Hello, if those Question marks are in the Dock, it means OSX can't find them either.
Right click on the Q mark & choose Remove from Dock, might be Roght click or click, then Options>Remove from dock on later OSX versions.
Sometimes you can just drag it of the Dock, or CMD +drag it off.

have you tried to sync your ipod ,when you click on the side where it shows your ipod?
Click on where it shows your ipod name for example garys ipod,when it opens up the summary page click the sync box,bottom right,and see if that helps.
In the summary page click on podcasts,click the box on sync podcast box (top),read before when the box opens and says are you sure you want sync podcasts.,theres a box underneath,which says automatically include ,make sure thats ticked.

This seems to have fixed the issue: on your desktop, hold down the [OPT] key and click on "Go" in the menu bar; holding down the [OPT] click on Library, find Preferences, and then delete all the files that start with "com.apple.itunes.XXXX.plist" where the "XXX" is whatever other things may exist - as long as they end in "plist". From my experience, preference files are rebuilt by the system after the next restart, so you have very little worry of losing any important data; the worst that could happen )and NOT in this instance, but for other plist files) is that you may have to reset the application "preferences" again when you next start it up, to act or appear in a "preferred" customized way for you.
Once you delete the .plist files, empty the Trash, and either log out or restart the computer. Once you're back up and operational, start iTunes and your iDevices should reappear in the sidebar (if that's open) and/or at the top of the screen (if that view is enabled).

Why all of a sudden are my images missing and have question marks
Hi Guys,
Really irritating thing has started to happen when I use pages. I start my document as usual, drag and drop images into it then save. When I try to resave it complains of not being able to save the document. I then save as another file name, try to reopen and all my images are now boxes with question marks on them. I havent moved any folders or anything. Its only recently started doing this. I'm on Pages 4.1.
Can anyone help me please?

Some even provide basic information to help resolve their own issues. Some are like the Korean lady who asked me to set up a Korean DTP system for her years ago. It was obvious that she wasn't giving me all the disks necessary for the Korean installion, grudgingly I dragged them out of her one by one.

Ok, I was hoping it would be simple. Next to try are Plugins, Permissions, and Fonts.
If you have no third party Font managers, or plugins, this might be easier. Then you would repair permissions and check your system fonts.

About uninstalling and reinstalling: I use the CS Cleaner tool after I uninstall to get rid of anything that the uninstall missed before I reinstall.

I have the IPHONE 5C and am having trouble with the app Nike + IPOD. I go to timed workouts and select 20 minutes and the select playlist and it give me the workout section to start my timed workout. It will say walk around to activate your sensor. Well, I walked 20 minutes last nigth & it it still was telling me to activate my sensor. I was able to still enjoy listening to the music I have on this phone, but frustrated with this silly voice telling me to walk around to activate my sensor.
Have anyone out there had this frustrating problem.??I used to use an iPod Touch and the sensor on my non-Nike running shoes. I bought a little key pouch that fastened to my laces and stuck it in there. It worked find.
However, with an iPhone, you don't need a sensor. Download the Nike+ Running app from the App Store (or Runmeter or Endomondo or Runtastic). The phone has built in GPS and an accelerometer. It doesn't need the foot sensor like the iPod Touch. You can use any shoes you want. Or no shoes! -
This problem has only occured since installing 4.01 today so I don not think my system is at fault
Well, that's pretty made my decision final. I'm ditching firefox for good. The only reason I was willing to use it at all, was because of Ad block. I already tried uninstalling, disabling add ons, like I mentioned previously. The whole proceeding with Firefox safe mode thing sounds like way too much trouble than it's worth. Since I already have Safari Browser, that came with my Macbook, and I need Chrome Browser for using Blogger, I'm uninstalling Firefox and I'll just use those two. Chrome Browser annoys me enough of the time that I don't want to use it as my primary browser. Safari is fairly good though, especially if I only use it occasionally, that means if runs very quickly. Thanks for the advice. It's too bad. When I started using Firefox about 4 years ago, I loved it. Now it drives me absolutely crazy. I'll just start gathering all my passwords that are stored in Firefox and then uninstall it.

hi alan i run a business on ebay selling photos and negs. i recently installed yosemite and it locked my entire library on iphoto. when i try to download the app to free it from ishop it tells me there is a fault with the app and my iphoto is frozen. i am basically out of work and finding it very hard to find someone who can help me unlock it.. look at the things being said about this yosemite locking this.....freezing that... be very careful if you need your business for your livelyhood. the actual performance is really good.....better display ...much faster and well presented but is it worth having parts of your compy put out of action i possibly think not. i am new to this community so hopefully someone reading this may be able to advise us both.....paul

It turned out that WD is the big bad guy in this game.
According the data rescue company where I asked for an inspection, both of the drives had their reader head loose. And in the one, which was my already-in-use disk its even damaged the platters... xxxxx
So its time to pay bunch of money to recover, and take a walk to wd service to bang on the desk.
Also note - it may be somehow related to intellispeed technology - since macs not really friendly with wd-s built-in solutions.
On the other hand, with WD GP 1Tb there is no problems at all for ages.

If you can locate a 10.5.8 DVD you would simply put it in and install. However Apple hasn't sold Leopard in years, if your machine can run Snow Leopard, Apple still does sell it from the online store. Simply buy it and follow the instructions that come with it. However before you upgrade to any version of OS X make sure you have a sound backup system in place. IMHO I would recommend using either SuperDuper or Carbon Copy Cloner with an external HD and create a bootable clone. If you don't know the link to the online store here is the one for the US store:
Make sure your system also has at least the minimum specifications to run SL.

You would have to purchase a retail Leopard installer DVD. Since they are difficult to find you may need to search on eBay, Amazon.com, and Google to find a suitable copy.

Recently my IMac with osx 10.4.11 has been running extremely slow. It takes forever for Safari to switch screens. You can hear the computer constantly working. To the point where I have tried restarting.I have run Sophos antivirus software and have found nothing. Any suggestions?
First remove the antivirus software, it's possible that could be part of your problem! Slow Mac's can be caused by many different issues, including failing HD's, a HD that is too full (OS X really likes to have about 10-15% of the HD available), insufficient RAM, etc..
