IMac wont install new Adobe flashplayer 11.

i get notified to update my adobe. the download works fine, then during the installing part, it "fails" at 7%!!! adobes website shows nothing helpfull and im not paying $50 to apple to get nothing either. anyone else having this issue??

You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.

How do I install new Adobe flash on my notebook?

I have tried several times to download the new Adobe in order to play games on my Mac but it downloads says its complete and for me to restart safari. Then does not work. Is Adobe just not compatable with Mac?

Install new adobe flash

I have a Mac Air since 2012. Recently I get the message that I have to install/download the new Adobe Flash.
When I try this a get the sreen with name and password.
For some reason the combination doesn't work anymore.
I have signed in for a new name and password. But still it does not work?
How can I come in contact with a helpdesk?
Or what do a wrong?

If I recall correctly the gray bar could indicate that a firmware update is installing, or that the system is checking the hard drive.
I've run out of suggestion since without the Install DVD's we can't boot the system to run Disk Utility in order to verify the hard drive. It might be a good idea to give Apple a call to see if they can help you get a set of replacement install discs.
The other option is to find another working Mac and connect the two systems via a compatible Firewire cable. Once connected turn on your iMac with the issue and hold down the 't' key in order to place the iMac into the Target Disk Mode. This should allow your other Mac system to mount your iMac's hard drive as an external volume. If nothing else it would allow you to backup your important files.

Hi, you need to state you computer info, Operating system and browser and version info.
Then go to this test site and let me know if you can see the Flash logo animate(spin) and what version of Flash Player is displayed.

New Adobe Flashplayer plugin for Safari causing problems

The newest version of the Adobe Flashplayer plugin eats up 15% or more CPU constantly and requires that I ForceQuit Safari several times a day. These problems went away when I removed the Flashplayer files from Library/Plugins. Now Safari is running like before.
Anyone else notice this? Thanks.

You have deleted everything or uninstalled Edge ?
Go to Adobe Edge Peview folder and then uninstall it
If you have deleted that as well then
Download and run the Application cleaner tool ((Choose CS6 products option for Edge))

Having Trouble Installing new adobe flash player

I have tried to download the newest version a dozen times. I have uninstalled everything relating to flash player, and then I close ALL MY PROGRAMS, but for some reason, when I go to install it, I get an error message telling me that it couldn't install because an error occured, because something is using adobe or flash or whatever. Which I don't understand. It should be impossible if I've unistalled the thing! Any suggestions?

download the FP uninstaller from http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html and save it to disk;
download the plugin installer from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html and save it to disk;
close all browser windows, as well as any messenger applications, then run the downloaded uninstaller;
check C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash (if your Windows is 32-bit) or C:\Windows\syswow64\Macromed\Flash (64-bit) if there are any files left;
now run the downloaded installer.
