Imac doesn't show display half of the time.

Sometimes when I boot my G5 1.6ghz iMac up It starts up fine. Most of the time however I get the chime but no display. Today for example I have tried to boot it up probably 30 times, but now after the 31st the display flashed gray and everything loaded like normal.
I had been doing alot of reading from these forums and other sources and inspected my capacitors or whatever they are called on my logic board but they don't seem to be swollen or miscolored or anything. Is there something I can do to fix this problem because everything seems to be running fine other than the display not always working properly.

No. The Hardware Test is on the system DVD that originally came w/your computer. You can get replacement System Install & Restore CD/DVDs from Apple's Customer Support - in the US, (800) 767-2775 - for a nominal S&H fee. You'll need to have the model and/or serial number of your Mac available.

Firefox doesn't show/display/load my addressbook within my hotmail account anymore, it worked previously well, so has nothing to do with the change from hotmail to outlook. Since a week or so, I realized a slowness in loading my recently used addresses with opening a new e-mail, but it was still working from time to time. For a few days, it has been stopped working, complete addressbook doesn't load anymore, just displays the load circle in the middle of the screen, apart from that I have only a white page. Cache and Cookies already emptied/deleted, result is the same. No settings have been changed, but have the same issue with Internet Explorer, but it's working with Chrome. Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You have some (major) issues.
Are you in Recovery Mode ? Used Option key or Command R to get there?
I would grab the ML installer ESD you saved and do a clean install on another drive and begin to rebuild to a new system.
You may or may not have TimeMachine but have backed up problem files.
Having a bootable backup clone of your system is a must.
Hard shutdowns will add more layers of problems and add to whatever there was before.
Generally there is not a need to use Disk Utility other than to repair permissions either before or after installing updates.
Have you:
tried with everything else unplugged so you don't have any external devices
tried with a safe boot
Why.
After any forced shutdown you should use ML Recovery and one Safe Boot on the first next boot from a working system.

Ipad2 show only half of the google Australia logo?

My ipad2 started to show only half of the google logo (top part is blank white).It's only happened in google Australia search.I reset and restore software,still the same problem.

It properly the nature of the chip-set back then it an old broad , the manual said can support lot of Ram up to 4 or 8 Gig. of memory but it hard to get or find those amount of RAM back then . Mine broad only see less than 2 Gig out of 4 but Windows 8.1 ..64 bit still install fine go figure.

I have the iPhone 4s, after updating to 6.0 it doesn't show in iTunes for the wireless sync. My iPad which is first gen. still shows up. If I plugin with usb it shows up but as soon as I unplug it disappears.
When I click on the sync wireless on the iPhone , it trys to sync but nothing.

it's okay, it is not silly. but yes it was on but i went ahead and turned it, (the phone) off rebooted and turned it back on and rebooted phone again to see if it helps it any.... but to no it did not change, it still doesn't show up. as well as when i look in on wifi and see choose network mine is not populated until after a couple seconds. so it has something to do with not being able to hold on to a wifi signal when going to sleep or putting phone to sleep via power button. i do not see the wifi signal meter until a couple seconds after i wake it up from sleep. and now neither my ipad or iphone show up in itunes. so there is issues i guess with something. i have tried everything an dam too frustrated to do anything more.

It's not a "Reset" (except for the Reset of the iPod and possibly powering off the computer). It's meant to be a test to see if there might be interference between connected USB devices, or if the total power draw of all connected USB devices is too high for your computer's USB bus. If it always works when the iPod is the only connected device, but only sometimes works when you connect it with other devices, it may be one of those issues. When it works, the set of connected (or active) devices is OK.
If this is the case, you can go through a process of elimination to determine which device or combination of (active) devices causes the problem. NOTE: If one of your devices is an external hard drive that gets power from the USB port, power draw may be higher if it is currently active (spinning). Also, the power draw of the iPod may be higher when it is charging its battery and/or syncing.
Or are saying that the connected USB devices does not seem to matter, but doing a computer shut down always makes the iPod connect immediately after startup, but then the problem returns later?

NoSquint useless half of the time

Ever since I downloaded the new and "improved" version of Firefox 4, my web pages and their content display in tiny font.
I never had this problem with the older version of Firefox and I didn't need a plugin. It's pretty frustrating when so-called "improvements" end up making things worse and the solution doesn't seem to be of much help.
Anyways, I've browsed these forums and found out that you now have to install a plugin or add-on or whatever they're called to permanently zoom all web pages to the desired level of zoom. Well, I installed NoSquint and it only works half of the time.
I set the Global Settings to 120% of full page zoom level and 105% of font zoom level. When I go to my homepage - Yahoo - it shows up in the correct size the way I wanted it. But then I log into my email account and everything is tiny again. I look down on the add-on bar and the magnifying glass shows the page at 100%. Then I click on the magnifying glass and the page changes to 120% like I had it set in the Global Settings. This happens with other pages as well.
What's the point of a "Global Setting" if I have to manually click on the stupid magnifying glass just to get the page to display properly? As you can tell by my writing, I'm frustrated. I want the old, common sense, easy-to-use Mozilla back.

The very first thing to try is resetting the preferences. Quit the editor, then restart it while holding down ctrl+shift+alt (command+shift+option on a mac). Keep the keys down till you see a window asking if you want to delete the settings file. You do.
Incidentally, it's best not to keep starting multiple threads on the same subject.

Installing WINDOWS - 7 WITH secondary display enabled from the time of installation

We have MINI ITX motherboard, This board supports multiple display option VGA, LVDS..For this configuration we prefer only LVDS.
Currently, we are migrating from LINUX to WINDOWS,Initial installation process does not have any hicups.
However, when the installtion completes and ask for a reboot. The system by default switches to VGA and there is no display on lVDS.
For this we have to connect an VGA display and complete the rest of the installation and set "Duplicate Desktop on Projector" to get the LVDS back.
We definitely do not require any VGA interference during the installation process. Need some guidance fro enabling /CLONE display mode from the time of installation.

Because of window doesn't embed LVDS driver, that's why LVDS device doesn't work during system installation. You do need to connect another VGA device to complete the installation.
Another considerable workaround method you can try is that build a Windows image that embed LVDS driver, then use this new image to install Windows 7.
On the other hand, you can try to install LVDS driver during WinPE phrase, put the driver on other drive or USB drive, then press SHIFT+F10, navigate to the location and install the driver for test. I do have no condition make a test for you, but you
can have a try by yourself.

This can be caused by a number of issues.
Was everything working and then suddenly stopped??
Or is this a new clean setup and has never worked.
Do you have a cable modem which is not a router and the TC setup in bridge? That will cause it. The TC must be in router mode, ie dhcp and nat.
Check the IP the MBP gets including dns and gateway..
Then check the ipad/iphone.. post what IP dns and gateway (router in applespeak) they get.
