Im trying to download itunes and it just says thank you and no downlaod comes up please help
I had to re download itunes and i am on apple website but when i choose download it just says thank you for downloading and no download occurs does anyone know why?
What worked for me was to clear the browser cache and then try downloading again. Also, give it some time to download. I noticed that when the file was finally downloading, I still got the "thank you for having downloaded" page, even though the download was nowhere near complete yet.
(It didn't help to try downloading on IE instead of Firefox. Got the same "thank you" message on IE even though nothing was downloaded. I double-checked my downloads folder and I'm sure nothing was downloaded)

It sounds like you need to log in as the administrator to update the iTunes application properly.

I am trying to download iTunes but it keeps saying I have to verify that I have sufficient privileges to start system services. I have downloaded iTunes without a problem before, and I'm the only user on my computer so I obviously have suffucient privileges.

Tried to upgrade and it keeps saying thank you for downloading but its not there!
I had my iphone 4 stolen so just got the 4s tonight. I tried to open itunes and it says I needed to install new version. When I hit "install" the box goes away and nothing happens. I have gone to Apple site and tried to download from there and it says Thank you for downloadng after I hit install but nothing ever happened. have tried troubleshooting by uninstalling iTunes and all components and tried to re-install but same thing happens and it is not showing anywhere. Can someone please help? I have spent hours on this already and I am gtting nowhere! Thx!
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer? -

This is a Microsoft Windows Issue.

Can't download iTunes keeps taking me to thank you page.
I had a problem with updating ipad2. When connected to IMac iTunes told me I had connected an iPad in recovery mode and needed to restore. Tried to restore and it wouldn't connect to ipadsoftware update server. After speakingg to apple uk I connected iPad to another computer and eventually was able to restore iPad. Apple uk also suggested removing and reinstalling iTunes on iMac. So I removed it. However when I tried to download iTunes it takes me straight to the thank you for downloading page without downloading iTunes. Would appreciate any advice or suggestions.

Snow Leopard is a paid upgrade, so you can't get it in Software Update.
First, check if your computer is supported > http://support.apple.com/kb/sp575 Then, buy Snow Leopard > http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
After that, make a Time Machine backup and/or a clone with Carbon Copy Cloner, insert the DVD and upgrade. The DVD will upgrade Mac OS X to 10.6.3, so open Apple menu > Software Update, and install 10.6.8. You may need to run Software Update again in order to install iTunes 11 -
I am unable to download iTunes to my computer. It uses a genuine edition of Windows 7 and I use Google Chrome but once it has downloaded and I click to run it comes up with 'package cannot be verified'. I also tried to download through Internet Explorer but I got the same result. Thank you for any help.

I just got a blackberry tablet and I am trying to get itunes downloaded...
iTunes only runs on Windows and Mac OS. And that's the desktop versions, there are no Mobile versions of iTunes aside from the iTunes Store on iOS, which is an application specific for iOS devices.
If you are running a mobile OS, then you will not be able to download iTunes -
When i click on the download itunes 7.0 it just says thank you but...

I found that this works if anyone actually is reading this:
1.go to control panel and click on add/remove hardware
2.find the itunes symbol that is coming out the box and hit [change]
3.click the one that says repair missing files and let it run its course
if that doesnt work for you then if you ever get it running then dont have that album scrolly thing at the top on it makes mine run way better
though every once in awhile it freezes for me so i still wont the frickn thing fixed -

Yes. You can't update or restore any GSM iPhone without a valid sim card installed in the phone. The sim card need not be activated, but it must be valid & present. If you want to update, you need to get a sim card. -

Assuming this is not the first time you have used your Apple TV
You might try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Also try restarting the router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
If the problem persists, try a restore, you may want to try the previous procedures several times before doing this.
If restoring from the Apple TV doesn't help, try restoring from iTunes using a USB cable.
If this is a new Apple TV, in addition to trying the above, it may also be that your network router is not allowing access to the timeserver, check that your router allows access over port 123. -
Hi everyone.
I had an itunes account for my classic and a few months ago wanted to add my daughters ipod to it. it told me when i pluged hers in 2 ipods could not use the same account and asked me if i wanted it to link her ipod and delete the current libary. like a fool i said yes. now i have a party comming up and cant plug my classic in without it saying if i sync it will wipe my 6000 songs and leave me with the new blank itunes that i have just set up.
what i want to do is add my 6000 songs to a new apple id libary/itunes without it wiping all my songs. does anyone know how to do this.

This is not true. You have misunderstood.
You can sync as many ipods/iphones/ipads as you like to one one library. -
