I can not send any mail to some one, which the send button will not work on my computer? HELP

Please use the Apple Mail Can receive email, but not send email advice letter. This should help you troubleshoot and find the problem. Just follow the directions systematically in the letter.

I can not send text messages

this is a new problem on my g4. all of a sudden I can not send text messages when i am in my home. this happens on my s4 and my sons s4 but my daughter uses an iphone and she is not having this problem. i can receive texts, facebook, email etc I just can not send texts. Nothing in my house has changed except that Comcast just put in a new modem, I am not tech savvy at all so not even sure that would affect my out going texts
any suggestions would be great

every since updated my iPad to latest software I can not send text messages to people with non Apple phones. When I type their name in it turns red. How do I fix it?

N8 Mail for Exchange (can not send mails)

Hi guys,
I just got my new Nokia N8. I already setup Mail for Exchange via IMAP to sync the mails, contacts and the calendar of my private mailbox.
Everything runs alright. But I can not send mails via Mail for Exchange. If I push on "New Mail" the program say the command can not be executed and breaks down.
Does someone know how to fix that problem?

Hi,
I also had problems with unable to send emails.
I was getting error messages in the Mail for Exchange (MfE) log files such as
Setting DISK FULL status to false
Error occurred during sending mail. Setting status to waiting for reconnect
HTTP failure while sending messages.
I figured out a work around. The problem seemed to be with the certificate.
I ended up deleting the certificate and then only selecting "Accept this time only" which made everything work.
I am using a Nokia 5800.
To delete a certificate goto
Setting > Phone > Phone mgmt > Security > Certificate Management > Trusted site certificates
find the offending certificate and delete it.
The next time I tried to synchronize my emails with Mail for Exchange, I was asked to select whether to accept the certificate... press the option button.
Then select "accept this time only".
After doing that, the emails in the outbox were sent properly.
I have to figure out how to get this to work permanently, but for the moment it was a quick fix.

Why can I download Gmail to my mac's mail - but I can not send? I have followed all instructions I can find but it still won't send. Any thoughts?

I have a strong desire to use the native apps on my Mac for mail and calendar - but my new position is using Gmail.

Are there any error messages to give us a clue?
There is no 'issue', millions of people use Gmail with a Mac, they send mail so the 'issue' is with your machine so we'll concentrate on that. Post the SMTP settings that are in use for this account, post the authentication method as well, tell me whether you have activated Google's '2 Factor' authentication method if you have.

E mail. I can not send email to a contact from my list. When I hit their email address, the new message box comes up but the send icon is not highlighted and I can not send it. Why? How do I fix it. Happens on both I pad Air 2 and I Phone 5

Mail 3.3 can not send mail

I am currently using mail 3.3 and am having some trouble connecting to the out going mail servers on my pop accounts. I can read mail but not send. One pop account is a bellsouth.net account and the other i am trying to connect to is my campus email at valdosta.edu. I have tried changing ports based on suggestions i found in other threads i have also tried changing the prefix of my server name from Mail.Bellsouth.net to stmp.bellsouth.net. In connection doctor i keep "could not connect to this STMP Server. Check your network connection and that you entered the correct account information in the account preferences. Also verify that the server can connect on port 465."
Any idea on what to do?

Mail and SSl can not send email

I am having a problem with sending mail in 10.7.3 and mail 5.2
The email account is a pop3 account. It worked fine for a long time.Last week it started to fail to send outgoing emails
I have deleted the account and added it back. Also have deleted the outgoing mail server.(when you delete a mail account it doesn' automaticly
delete the out going mail server)
I have another computer with the same email account and it works fine
Finally I unchecked use SSL and The account can now send emails.
User name and password are set correctly.
I talked to apple and they are blaming it on Frontier.
I have read other posts here about ssl problems with 10.7.2 and Imap accounts

MQ Request - Reply : can not send reply message

Hi,
I have two MQs defined REQUEST_MQ_NAME.RQT and REPLY_MQ_NAME.RPY.
I am trying to use : Get Message from MQ and Send Reply/Reports - Synchronous
I am able to recieve the message from request MQ but while sending the reply I get this error on the EM console.
Error Message:

I checked the Queue and was successful in putting messages through a MQExplorer.
I see this in the log:

I can not send a message

When sending a message says there is no actual recipient

That sounds strange. As far as I know, you should only receive an error message about no valid recipient when the contact/number is faulty. Could you try to add your own phone number to see if the same behaviour appear?

I use FIREFOX as my browser. I use AOL as my e-mail. I can not send an e-mail with an attachment.

I have the same issue and I'm trying to access the link provided for the AOL Community Support. I was able to type my question, but it keeps asking me to provide my date of birth, gender, and my name (for verification purposes). After filling out that little box multiple times, my question has still not been posted to the forum. Also, I was able to use Google Chrome to send email attachments through AOL with no problems.

TMobile in the U. S. is not a supported iPhone carrier. Not all iPhone features work as expected. Contact TMobile to make sure your account is properly provisioned.

Can not send mail, but do receive mail at a different location

I am on my way to college now and while staying at a hotel I can connect to the internet using the hotel high speed wired connection at the room. When I try sending mail using my MacBookPro mail application, I can not send any mail, but can however receive email. It keeps giving me error messages regarding the server for outgoing mail.

Mail Help has some articles devoted to sending problems, e.g. I can't send email or I can't send email because the connection to the server on port 25 timed out. You may want to take a look at them in case there is something there that applies to you.
