Try pulling down the spill level and reducing the spill tint. You're probably going to have to tweak the color selection manually.

my iphone 4 screen turns into blue, and i can't do anything because my power button is broken. How to fix my iphone back? Please help me

I am having the SAME exact problem! Except instead of lock button broken it's my home button so I can't do the whole "put in recovery mode" deal. My screen only says "tap the home button 3 times" and it has my screen locked until I hit the home button but since it is broken I can't get in my phone at all. I have all of my work info in my phone so I'm screwed and can't get any help. PLEASE let me know if you find a way around this...!!!
    Thanks!

  • Imac's screen turn into blue screen

I bought my iMac @ July 2008, the imac running just fine.....but some how since last month, my mac will suddenly turn into blue screen for couple seconds then turn it back to normal ....
I tried to format the iMac , Blue screen problem still access .....
Can some one tell me what should I do to fix this problem ???

HI Brian and Welcome to Apple Discussions ...
You tried to reformat the iMac without success? Did you boot from the restore disk and verify the disk for errors first? If not...
Restart your Mac while holding down the C key, pressing the power button and inserting your restore disk all at the same time. An Installer window will open, but do not proceed with any installations. Instead, from the Menu Bar, select Utilities > Disk Utility. In the Disk Utility window click First Aid, and then click Verify. If Disk Utility reports errors, click Repair. When Disk Utility is finished, from the Menu Bar, select Utilities/Startup Disk. Select MacintoshHD 10.x.x and click Restart.
To check your hard disk’s S.M.A.R.T. status: Open Disk Utility, in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder.Select the disk in the list at the left, and look at the bottom of the window for a field named “S.M.A.R.T. Status.” Make certain it says; Verified If not, there's a problem with the boot disk.
If Disk Utility reports errors it cannot fix, you have several options. You can get DiskWarrior or TechToolPro to repair the directory. The other option is to locate an Apple store or an Apple certified repair shop.
You can also use Disk Utility to check to see how much free space there is. Select MacintoshHD 10.x.x on the left of the window, then look at the bottom of the DU window. The Capacity and Available disk space will be displayed there. Never allow the free disk space to fall below 10%, 15% is better. Insufficient available space, can cause performance issues, system corruption, and possible loss of data.

If you try all these Steps and you still have issues... Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step... Be sure to make an appointment first...

  • Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection turns into blue screen while installing disc #2

I purchased a windows version of Adobe in Sep this year.
I have tried more than 4 times, but still can't install the software.
My laptop turns into blue screen and restarts itself after the system tells me to insert second disc to continue the installation process.
I had the extact same version of Adobe installed on this computer before, but I can't seem to install the software again after recovered my computer.

    Service Pack 1

    64 bits
    8GB RAM
    500GB SATA
Thank you so much and appreciated if anyone or the actual Adobe tech can solve my problem.

    Hi Mylenium,
Thank you for taking the time to read over and answer my question.
However, I don't think this is a driver issue. I actaully had the following softwares installed from the disc--- Adobe Audition CS5.5, Adobe Bridge CS5.1, Adobe Device Central CS5.5, Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit CS5.5, Adobe Extension Manager CS5.5, Adobe Media Encoder CS5.5, Adobe Pixel Bender Toolkit 2.6, Mocha for After Effects CS5.5, Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES2, Adobe Acrobat Distiller X, Adobe Content Viewer, and Adobe Widget Browser.
Before the installation process started, I chose to install everything that's on the disc.
But I can't get the softwares that I really need such as photoshop, after effect, indesign, illustrator, and so on.
Again, thank you for your help,

  • Screen Turns into Red Blocks

When viewing a published .swf demonistration the screen turns
into red blocks about 20 minutes (100slides) in. This seems to be a
random occurance as sometimes I can get all the way through the
    demonstration and sometimes not.
Has anyone else seen this before?
Might it have something to do with the size of the
demonstration and running out of memory?
    Thanks for any help.

    Hi there Kev_Stein
You can take your presentation and split it up. Just click
File > Save As and create several copies. Then pare away chunks
from each project. Then you Daisy Chain them together so that as
one ends, the next automatically begins.
I have a demo that may help.

  • The apple on the gray start-up screen turns into a circle with a slash.

My G5 has been pretty reliable for the past three (?) years. Lately it's been a bit squirrely booting up--once it went into kernel panic during boot, but powering down and restarting seemed to fix that. Lately, too, when I let the machine run and it goes to sleep I'll come back after a couple of hours to find the fan running at top speed and the machine unresponsive. Yesterday it seemed to have problems booting so I reset the PRAM and NVRAM and ran Onyx and it worked fine all day. This morning when I went to boot, I got the usual gray screen with the whirling gear. After about a minute, the apple in the center of the screen turned into a circle with a slash while the gear continued to whirl. How do I fix this?

