Image appears that is not in timeline..so where is it??

Hi - hoping someone can help...
I recorded a bunch of screenshots (and can't recreate the simulation so have to work with what I have)...
I have a slide with an image of active window (it's a background image). There is also a mouse that appears (moves & clicks) after a few seconds. When I play the slide, near the end of the slide, the image changes and appears to be the original active window now appearing as inactive and a smaller, active window that shows in front of it.
I'd like to be able to adjust the timing of when this second image appears. However, the problem is that this second image (inactive window/new active window) does not appear in my timeline anywhere. Nor is it in the library. The slide does not have any full motion recording either. I have no idea where to find this second image and I cannot see anything in the timeline or slide properties that triggers its appearance. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

@Rajeev I think you didn't well understand the question. If the 'image' is not visible on the timeline, how can it be in the Library? The OP even mentioned it explicitly that it is NOT in the Library. And if the image was used on a slide, it would never be selected with the command 'Unused items'. Sorry to be so critical but your answer is very confusing.
@ecg2000 This problem has been appearing several times on the forum: it is something captured by Captivate which happened on the slide at the end of the timeline. And although technically it is not shown as a FMR it feels a little bit like being a very short FMR within the slide. You can edit the background in an graphical application, but not sure it will help. If you can estimate 'when' it appears on the timeline (maybe insert the system variable cpInfoCurrentFrame to help), you could truncate the timeline at that location?

Viewer shows clip that's not on timeline

I have a very strange problem, which might have an easy solution, as my knowledge of FCP has gaping holes in it.. I'm editing a clip, using 2 video-tracks and 2 audiotracks to fade and overlap and stuff. In the middle of a (uncut) stretch of video, the viewer shows me a small part of video that's way before that, chronologically, and shouldn't be there at all. When I stop playing, the viewer shows the image that should be there again. When I scrub through the stretch of video, it all looks normal. When I play it again, the 'wrong' piee of video comes up again. There's no material on my second video track, and I've tried moving the stretch of video in which it occurs: same problem at the same spot. It looks like the second piece of video is stuck underneath the first and moves with it, or something. Unfortunately (and logically) the piece of wrong video shows up in the exported movie as well. Does anyone have a solution? Oh, to make things easier, I'm still using 6...

First, what format are your clips and what are your sequence settings?
Does this section require rendering? If so, is it rendered? If so, toggle on and off the clip (control-b) to see if that fixes things.
could be a corrupt sequence. Create a new sequence with the same settings, make the old timeline active, select all (command-a), copy (command-c), Make the new sequence active and paste (command-v).

Acrobat error message: The PDF document contained image masks that were not downsampled.

I'm .pfing a document from InDesign CS2, and even after I use Acrobat 8 to try to reduce the file size, the file is still about 12 mb. I 'm getting the error listed above, and wondering if that has anything to do with it.

Content streams are pages, type 3 fonts, comments (annotations), form fields and XObjects.
If you're really concerned about the file size, one trick (although not recommended since it can cause other issues such as fonts busting out, colour transformations etc) would be to open the PDF and then PRINT to the Adobe PDF printer using say STANDARD or SMALLEST FILE SIZE ... this re-fry might will remove/re-create the content streams and reduce the overall size.

CL_GUI_ALV_GRID check date and POP-up appears (that is not required)

we use class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID in a report. The list contains a date field.
If i put into this field a wrong format (example dddd instead of DD.MM.YYYY) i'll get a pop-up as an error message.
But i would like that this error message will display in the message line (lowest line of dynpro).
Another field is defined as an CHAR field and if i put a wrong value into this field the error message displayed in the lowest line of dynpro.
How can i adjust this functionality if i use the date format?

This is the Standard behavior or CL_GUI_ALV_GRID. To suppress the popup log you have to deactivate the protocol display.
pass space to the method ACTIVATE_DISPLAY_PROTOCOL( ) of class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID to suppress popup log.
DATA: o_grid TYPE REF TO cl_gui_alv_grid.
o_grid->activate_display_protocol( space ). " To deactivate Protocol display
do this in PBO.

Upload image that is not in local file system

We have an abomination of a project where we are trying to upload employee images into our main 'People' form. The only issue is that the images exist on a SQL Server database. I can get the images onto the Oracle server easily enough but the functionality does not exist to browse to a remote server, just the local machine. Has anyone had to do something like this before? If it was just a few images we could FTP them to a mapped drive and do it 1 by 1 but we are talking about 15000 images so that is not an avenue we would care to explore. Any advice would be welcome.

Black screen between every clip that does not appear on timeline, only on MOV file

I have now fixed the letterboxing issue but now have this problem (I did not have this issue before) where I get a very short black screen between each clip I put on the timeline. The black screen does not show up on the timeline, it only appears once I create the file. I'm not sure if this is affected but the fact I have an external hard drive. All my footage is stored on the hard drive and i save my Final Cut Pro file on the hard drive then upload it to YouTube. I made 2 quick short MOV files to test this theory (one made from footage on my EHD and the other from footage from my desk top) neither files had the black screen in the MOV files.

Hello Nick, thanks for the answer.
I have fully lengthened my timeline and the black gaps are not there to delete (they only appear once the file has been exported).
The issue I have (I think) is that im not sure what export settings I am meant to choose to export the footage.
My camera records in widescreen so when I place my footage onto the time line and final cut pro automatically selects the correct settings for me, this is what is chooses
This is then the export settings that are automatically in the box when I go to export
As my footage is 1920 x 1080 I would expect to be given an option with that in but these are the only options available
I am not sure if this should create the black spaces between each shot.

If the downloads are gone, it's possible that Windows is removing the downloads based on security policies set in IE. I realize that sounds strange, but it's related to Firefox's feature of submitting downloads to your virus scanner and marking them as having come from the internet.
To test this theory, you could try disabling the scan feature. I assume you have good "real time" antivirus protection which checks every file saved to your hard drive. (If not, you really should get that, and you can use Microsoft's free [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/products/security-essentials Microsoft Security Essentials] for now until you have time to review all the available choices.)
