IMac stolen, I want (need) it BACK! Help?

my house was broken into last night. the culprits must have had a 'shopping list' coz they among other things (computer-related and photography equipment) the iMac - flat screen TV, Radio and other valuable items not touched. i bought the iMac last year as a gift for my husband. now is there anything out there that i can do to recover the computer at all. I need just things I can do to get it back. i believe he had put in his Apple ID to be able to set up iCloud, but i am not sure how far he went with completing the task. would any of this help get a lead in locating it?

Welcome to the Apple community.
If you log into iCloud.com, you will be able to see whether the computer is listed in find my phone or not.
In cases, location information can help the police to recover stolen items, however not all police forces are willing to spend the time using this information.

Get them from your PhotoStream if they are there. See:

Restore another iOS device from the backup of the iPod. See:

Extract them from the iTunes backup
Recover iPhone, iPad or iPod photos from backups with Picturescue

- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have to iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.

I downloaded something and now when I click on safari yahoo comes up instead of top sites and I really want top sites back it's easier and google as the search engine on the top bar helped a lot too!! Please answer quick need immediate HELP!!

So just to be clear, when you say "just bought" how long ago was that? Is it on this new iPhone that you had pictures, texts, etc that you want? Were you backing up to iCloud or onto iTunes?
This may not help for everything but if you go to iCloud.com and log in, are you able to find your pictures there?

Sorry for your loss but, If you didn't setup Find My iPhone BEFORE you lost your iDevice then there is no way to track it.
Change all the passwords for the accounts you were accessing on it and report the loss to your local police.

The only way to locate/disable/erase any lost/stolen iPhone is through Find My Phone or a similar app. However, this requires that Find My Phone be setup/activated, on your phone, before it was lost/stolen. You would then login at iCloud.com & try to locate it. This requires the phone be turned on & have an Internet connection. There is no other way to locate a lost/stolen iPhone. Apple can't/won't help you, nor will your carrier. Report the loss to the Police, your carrier & Insurance company. Change all of your passwords.

I tried upgrading to leopard, even bought the software and brought it home but it wouldn't let me. So i went back to apple, gave them the specifications of the machine and been told my machine is simply too old for leopard. This is incredible to me because it really isn't THAT old (i think just a little over 6 years maybe) and yet i'm left out on the curb when it comes to using newer apple products. I understand technology moves on but the mindset that i am supposed to dump a perfectly working machine after a couple of years or face not being able to use any other apple product is counter to what thought apple was about.

Downgrade Lion/Mountain Lion to Snow Leopard
1. Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer Disc. After the installer
      loads select your language and click on the Continue
      button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the
      Utilities menu.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the
      mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status
      of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then
      the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART
      info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on
      the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions
      from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS
      Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the
      partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on
      the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Quit DU and return to the installer. Install Snow Leopard.
This will erase the whole drive so be sure to backup your files if you don't have a backup already. If you have performed a TM backup using Lion be aware that you cannot restore from that backup in Snow Leopard (see below.) I suggest you make a separate backup using Carbon Copy Cloner.
If you have Snow Leopard Time Machine backups made while on Snow Leopard, then you may do a full system restore per #14 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions. If you have subsequent backups from Lion, you can restore newer items selectively, via the "Star Wars" display, per #15 there, but be careful; some Snow Leopard apps may not work with the Lion/Mountain Lion files.

Is there any way to change the feed in itunes? The only feed I have now is http://feeds.feedburner.com/CasaEgyptStation
I tried to restore the feed http://feeds.feedburner.com/imananddinasbroadcast but feedburner refused.
I know that I missed things up but I still have hope in working things out.

I need help with storage.    5 GB are free.   So iCloud sends an email that I need more.   So I purchase 20GB and now I want to downgrade back to the 5GB.   I can check the 5GB box, but no DONE button appears.   Anyone have an answer?

Can someone please explain and help me? I am unlocking an iphone4 from at&t to use it on the straight talk network. They've confirmed my request to do this and I am now a little confused as to what to do next. They want me to back up the phone using itunes on either a MAC or PC. Install iTunes on your Acer and you can back up the iPhone. Or back it up to iCloud. If you do not back it up you can get it unlocked, but you will lose all of your content.
You can get iTunes from http://www.apple.com/itunes.
Even after unlocking I'm not sure it will work on Straight Talk, because last time I checked ST used Verizon as its carrier, and an AT&T iPhone 4 is not compatible with Verizon's network. You can probably use it on Net 10 or T-Mobile once it is unlocked.
