Imac aluminum foot_ 24" & 27" the same?

I've been trying to find a replacement foot for my 27" imac that I recently took off of a vesa mount. I really like the way you could adjust the angle of the monitor with the aluminum foot. Does anyone know if the 24" foot is the same as the 27"?

The different year model 27" iMac stands all have different part #s, so I guessing that they are all different.
For 27" stands, check out the following links.

Nothing personal to you or Rajshee, but this is exactly why I absolutely despise these "community forums" (not just Adobe but any company).  I called the Tech Support phone line today after digging and digging for a phone number, and they told me the exact opposite, and they did it a lot faster than it was possible to get a forum response.  (That's really not personal, because you can't control that, but it's a fact.)
Their answer: As long as I'm signed in with the same ID, I can try, say, Photoshop CC on my iMac at home and also try Acrobat Pro CC on my Windows 7 machine at work.  Same account, same login, one trial.
This makes complete sense to me as I'm financially on the hook (potentially) for the same package.  If I give away my login to someone else, which I wouldn't do, I'm still on the hook.  This is why the cloud approach to software is such genius and I applaud it.
BTW, 99% of the "community forum" wrong answers come on Microsoft sites, so don't feel bad.

I bought a bluetooth Bose speaker so I could listen to music from my imac in multiple rooms at the same time. I wanted to use BOTH my existing speakers using the headphone jack and add additional bluetooth speakers in other rooms, but the imac wants me to pick one or the other, is there a way to have both?

  • Why can I send email from my iPad, but my iMac which is connected to the same modem keeps telling me that it can't send the message using the same server?

I have an iPad 2, connecting via Wifi to an Actiontec Q1000 modem.  The iMac (3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB 1067 MHz RAM, running OS 10.8.2) is also hard wired to the same modem.  Internet access is via CenturyLink.  Main email is from Shaw cable in Calgary (Phoenix is a vacation property), not through CenturyLink.
Can receive email on the iMac, but every time I try to send, I get a pop up saying "Cannot send message using the server .......".  Further prompts me to verify the address in the email, and SMTP settings in Mail preferences, or to select a different outgoing mail server.  I've tried using a number of servers, always the same result.
Using same settings in both devices.

Mail is not my forte, but what I noticed was that you have Centurylink and presumably have your Mail set up with their settings? But then you mention Shaw/vacation property/etc - you can send out email only through the server that you have set up as an account using the ISP you are using. If you switch places, do you have separate accounts set up with both Centurylink and Shaw so you can switch and use whichever one you're at? A Phoenix ISP won't work with a Mail POP account unless you're in your home - Phoenix - area.
Do you have a data plan with your iPad? That would explain why that works - it'll function sort of like a cellphone - works anywhere where there are signals.

  • How do I listen to music on my iMac and Bose Soundlink at the same time???

I just bought a Bose Soundlink Color. However I can only listen to either the iMac or the soundlink. Not both at the same time. Can you do this and if you can how do I fix it. Thanks for any help.

Use the multiple speakers option from the AirPlay menu.

  • Can you sync ibooks from an iMac to MacBook Air with the same apple id?

Can you sync ibooks from an iMac to a macbook air with the same apple id?  Settings set to allow this.

If the ibooks were purchased from Apple, and download new purchases is selected in iBooks preferences, then yes.

  • 24" iMac glass, is it all the same?

I have been looking into ordering a replacement glass panel for my 24" early 2009 iMac. I have noticed that most of the vendors selling the glass list it as being compatible with Mid 2007 & Early 2008. Glass listed as being specifically for the Early 2009 seems to be much less plentiful and somewhat more expensive. Just based on what I see in the pictures, all the glass seems to be the same, as far as pin location is concerned. So, would I be okay ordering any 24" glass?

    Hi juggalette8!
Actually, probably the best thing to do in this kind of situation would be to just download the latest version of iTunes (7.1.1), and not stay at a previous version (like 4.7), which requires a standalone iPod Updater to be installed, as well.
With iTunes 7, you don't need a separate iPod Updater anymore - the restoring and iPod-firmware-updating features are now integrated right into iTunes, with no need for anything else.
To download the latest version of iTunes, go here:
    Download iTunes - 7.1.1.5

  • 30" Cinema and 24" IMac displays won't display the same color

I have a 30" Cinema Display on my Mac Pro and I am using a 24" iMac. I calibrated both monitors with Eye-one-Match3. I am using the same color profiles in Corel Painter and Photoshop and I am still getting different color values in my file. On the iMac the colors seem a bit darker and more saturated than on my Apple Cinema Display. How can that be?
    Any help would be appreciated

Sounds like a video card issue.

