Image as Original

Hello,
How can the image be displayed in the Item Details iview as Original and not as Thumbnail?
Best regards,
Dharmi

Hi Dharmi,
I am also just wondering where the image variant (Thumbnail, Original, or any other defined variant) in the EP Item Details iView can be defined...
Best regards,

  • Rendered html pages in results file(html) not showing the images of origina

    hi,
rendered html pages in results file(html) not showing the images of original page
when i click on rendered html pages of different html section of a results file.
both master and tested as well.
    thx

By design, the report will not show the images, will not apply imported css or javascript files and will not show framesets. Also, in the case that an image is shown there is no guarantee that that was the image that was seen when recording/playback the script.
The rendered html pages that are shown in the report only contains the structure of the html page. If an image is shown the image will be a reference to the location of the image and not a saved copy of the image as part of the report. If the website has a simple structure this can give an idea of what was different. If the website relies extensively on images, stylesheets or javascript to present the information then this report feature becomes less useful.
Few weeks ago I requested a feature request in order to be able to see in the report the page exactly as it was when recording the script and exactly as it was when the script was played back. In the way that the feature request was written it specifies the use of screen captures or saving the page as a pdf file.

  • SOLVED!!!!!!!!!Placing an Image in original login.jsp

    Hi all,
I solved the problem of placing an image in original login.jsp
Hope this will be usefull for all who will be trying to edit the original longi.jsp:
====>Place your image in the following folder:
    C:\installations\Oracle_Infra(Your oracle_home)\portal\images
you place your image some-where else it will not be displayed .....
    Hope this will be usefull!!!!
    Thanks & Regards,
    Mallikarjun

Well, you are quite right to put images in this place.
However, two points can be noted here:
    1. This works with the assumption that your portal repository is in the infra-database. in cases of customer databases, you may have other folders which would be able to run the images from a similar folder in their respective homes.
    2. Additionally, you can place your images anywhere on your servers and still have them working if you use an alias for the image folder location!
    hope that helps.

  • Reset image to original size shortcut

Does anyone know if there is a keyboard shortcut to "reset image to original size". Sometimes i have a table full of sliced images in a template and they all need reset and its a pain to click and click and click. ...Or do you know any workarounds for this kind of problem?
    Screenshot:
    thanks!

Right click on image.  Select Re-set Size from list.
Or, remove the height and width from img tags with Find & Replace.

  • Display images in original dimensions

    Hi,
I have a report that contains the blob field from the database to display the images,
All i need is to display the images in their original sizes that is if the image is big display it as big and vice versa
I tried an option of can grow but it doesn't suffice my need as it is just expanding the image vertically and not horizontally
so is there any formula or some other option to handle that ????
    Thanks.................................

  • Lost ability to view edited images alongside original in library

    Hi
Not sure what I have done but I am using lightroom 1.4. Previously, any pictures I edited would show as an edited file in the library now all that happens is the original image shows as the edited image. Does that make sense?

You mean LR 4.1, not 1.4?
Maybe your edits are now stacked with their originals?
In Library module, use menu Photo - Stacking - Expand all stacks.
Sometimes I dod not find my edits right along the originals, because I had set the sort order to "edit time" rather than "capture time", so I found them as last thumbnails. This explanation could only apply to you if you had put the sequence from z-to-a as well, because otherwise you would only see the originals, not the editied ones.

  • Exporting video results in still image with original sound background

I've tried several times to export my home movie (MOV) into smaller formats using the export function. It worked fine on QT 6 but now I'm on version 7 and it's not working. The final product is a still image of the first frame and the original recording. I've tried exporting to various formats as well with the same result. Any help out there? Thanks!!!

Would it matter if the very first file from the camera was an AVI file? I first had QT convert that file to an MOV file which plays just fine.
As long as the MOV file plays in QT, it shouldn't matter at all. In fact, placing it in a known "space" should indicate it is convertible to other target formats even if only on your system configuration.

  • Simple question - make an image the original size

Hello everyone. I have a very simple question. How do I make an image that I have inserted into a pages document display at the original image size. I have selected the image, brought up the inspector and selected the Graphic inspector but it does not seem to give you that option.
You would have thought this would be easy wouldn't you? I am seriously considering going back to microsoft office at this rate!!!

    Hello
    Don't drop Pages for that
If the picture is not at its original size a button is active.
If the picture is at its original size the same button is greyed.
If it is too simple, you may *go to "Provide Numbers Feedback" in the "Numbers" menu*, describe what you wish.
Then, cross your fingers, and wait for iWork'09

  • Right click on image "edit original" doesn't work

The option "edit original" when right-clicking on an image is not availiable. (Not even greyed out) It is greyed out in the edit menue. Indd CS3 (5.0.4)
WIn XP SP 3. I suspect that you might need Admin rights for this function, because it works perfectly when logged in as admin. Can anyone confirm my suspicion, or is there another solution?

I'm away from my computer today, so I'm working of the top of my head here...
Perhaps you've disabled that context menu command in the current workspace. Edit > Menus... and take a look.

  • CS4 images "edit original" now open as jpg instead of in Photoshop

CS4. InDesign 5.0.4. Just upgraded OS to Snow Leopard (10.6) Friday.
Now my images in InDesign  no longer open into Photoshop but open as jpgs which means I now have do extra steps of going to Photoshop, finding the image and then opening it.
How do I get back to images opening directly in Photoshop when I click on them in InDesign and then go to edit original? Thank you

Bob, we are talking about thousands of images!!
Isn't there a step in InDesign to get back to normal like on Friday? There has to be something inside InDesign that must have changed....
And you are right.... CS3. My other computer has CS4 on it.
    Thank you.

  • Extracting embedded image at original resolution

Any tips on how to extract an embedded bitmap at its original pre-embedded resolution from an AI file?

    Here's another method:
First removing any other elements or clipping paths. Select the image and in the Links pane flyout choose Placement Options and pick File Dimensions. If your image is larger than your artboard, you will have to make your artboard larger than the image.
Then to save your .ai file as a .pdf (Illustrator default = no downsampling or compression). Then open the the file in Acrobat Professional and using the Touch Up image tool to select the image and open it in Photoshop. Then you can "save as" the Photoshop file to whatever format you wish.

  • Revert/Reset placed document/image to original size?

In InDesign CS4 or CS5, can you revert/reset a placed document/image back to the origional size it was when it was origionaly placed?

Do you know what size it was when placed?
The only way I can find to be able to reset a frame to the size it was when it was created is to set the preference for "When Scaling:" to "Adjust Scaling Percentage" and then resetting to 100% will take you back to the correct size, but not necessarily the original position as this is just another transformation, not a reversion to anything. The BIG downside to this setting, in my opinion, is that if you scale a text frame, the listed font size won't change, nor will stroke weights be listed correctly on scaled objects, which can lead to a lot of head scratching.

  • How to force all images to 'Original' aspect?

I have imported a few hundred images and need them to stay as the original aspect 3456 x 5184. For some reason they have changed to 3455 x 5184 and the aspect shows as 'As Shot'. I can change the Aspect back to original for individual images but Synch Aspect does not apply to multiple images. Anyone experience this problem and have an awesome fix? I would like to avoid having to individually change the aspect on every image if possible

Why would you care if your image is 3456 or 3455 pixels? When you print your image @ 300 ppi, 1 pixels is 1/300 of an inch. So what?
Or, is your second set of numbers a typo?
