Im trying to download itunes on my laptop and it wouldnt download what can i do?
Do you have at least service pack 2 on the machine? iTunes minimum requirements is SP2+ for XP

I downloaded iTunes onto my laptop and was getting an Apple Application Support error so I downloaded that and now I'm getting a Procedure Entry Point and Error 7 (Windows Error 127) messages. I have no clue how to go about fixing whatever the problem is...can anyone help me?

AVCFAssetCreatWithByteStreamAndOptions could not be located in the dynamic link library AVFoundationCF.dll.
Taken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7,now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "Apple Application Support" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "Apple Application Support", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
If no joy after that, try the more rigorous uninstall/reinstall procedure from the following post. (If you've got XP, although the procedure is for Vista and 7, just read "Computer" as "My Computer", read "Uninstall a program control panel" as "Add or Remove programs control panel" and assume the system is 32-bit, and you'll be doing the right things.)

From your OLD computer...
Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..

When you connect ipod nano to your computer (using the standard usb cord), open itunes if it doesn't open automatically. You should see your ipod tab in the upper right corner of i-tunes. Click on that, and click on music. At the bottom of that screen, click Sync Ipod, and it will begin syncing all i-tunes music.

I have a laptop which I use away from home and would like to download itunes so if i download something on my laptop, i can transfer it to my iPad straight away without having to transfer the music to my main computer. How can i have my library on my laptop itunes like i have on my main computer? is this a possibility?
These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
Note if you have failed to move contacts and calendar items across you should create one dummy entry of each in your new profile and iTunes should merge the existing data from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library or a backup then then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.

HT1923 I'm trying to uninstall iTunes on my laptop and am following the Apple instructions.
I kept getting an error when I tried to open my iTunes it said to uninstall and reinstall. So I've gone to this Apple site and tried to do as directed but I can't uninstall Step 3 - Apple Mobile Device Support. I have a Dell laptop and am running Windows 7. How can I get this done?

Why don't they have a world map in photos anymore