  • IMac and Windows Laptop on the Same Wi-Fi Network?

First I just wanted to thank all those who replied to my previous (and first ever) post advising on the best way to set up a wireless home netwrok to share a DSL connection.
In the end I decided against buying an Apple AirPort base station, and bought a third party modem-router-wireless access point (a Speedtouch 580).
I set the 580 up to send the internet conncetion out on the Wi-Fi network, and was able to connect my Windows laptop (with a Speedtouch 110g wirelss card) to the Wi-Fi network and gain internet access no problem! I never thought it could be that easy, so was ecstatic! I even managed to have my Centrino laptop connect to the network and share the internet connection.
Then it came to my iMac G5 (I have AirPort Extreme built in). I turned the airport on and scanned for networks. When I first found my network I couldn't connect, so changed the router's security to WEP from WPA. Now, I still don't know how my iMac connected to the Wi-Fi network, but when I came back to it after having walked away in despair, it was simply connected!
My problem now is that I don't seem to be able to connect both a Windows PC and my Mac to the Wi-Fi network at the same time. Why might this be?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

connect both a Windows PC and my Mac to the Wi-Fi
network at the same time. Why might this be?
You have not configured your wireless router correctly.
Without seeing the configuration it is very difficult to ascertain what the specific problem might be.
    Reset the router and re-configure.
You need to configure your router to share a single IP address (NAT) in order to use your DSL connection with more than one client.

  • Can you pair with an iMac and an iPad at the same time?

If you have an iMac and an iPad, is it possible to pair the same Apple Wireless Keyboard with both of them, rather than having to buy two Wireless Keyboards?

I've kind of found an answer to my question, but I'm not totally satisfied. Basically, yes, you can use one Apple Wireless Keyboard with an iMac and iPad, but obviously not at the same time.
To switch the Apple Wireless Keyboard over from working with the iMac to working with the iPad, you first have to "Disconnect" the keyboard in System Preferences > Bluetooth. This frees up the keyboard, making it available for the iPad to access.

  • I need to install cc on two macs. My Macbook Pro and my Imac. Can I use the same account?

I have two machines I use. One primarily for photography on the move and another for mostly Indesign work. Question is can I use the same account on both as it will never be simultaneous.

  • Using an IMac and a G4 with the same keyboard

I have an IMac Intel and a G4 that I use in Classic mode. Is it possible to connect one keyboard (through a hub, possibly) so that I can use it on both computers. The computers are connected to each other so that I can use files from either. but now I have to physically move to a separate keyboard and I don't have the space for two.

Apple Store has a 6 ft. listed as:
"Belkin 6ft A to B USB Cable" @ (yikes!) $16.95 - [Apple Part Number: T6898LL/A] but even that looks inexpensive next to Belkin's own:
    http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=18076
Yes, it would act to extend the length - same concept as an electric ext. cord.
Obviously you wouldn't want to buy one, much less two, unless it was absolutely necessary, as you could almost buy a new computer desk for that much and set your Macs closer together. I've noticed a couple sell on eBay for about $5 plus shipping, but there shouldn't be many listings offering them. It seemed like a handy idea until I found the list price:(
My idea was it would be easy enough that you wouldn't even have to get up from your chair to change. Of course, there are less expensive computer equipment stores somewhere, and I myself bought a opened pkg from a Micro Center "sale" bin for only $4.95.

  • Get warning on Imac that another computer with the same IP-adress is active in my network ??

i do have  an Imac, MacBook Pro, apple tv, Ipad and 2 Iphones just in my private house
Next neighbor is 200 meters away. Please advice me !?

It is one of your other devices that are connecting through your Router. Your Router is only using a single IP address.
Your Router is using  192.168.1.1       However the very last two numbers can and will vary from the .1.1  this is nothing to be concerned about.  If all of your stuff is working then there is no reason for concern.
