Imac is no longer able to open the Configuration file

Hi ,
I have an imac ( ilamp) 20' connected to ADSL, via Netopia Router which is connected to the Airport extreme connected to imac, for the PB Aluminum Tiger 10.4.5. we both can connect. PB can print via imac/printer.
The imac is no longer able to open the Configuration file, when i enter the pswd which is correct, i get the message "The Airport Admin. Utility was unable to read the configuration of the selected base station an error occurred while reading the configuration "
My Beau updated Airport to V5.7, this is the first time since the update I've tried to access the conf. file for the imac which i have done numerous times prior.
I have a new base station Ip address 254.128.0 in Airport Utility Admin, on the imac which does not reflect my network settings anywhere, and is not what it use to be, i think, it was one value different than the PB.Base station IP. I do not know how it changed neither one of us changed it.
I tried using the Airport Setup assistant (imac), I received this message:
"Appropriate Airport hardware was bot found on this computer,if you recently
Installed, an Airport card,please shut down your computer$ make sure the card is properly istalled."
The imac does not have a card, nor do i think it needs one.
I would like to be able to at least open the configuration file.

I made an error on my first post I have a Netopia modem, Airport router.
And so it remains, i guess that there must be an easy answer somewhere
that I am missing that I/we should read, some direction to that would be helpful, and I would be very appreciative.
As I said the password had been set, and it is not an issue of that being forgotten, i wondered if it was changed back to "public" tried, not it.
particular because everytime the imac wakes one of the folders on ( no one else in office just me and boyfriend and it is his work folder he has a copy on the PB.( the folder on desk top has been clicked on, the one with sensitve info, i have backed the folder up and secure trashed it, just in case some security issue hacking has taken place, thats closing the barn door after the fact.

Lightroom has no problem reading DNG files. Whether the edits you have done to the DNGs you have originally edited in Photoshop Elements 10 I'm not sure. ACR edits made to DNGs are saved in the DNG file itself, as apposed to a XMP sidecar file, so LR should see those edits. At the worst you will get an exclamation mark in the upper right hand corner of the imported DNGs and clicking on that exclamation mark you will get a dialog box asking you to either import settings from disk or overwrite settings. you would select import settings from disk.

Using Illustrator CS and being able to open the same file on two machines!

Don't know if anybody can help?
I have been using macs for many years and now we have moved over to windows!
We are using a server (not sure which type? NT?) and we have found that with the Mac you could not have two users in the same file but with Windows I can be in an Illustrator file and a colleague can also open the same file - no error message comes up or anything! We can then both do changes in that file and the last to save has the updated file.
Can we do anything so you get a error message for the second user?
Any ideas?

this does not make sense? Its the SAME version of Illustrator as that was on the Mac but when working on the PC you can both be in the file. On the Mac you get an error message saying the file is already open and you cannot access it.
This must be a Windows issue or a Server issue as the problem is not on the Mac?

I am not able to open the.json file when I try to save my bookmarks.

JSON files aren't meant to be opened directly. When you back up your bookmarks, the JSON file that is created can be used to restore that backup or to move your bookmarks to another computer. You do that by opening the Library window ("Show all bookmarks"), clicking on "Import and Backup -> '''Restore'''" option and choosing that backup file. See this article for details:

Once I install Downloadhelper, I am no longer able to open the Downloads window (Command-J) or the show all history window.

I am using Firefox 7.0.1 on Mac 10.7.2, my downloads window and my show all history window would not open. After trying everything, I had to remove all my firefox information from the computer and reinstall then make a new profile with the profile manager. That fixed it but when I re-installed download helper the problem occurred again. I repeated this to make sure it was download helper.

I located the problem and it is not Downloadhelper. When I open firefox on my second monitor (I use an imac and a second monitor for dual screen) I can no longer see my downloads window.

After reloading CS4 back onto the same Comp I am no longer able to open any RAW files

Heya,
So decided since I was having some performance issues with CS4, that I would try reloading it all again back onto my system. So after it completed I open bridge and all of a sudden all my RAW photos cannot be seen as a preview tab. I click on them to open and I get a message in PSD saying that the format is not supported. Any ideas what might be going on?

Not able to open the existing PDF files from Content Server in VL02N

Hi All,
In Delivery transaction VL02N, we are not able to open the PDF file attachments which were created in the Past (Ex. 01/01/2014) from the Content Server. Recently upgraded to Enhancement Pack 7 and not sure whether the issue is due to this upgrade.

How do I stop more than one user opening the same file?

I'm about to install Lion Server and we're concerned that more than one person will be able to open the same file at the same time. Can this be prevented? If not it seems to make the concept of a server pointless?
Any help appreciated. Already annoyed I have to phone and order 10.7 Server as it's no longer on the App Store. Can't run 10.8 as the Mac Pro is too old and Apple have cut us off.

The file server software supports file locking, but multiple file access is application-dependent. In some cases it's entirely valid for multiple users to access the same file. It's up to the application to allow or deny this.
Ordinarily, if an application requires exclusive access it should flag the file accordingly when it opens the file. This will prevent other users from opening the file. However, it's not up to the server to do this.

Frame won't open a file, but will open the MIF file. Has anyone seen this?

With FM 9, I have a 2-page landscape file. The first page is Adobe Illustrator *.ai art. The second page is text with a couple of JPGs. I was able to open the *.fm file for a long time, and then Frame started complaining and crashing. A friend can open it on her machine (64 bit, Windows 7) and made me a MIF file from it. I can open the MIF file just fine, but not the *.fm file. All art is imported by reference. Any ideas what is going on? My machine is 32 bit, Windows XP.

Most likely you are attempting to open a Numbers file created with the ner version using the previous version of Numbers.
Use the latest version (3.x) to open that file. You can tell them apart quickly by observing the icon in the dock (I actually keep both in my dock so I know which one I am using):

Can't open the Zipped file

I am making a zip file using GZIPOutputStream. But I am not able to open the zip file that is created using win zip.The size of the zipped file is 81 KB and the input file is 3,245 KB.I have closed all the streams still I am not able to figure out the problem.Any idea where I am going wrong ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Now I can atleast open the zip file. But the problem is the size of the file is 0 kb. Probably because, I am not populating the Zip entry. Can u pls let me know how do I do that.
