IMAC seems not compatible with Road Runner. Can send, not reply or send
Started having problems with RR on IMAC/Leopard. RR says it is a MAC problem. Can receive but not reply or send, so I have to go to webmail, wasting time. Is it better to use Mac Mail? Would that solve the problem?
This is a known issue with road runner e-mail and the mac mail app. Seeing as the mac mail app works just fine with any other e-mail provider, logically the issue is with road runner's e-mail service.
In my experience, Road Runner is severely lacking in Mac support. When I used to use them (I recently switched to FiOS), any time I would call support due to an outage, I was always told that "our internet doesn't work with macs" or "the problem is that you have a mac. You need to call Apple for support."
At any rate, if you want to use mac mail, I would suggest getting a new e-mail provider, such as Gmail.

According to a random website... the HTC Wildfire S uses a Qualcomm MSM7225 processor. This processor unfortunately does not support the full ARM version 7 instruction set, so Firefox cannot run on it.

highlight the file and go to iTune menu ADVANCED and select create iPad or AppleTV version.

The IE Tab extension for Windows versions of Firefox doesn't ''add'' IE to Firefox, it uses the version of IE that is already installed. IE isn't made for Mac any longer, so there's no way that a version of IE Tab can be made for Mac platforms. -

After "upgrading" to new firefox none of my bookmarks are in new bookmarks help topics tell me how to import from another browser but not from previous version of firefox. Another problem is my anti virus ( most up to date) is apparently not compatible with 4.0 liked the old firefox would never have "upgraded" had I known my anti virus wouldn't work. Can I get old version backCheck with Kaspersky as to what versions of Firefox their programs are compatible with. It is up to Kaspersky to keep their stuff up to date as Mozilla releases new versions of Firefox. And if they are unwilling or incapable of doing it, they should inform their customers of such and maybe refund their customers instead of stringing them along.

Actually there are two things I use a lot that are not compatible with Firefox 5. I did switch to it and discovered the big problem, so I had to go back to my previous Firefox. One of them that I use constantly for my passwords is Roboform -- I don't remember which one but one of the most recent. I get a box in the middle of my computer about once an hour saying that I should switch to Firefox 5. It is driving me CRAZY. How can I make it stop?
Also, who has to make Roboform and Firefox 5 compatible?Every add-on developer is responsible for updating their add-on as Mozilla releases new versions of Firefox. Check with Roboform for an update for their Firefox add-on.

ACR has worked with every 4.0 extension that I have tried it with on Firefox 5.0 - but there may be some add-ons where it won't work, and the add-on has to actually be modified by the original developer. -

Unfortunately for what I do for a living I can't use a mac, cannot WAIT till they do become compatible or I just switch professions!
I have adobe 7Pro because I MUST create PDF documents for my business, however when my laptop crashed for the 3rd time in less than a year and I was NOT about to pay HP $400 to reboot it, instead I had fun and smashed it (like in Office Space) and went out and bought a new Sony Vaio. This laptop is nice and all however now ALL new computers come with Gates newest form of a rip off, VISTA, which had so many issues they release a new update for it every day and professional companies wouldn't touch it, so they FORCED it on us small business owners and personal computer users, such CRAP! (If you notice all large corporations use XP, there is no Vista for large corps, there's a reason for that...
The people that do NOT have the $ to keep upgrading and paying for FIX ITS online from some unknown who has figured a work around are forced to use this crap!!! I'm BEYOND anoyed... ANYWHO I am installing my adobe 7pro and every time I open it I get asked to "ACTIVATE AGAIN" so I call in to get a NEW Activation code and a minute later it does it AGAIN... SOOO, I get Tech support and the IDIOT in India literally READS to me the following statements:
"Adobe 7 is not compatible with Vista"
I tell him, that's a lie because my friend uses it on vista.
He proceeds to READ to me "If you are not satisfied with that answer, then acrobat no longer supports Adobe 7". WTF?!?!? If I am not SATISFIED with that answer!??! aparantly he was NOT supposed to read THAT part!!! Laughing I proceed to tell him to piss off and hang up on him because I am SOOO tired of all these damn AMERICAN companies outsourcing their customer service to some 3rd world country where they pay these people $5 a week and have them just read from a ******* script for your problems, that is NOT technical support, that's BULL CRAP! IPhone not compatible with device - when it's not connected to anything
When travelling, I use my iPhone as my alarm clock. So I put it on Airplane Mode so it doesn't buzz when e-mails or calls come in. Last night, it was on Airplane Mode, wifi was off and so was Bluetooth. It wasn't plugged into anything.
Early this morning, I was half asleep but noticed it got brighter in the room. The phone had lit up. It had an error message: "This device is not compatible with the iPhone" (or some similar). I think that's strange, because the iPhone wasn't connected to anything.
Later on, I turned off Airplane Mode and got ready for work. I got the error message again - but still, it wasn't connected to anything (and still no wifi or Blutooth, both turned off).
It wasn't the normal incompatible error message I've seen when actually connecting the phone to a device, the one that asks if you want to go into Airplane Mode.
Anyone experienced this before? I did a reset once, and it did it one more time (this time with the longer error about switching to Airplane Mode), but hasn't done it since then.the same thing happened to me, my iphone was in my pocket when i was at the movies and my drink had been dripping from condensation onto that pocket, when i got out my pants were wet in that spot and my iphone was wet. I showed that message too but when it dried out it stopped doing that.

It's doing it again - Verizon Centro Versamail not working with Road Runner
This seems to be a bout a once a month thing. My centro fails every time it tries to retrive email from my Road Runner account, I post here and it mysteriously starts working again. Well, I am getting the same error so let's post and see if the techs pick up on it and fix the issue.

Not tried it myself, but I've read on here that you'll need to phone the Apple Store to get a redemption code that will then allow you to buy it.

There are parts of the CMS that don't work with Firefox 6. They do in IE and Chrome but I much prefer Firefox. Until they get their CMS updated to work with version 6, I need to go back to 5. And I can't undo the upgrade because I have a new laptop and the only options to load were Firefox 6 or Firefox 3.6
