wat does this error code means?
do this has anything to do with software upgrade to 1.1??

Hi pching.
Have you reset the SMC? This is responsible for controlling the power on/off and more besides. Look at the link below if you haven't already.
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303446
If this doesn't help, contact your nearest Apple Service Center with those details tomorrow, and they will know what the error refers to.

  • Time Capsule unexpectedly reboots.

Over the past year I have been experiencing random unexpected reboots of my Time Capsule.   There is no rhyme or reason why or when it is occurring.  It can happen every other day or it can happen once a month.  However, lately it is happening more often.  Are other people experiencing the following?
I believe the reboots started occurring after the 7.6.4 firmware update released on 8/13/2013 which is the latest for my 4th Gen Time Capsule.  I set up remote syslog from all my Airport devices using the old version of Airport Utility on my old iMac but never found the "silver bullet" in the logs.  With the upgrade to Yosemite, it seems like the frequency of unexpected reboots has increased and my syslog configuration got blown away on the Mac I was using as the syslog server.
I'm wildly guessing now this is a result of more uses of IPv6 beyond device discovery which is how the current version of the Airport Utility finds Airport devices.  However, it doesn't always work correctly as the screen capture below shows.  And switching to "Local-Link Only" per http://support.apple.com/en-us/TS4597 doesn't solve the issue.
It is also possible that malformed packets are coming in from my ISP and my Time Capsule which is directly connected via Ethernet can't handle it and reboots.  (I have no other router in the mix.)  I have no way of determining that since Apple deprecated logging in Airport Utility version 6.XXX.
I have contacted Apple Support.  They have no idea why the Airport Utility device discovery doesn't work all the time and their only suggestion for my Time Capsule was doing a hard reset which I have done but it failed to solve the problem.  Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated.  Or any advise on configuring ASL which is Apple's replacement for syslog.

Thanks .. your picture has displayed.. it has a Yosemite look to it.. and there is mDNS responder issues with it.
See OS X: How to disable Bonjour service advertising without disabling DNS - Apple Support
I can tell you what you are seeing is something I see nearly everyday.. The wretched airport utility v6 is a toybox version utility for toyland.
I am sticking to older OS and can simultaneously run v5 airport utility which.. surprise surprise.. has no issues whatsoever discovering the network.
Your APE-Office appears to be wired.. is that the case??
The only one that doesn't have issues is my office airport express that is so old that it isn't even supported by 7.6 or the current version of airport utility.
If it is wired that will keep it out of the wireless repeater voodoo graveyard.
So what are your concerns about 7.6.4?
My experience is that extend wireless works poorly.. as in he chose... poorly.. see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ubw5N8iVDHI
I have a temporary wireless extend from downstairs to upstairs.. using a Gen4TC downstairs.. and a gen4AE upstairs.
When I change the firmware to 7.6.4 the link is poor and often drops out.. when I take both of them back to 7.6.1 it works properly again.. I can reproduce this over and over.. downgrade works great.. upgrade which accidentally happens now and then.. the whole thing turns to rubbish.
In a v5 utility I can see the wireless links and track them.. It is easy to see the link from each device.. (I repair these things so I have no less than 3 or 4 running at one time).
But 7.6.4 has lots of other issues like port forwarding and wan port controls also giving issues. It is buggy but not many people seem to hit the issue I guess.
the Gen4 TC has a nasty issue where it dies.. the whole series was poor to begin with lasting only about 18months before power supplies gave out.. ran too hot.. apple fixed that in later ones but I would not recommend keeping them beyond 3 years.. as with most domestic level electronics goods now running 24/7, the effective lifetime is 3years.. (and 1 day to get beyond warranty claims) ..
    See https://sites.google.com/site/lapastenague/a-deconstruction-of-routers-and-modem s/apple-time-capsule-repair

  • My iMac crashes and reboots 9/10 times when Iog off an account. I looked at the Console for a log but I am not sure what I am looking for. What is the best way to try to find what is causing this?