I've subsequently tried a number of things. I reset the SMU, which didn't help until I also reset the PRAM. Computer booted normally. I rebooted from the Tiger DVD and repaired the start up disk; there were only two small errors to be fixed. The machine booted normally (and pretty quickly) for about a week before the problem resurfaced. I again went through the first two steps and got things working once more.
Lately the problem has returned. First, resetting the PRAM didn't help; only resetting the SMU worked. At the last event I needed to reset the PRAM without resetting the SMU. When I get home tonight I'll try booting from the DVD and repairing the permissions on the start up drive.
At first, I thought I'd leave it running all night, but when I got to the office in the morning the fans were running at full throttle and the machine was in a coma. All I could do was reboot--which it did, immediately going into kernel panic. I shut it down and rebooted, resetting the PRAM in the process. The computer booted and ran fine all day, although it seems slow (I did have Photoshop CS4 and Lightroom running simultaneously, but I do have 5 GB of RAM).
It's been suggested I may have a corrupt RAM chip (computer doesn't chirp at me, as I'm told it would) or, more terrifying, a processor is about to check out. I also have an ATTO SCSI card in this to run a legacy scanner. Could that be a problem?
    Any advice?

  • IBook G4 Gets only so far on StartUp then goes to blank blue screen

I've been trying to trouble shoot this, following Apples recommendations but so far, no help.
When I turned on the computer the screen was all blue with the cursor. There weren't any graphics or icons.
I inserted Software restore disk, Force Shut it down, and started it up, holding down the C button. The screen showed some progress, eg; (can't remember exact words) checking ...software, checking ....network, etc. and then it just goes all blue again.
I wanted to try the Hardware Test disc but now the Software restore disck it won't eject. Help!
I let my son use the laptop for a while and he may have downloaded a whole bunch of jpegs of cartoon art--might that be the source of the problem? I hope I don't have to take it to Apple because it's a Fall 2003 ibook, and I'm sure I'll have to pay $$$. Is it even work repairing in since it's "so old"?
    Thanks

To eject the disc, start the computer and hold the mouse key down when you hear the start up chime. The install disc should eject.
It sounds like several things may be going on here. Your son may have downloaded so many cartoons that it used up the free space on the hard drive and now there isn't enough. This could very easily happen if you have the 30GB hard drive, as it's really small. Computers will do strange things when the hard drive is too full. So that might be a problem.
The Software Restore disc is for restoring the software after you have done a clean install of the OS. It's not something you want to put into what might be a full computer. So this might have caused some problems.
If you can get the software disc out and boot off the Apple Hardware Test, by all means run it and see if anything shows up in the form of an error code. However, I suspect your problem is not hardware, but software, and that should be possible to fix without costing anything but some time and effort.
Do you have any important data on the iBook? If so, you need to try and rescue it. If you have another Mac you can use, you can use Target Disk Mode and get your data off the hard drive that way.
Once your important data has been rescued, the next thing to do would be to insert Install Disc #1 and navigate to Disk Utility. You will see two hard drive icons on the left--choose the one that names the manufacturer and go to "First Aid". Verify and repair if necessary both permissions and the disk. Repeat until both are verified.
Then you can choose to do either an erase and install or an archive and install. If the problem was a too full hard drive and all the data has been saved, you might as well do an erase and install. This option will erase everything that is on the hard drive, so you want to be sure you have saved everything you want.
You probably have the same sort of CD set that I do--3 Install Discs, 1 Apple Hardware Test, and 8 Software Restore discs. If you upgraded to Tiger, you might also have the black retail Tiger disc.
If so, you can reinstall the OS by just using the Tiger disc. If you want to save a little hard drive space, you can do a custom install and remove all the languages and printer drivers you won't need. If you are still running Panther, you can use the three Install discs that came with the iBook.
Once you have restored the OS, you can use the 8 Software Restore discs to reinstall the software that came with the iBook. If you have any other software like a later version of iPhoto, you can install that too.
This will make it like a brand new computer. You will need to set up your internet access and everything just like you did when it was new. And you will have to update all your software. It's definitely a lot of trouble, but it could well fix the problems you are having.
If you have access to an Apple Store, the genius bar could probably walk you through saving your data and how to do the erase and install. If not, please post back with more questions and we will try to help.
    Good luck!
