys!
    My problem is that I bought this app called iTeleport VNC. Basically what it does is show your Mac screen on your iPhone. I thought this should be fun and so I decided to buy it for € 3,99 (it seems to be for sale for € 17,99 now, probably I was lucky and it was discounted — thank god!).
    So I downloaded the app to my iPhone, I downloaded the other one to my Mac and tried to make it run.
    The first very mysterious thing is that is starts asking your Gmail address and password. It says it needs them because all of this runs over Google Talk servers. I find this quite strange because why would they need my email address and its password for this? All they need is the server IP, password and port numbers or something like that. I gave in a fake Gmail address that I had made some time ago and continued.
    This is all during installation by the way.
    Then a window pops up that asks you if you want to enable screen sharing. I don't think I want to share my screen, do I? If you click no, it will not work because a message will pop up and tell you that the app couldn't find screen sharing and that it will try again in 10 seconds (and it goes on like that…).
    It also said that if I click yes, I will be able to disable it later again. So I thought "alright, let's click yes and then let's disable it". Unfortunately there is no option to disable it in the settings.
    I don't understand why it needs all that stuff like email passwords, etc. I have another app which allowed me to control iTunes over my iPhone and I think it works a similar way. Not exactly the same of course, but kind of. And it doesn't ask any passwords or such a thing.
    To me this seems like they're just trying to collect private data. I don't want them to see my screen and I don't want them to know my Gmail password. But you have to do this in order to make the app run.
    After a while I finally was able to make it run. There seemed to be 2 modes: one, where you will see the logic screen of your Mac on your iPhone. The other one requires you to enter the password to your computer in the App, so it always redirects you to your desktop automatically. Basically it skips the login window. But I preferred to type the password in the login window. Unfortunately this wasn't possible because you weren't able to type anything in that field.
    And that's where I decided to stop using this app and deleted it.
    It didn't say any of that in the App description, which I think it should. Some people don't want to "register" to their service my giving away their personal information, this should definitely be mentioned.
    So obviously I wanted my money back… because I find it wrong, it's not what was written in the description.
    I went to the iTunes store (inside of iTunes), then clicked the little arrow in the top right corner beside my email address, clicked on "Account" and then you will find a link to your purchase history.
    There's a button to report a problem, and that's what I did. I selected the app, reported the problem and wrote basically what I wrote abobe. There was also a drop-down menu which asked you in which category this goes. Unfortunately I selected something like "This app doesn't work the way it should" and that's how iTunes blocked me from reporting it again. Because after I submit my request, a message came and told me that Apple isn't responsible on how 3rd party apps work. No they aren't, but they're responsible for what they put in their store and they need to make sure it works and that it's not against people's privacy.
    So now I can't report it again because when I try this it tells me I have already reported a problem for this app (or that the problem is too old, which isn't the case. Plus, how can the problem be too old? I think it's meant to be something like I bought the app too long ago. Fail!).
    The big questions now is, does anyone know how I can get my € 3,99 back?
    Do you believe I should contact the people who made this app? But what should I say?

    I Paid good money for iPhoto on my iPad. Now because Apple has released IOS 8 iPhoto no longer works. Don't bother saying it's not supported, it worked fine in IOS 7 so your IOS 8 is at fault. If you can't make an operating system that works with your own apps what hope do you have of keeping faith with youR customers. I want my money back for the IPhoto pro app I paid for.     Apps are written for a specific operating system. iOS 8 is a completely redesigned operating system and the image processing parts of the system have been replaced by different frameworks.
    Have a look at what has changed in iOS 8. http://www.apple.com/ios/developer/
    The basic frameworks, that support image editing apps and any graphics apps have been completely replaced by newer frameworks, for example PhotoKit. Also, the Photos.app and its library are very different, with the Camera Roll being replaced by the "Recent Activity" album.
    iPhoto used the older version of "Photos" to access all photos on the device and did not store them separately. The code would have needed to be completely rewritten. Probably, Apple did not want to develop iPhoto a second time, in addition to the new "Photos", but is relying on the third party developers to supplement Photos with extensions:
    PhotoKit
    Developers can enable their photo apps to edit photos directly in the Camera Roll without having to import them first.
    Photo Editing
    Developers can embed their filters and editing tools directly into the Photos app. So you could apply third‑party effects to images without leaving the app where you view your photos.