    Hello,
I have an issue where my iMac crashes and reboots 9/10 times when I log my wife's account off. I'd like to get it resolved as it is very annoying. We switch between accounts all the time and everytime it crashes I lose a bunch of info from my account. Can anyone help me understand how to fix this issue?
After the reboot a window tells me that my system has recovered from a seriour issue (sounds much like Window$ to me...) and a crash report is show:

If you think getting your web pages to appear OK in all the major browsers is tricky then dealing with email clients is way worse. There are so many of them.
If you want to bulk email yourself, there are apps for it and their templates will work in most cases...

This one will create the form, database and send out the emails...

The alternative is to use a marketing service if your business can justify the cost. Their templates are tested in all the common email clients...

  • Can I leave an iMac running without rebooting for an extended period?

A month ago I bought a new iMac to replace an old one, which I used for Logic Pro and as a home media server -- it ran great for years (mostly Plex with a few scripts running through the day and night).
I had a few issues with the new iMac hanging and rebooting into safe mode by itself, so I took it back to the Apple Store and chatted with an Apple Genius. He ran some diagnostics and found no hardware issues, and so he did a fresh install of OS X.
One bit of advice he gave me was to make sure that I reboot the machine at least weekly.
I used to be a System Engineer at Sun Microsystems. When we ran our systems as servers we rarely rebooted them, often leaving them for months, and in some cases years. So it was a bit of a surprise that he recommended this.
He suggested this was so fsck could run to keep the file system clean.
Am I right in thinking that the iMac shouldn't need rebooting that often to keep it running well, and it certainly shouldn't cause it to hang or crash the whole OS? Any thoughts or experiences welcome.

It doesn't need to be rebooted every if it's maintained correctly. Many have theirs on for weeks and months only restarting when required to install software.

  • Windows Server 2003 R2 32bit keeps unexpectedly rebooting - System Stop Failure

    Good morning all,
I am currently having a very difficult time with my servers running Windows Server 2003 R2 32Bit SP2. I have had this server running over night last night and to come in this morning to find it has rebooted 4 times due to unexpected reboots. I have applied
the latest hotfix to this server but nothing has worked. This is a unknown server as its my companys branded. its got a 13 slot PCI backplane with a processor card running a i7 2600K with 4GB RAM. The processor card is called a ROBO-8780. I have got 5 HDD's
first 2 is RAID 1 which hold the OS and last 3 is RAID 5 which holds the data.
I am getting loads of different problems aswell on different servers where on a freshly build OS of Windows Server 2003 R2 32Bit SP2, its rebooting on the Windows splash screen, can sometimes get into safe mode but very rarely.
If you need any more information, please let me know, any help is appreciated!
    Thanks

    Hi,
Could you offer us  the system log record information,Please do the following action then monitor again.
    1. Run Windows Update and make sure you have the latest patches and service packs installed
    2. Check so your server have the latest drivers installed from the manufacturer homepage. If not, please update your drivers, firmware and BIOS
    3. Uninstall any Antivirus.
    Hope this helps.

  • Why does my iMac using Lion reboot immediately after shutdown?

I shut down every night, and for the past several nights my iMac immediately reboots. The only way to solve this is to press the power switch, but if I do that the iMac doesn't reboot the next morning at the time scheduled in the Energy Saver system preference.
    Why?

I would reinstall Lion, preferably from scratch if possible.
Reinstalling Lion Without the Installer and Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alterhatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You can also re-download the Lion installer by opening the App Store application. Hold down the OPTION key and click on the Purchases icon in the toolbar. You should now see an active Install button to the right of your Lion purchase entry. There are situations in which this will not work. For example, if you are already booted into the Lion you originally purchased with your Apple ID or if an instance of the Lion installer is located anywhere on your computer.

  • 2008 iMac hung after reboot.  Recently installed Mountain Lion.

My 2008 iMac will not reboot after freezing.  I had recently added additional RAM to get to 6GB prior to upgrading to Mountain Lion.  Everything was fine for two days.  However, yesterday Bluetooth was dropped and not showing as being avaialable (managed to fix that).  This morning it froze and will not reboot.  I am getting the grey screen of death even after trying to reboot in safe mode.
I have also tried an SMC reset with no luck.
    Any suggestions?

