ERROR Displyed is : "cannot connect to dl120.duckload.com:80" and "permission denied. check your Firewall settings and ensure IDM has permits to access internet"
But i have disabled Windows firewall and i dont have Antivirus.. Plz help me...

See if the "stable" version released on 30 June is compatible with Firefox 5.0. That page doesn't mention which versions of Firefox it is compatible with, a serious oversight, IMO.

Plus, it looks like that developer hasn't updated his AMO page in over a year, which makes it impossible for users of that add-on to get automatic updates as each new version of Firefox is released.

Before this happened, I was having a problem for about a month where Firefox wouldn't close. I'd close the browser window, and later when I tried to reopen it to connect to the Internet, I 'd get a msg saying that Firefox is already running, and I must close the current window before opening a new one. I'd have to restart my computer at this point.
I don't know if this is related to why I can no longer use Firefox at all.

The "Platform version incompatible" error message can be caused by a problem with the installation of Firefox. Remove your current installation of Firefox and re-install.
# Delete all the files and folders inside the Firefox installation directory - C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\
# Download the latest installer from [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/ Mozilla] and install it.
Doing the above will not remove your bookmarks, passwords etc, since they are stored in a separate folder.
If after re-installing you get the "already running" error, see [[Firefox is already running but is not responding]].

However, FF's home page says 'unfortunately the latest version of FF is not compatible'. But when I look at the requirements it seems that mine should fit. You probably have not seen anyone reporting the exact same problem as you. All three crash reports have the same crash signature and as currently ranked 67 it is not the commonest of reasons for a crash.
I hope you enter your email contact information when reporting crashes. I note you see this crash when using videos, others may possibly see this crash in other circumstances.
You have already tried the obvious, attempts at a fix so it is now down to wait and see, maybe developers working on the bug will report something or fix it.
Did you try my suggestion of installing portable ESR ?

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

I have let it load until NFCU asks me if I want to cancel the session, a much to long of a load time. Has anyone else reported having this issue with NFCU or Mozilla Firefox 3.6.18?

Using Firefox version 29.0 and want tabs below toolbars. Any ideas?

I am one of those users who prefer the tabs below the toolbars. In version 29.0 there does not appear to be any solution to getting them there. I have searched all the menu bars and gone the route of changing browser.tabs.tabsontop to false. Nothing has worked so far and I'd hate to load an older version of Firefox just for tabs. Has anyone else used version 29.0 and solved this dilemma successfully?

For around 4 years now I have had to train and show many hundreds of people how to make forefox work properly with addon features like Tab mix plus and how to put there tabs below so they could improve there work productivity becouse they just didnt know any better way existed. You are getting this message because you are attempting to create an iCloud account on a PC. Can you try Firefox in [[Safe Mode | Safe Mode]] to see if the problem goes away. I'm thinking it's an extension.
