Image data corrupted & safaridomainerror error 1 messages

Hello, everytime I download something on the net (flash player, as an example) I get these messages: "image data corrupted" & "safaridomainerror error 1" messages.
I did the repair permissions thing, but no luck.
I downloaded the same files on windows 7 and copied them to an USB drive for the same results.
Thanks in advance.

I don't think so, I am able to download functional files on Windows 7. And on my MacBook I justly downloaded a mp3 file with no problems. This problem seens to be related to .dmg files.

Try booting into the Safe Mode.  Shut down the computer and then power it back up. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don't do them all at once. You can download from the Safe Mode.

  • Firefox 10.0.2 causes "image data corrupted" warning message during update try on OSX 10.7.3?

I tried to update firefox 10.0.0 to 10.0.2 on Mac Pro OSX 10.7.3 which failed with warning "Image data corrupted". Any ideas what to do?

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the disk image (dmg) file to the desktop
    *Firefox 10.0.x: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
*Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
*Install the new version that you have downloaded
Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data if you uninstall and (re)install Firefox.

  • HT5167 image data corrupted message when installing anything. Please help!!

A couple of days ago something happened and now every time I tried to install an app i receive the following mesage: (app being installed file name).dmg image data corrupt. Can anyone point me in the right direction please???

All of the posters need to take their system to an Apple Genuis bar and have whatever is wrong with them fixed.
It is either some software you have installed. The hard drive has become corrupted in some way or you have a hardware problem.
    Or all of the above.
Wish all of you good luck.

  • Error in Apple Configurator - Unable to Download iOS 7.1.2. The firmware image was corrupted.

The initial update of some iPads failed while preparing them in Apple Configurator. Now this message, Unable to Download iOS 7.1.2. The firmware image was corrupted, appears every time I try to prepare using the Configurator. Can the corrupted firmware image be deleted or is there away around the error?

    It should be located here:

Try deleting the ipsw from here and re-download it.

  • Bad Image Data Error!

    Hi,
I'm doing a project for a my class doing a simple sunrise/sunset program. I've noticed that if I either create simple images in fireworks and import them, or even images form the web, I get an error message saying "Bad Image Data Error!" and all the images turn to red squares.
Any ideas of how to fix this? I don't want to have create images in flash.
    Thanks,
    Avi

Oh and I forgot to add....I've experience this problem on both CS3 & CS4. Tried it on my desktop and laptop, both are Windows 7 64bit.

  • What does the corrupted content error message mean when FireFox 7.0.1 tries to open a web page?

Corrupted Content Error. The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because an error in the data transmission was detected. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. Ever since FireFox updated to 7.0.1 this error occurs.
Signing out of Hotmail generates that message I mentioned: Corrupted Content Error. The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because an error in the data transmission was detected. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. Ever since FireFox updated to 7.0.1 this error occurs. How do I stop it? Now it appears to be doing it across multiple websites. The TRY AGAIN button always comes up when initially trying to load a webpage - very frustrating.

You can get a "Corrupted Content Error" error if there are multiple location redirects send via the HTTP response headers or other entries may be wrong.

I'm trying to prepare some new iPads using Apple Configurator and the download of IOS8 failed.
The error in Apple Configurator is "Unable to download iOS 8.0. The firmware image was corrupted. Please retry the operation."
Is there a way to get the Apple Configurator to try to re-download iOS 8?

Apple Support had me delete the image file from the following location:
    ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.configurator/Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.confi gurator/firmware/
    The file name was iPad3,4_8.0_12A365_Restore.ipsw
I deleted this file and ran the prepare again and it download the iOS 8 ok and successfully prepared the iPad.

    thanks for your response.
i have to do a deployment with 200 notebooks for a Business School.
the administrator of the Business School use a Vista Business OEM version for all the notebooks, R61 and X61s.
they give to me a R61 and a x61s with Vista and a lot of softs installed.
my job is to clone this two models and deploy the ghost image on the 198 others R61 and X61s :]
on the disk there is two partitions : in first one IBM partition hidden, in second one Vista partition.
i clone the entire disk of R61 with ghost solution suite 2.5 and my clone works perfectly with the R61.
i clone the entire disk of X61s with ghost solution suite 2.5 and my clone give me a BSOD and a reboot.
    have you an idea ?
    thanks