For what it's worth a situation very similar to yours happened to my 2007 iMac last Saturday. Thanks to Time Machine I was able to erase my hard drive then restore it from a back up. However in no time flat, after I'd opened a few apps, it crashed again. When I attempted another restore it crashed *during* it (grey screen of death!) and I had to conclude my iMac's hard drive had died.
I've since heard, from both an Apple Store Genius and the techies who replaced my busted drive, that an iMac's hard drive lifespan is often around 3 years.
Maybe your hard drive has died?
    Good luck! It's very frustrating.

  • IPhone 5 unexpected reboot

My iPhone 5 with latest software version seems to unexpectedly reboot when plugged in.  Help?

try and restore it once more by keeping it in DFU mode...here is how to do
    Entering DFU Mode (Official Instructions)
Plug your device into your computer.
    Turn off the device.
Hold the Power button for 3 seconds
Hold the Home button without releasing the Power button for 10 seconds
Release the Power Button but keep holding the Home button
Keep holding the Home button until you are alerted by iTunes saying that it has detected a device in Recovery Mode
Make sure the device screen is blank and no logos are present
    Exiting DFU Mode
Hold Home and Power Button till the Apple Logo appears
...it is said that sometimes it takes some 3-4 attempts before it works successfully...
if u need anything else then reply...happy to help....

  • Exchange 2013 Unexpected reboot by MSExchangeHMWorker

I have an Exchange 2013 server installed and noticed that the server unexpectedly rebooted itself. It created a dump file and within the dump file it states that it was caused be the MSExchangeHMWorker.
I know that Exchange 2013 has the Managed Availabilty concept and will attempt to "fix" itself if there is an issue however I would like to know why or what prompted exchange to do this so i don't have this in the future.  Is there any known
logs that records why this happened?  I am not seeing anything in the event logs.
    Thanks

  • Unexpected reboots - MSI 760GM-P23

    Hi,
I've just purchased a brand new gaming PC with the following specs:
    - Amd Athlon X3 450 3.20 Ghz
    - MB MSI 760GM-P23
    - Club3d Radeon HD 7770
    - Onboard - 5.1 HD surround
    - 8GB Intern memory 1333Mhz
    - 500GB HDD
    - Onboard power supply Corsair CX 430M
OS: Win 7 professional 64 bit
Issue: When I'm playing a game (Assassin's Creed 2,3, Battflefield 3, etc) - all games which should run smoothly on this box -
after 3-4 hours I get an unexpected reboot. Have updated all graphics drivers and BIOS but still the problem persists.
There's no problem with power issue, have tried it on another electricity group which didn't solve the problem.
At the moment I'm thinking that the temperature might be the culprit. Have left the box open yesterday and placed a
ventilator next to it and I could play all day without a reboot.
CPU ventilator is working normally. Ventilator on the Graphics card is running on 20%, will try to increase that percentage
to see if it brings anything.
Does anyone has seen this issue before or can anyone give me some tips what might be the issue here ? Once: again: this is a brand
    new Gaming-PC !
Thanks for any help, information to track down this annoying problem
    Dimitry

The issue can have different sources like:
    Overheating
    PSU problem
Memory issues [typically BSOD or lockup, but sometimes can cause unexpected reboots too]

Thank you for your suggestion, unfortunately powering off/on did not resolve my frozen screen issue.  However, at the advice of Apple Support I powered off my iMac, then powered back on in Safe-M
ode (hold shift key down as you turn the machine on).  This allowed me to get back to my desktop. Then I restarted the machine in normal mode and I'm back in business.

  • Unexpected reboot

At this time all our Azure VM's are rebooting.  Even machines in the same availability set.
    What's going on?  Region W-Europe.

I got an answer from support regarding the unexpected reboots. As an example only 3VMs are given for investigation:
Could you tell me how many VM’s where affected in general or was is just us?
No, it was not just your servers, there were several other incidents reported for the same issue.
    Is this platform issue fixed?
Yes, the platform issue has been fixed and rolled out in Azure data centers.
As you can see the DB3 range are in the same availability set. They should not be on the same Physical host node is it not?
Yes, the 3 servers are not on the same host node. Unfortunately, the host nodes of all these 3 VM’s got rebooted.
Cause: issue in Azure. It is fixed now.
