Hi All,
I'm getting my company logo based on the org id ,and i want to display the same in the header and footer of the out put , how i can acheive this in XML publisher, please help me on this.

My client want's to have the company logo in header of PDF generated of web template how can i achieve the same.
If i go through the Export wizard in the web template then i have limited options for header display wherein i can't set image in header. Is there any function's or something else which can help me to display image in header.

Adding Image to Header - Pages 5.0

Hi, I need to add an image to the header in Pages 5.0 (newly updated!)
and can't seem to do it!!!!
How do I do this, is it even possible? I have tried to Copy Paste, no use.
Any help is appreciated, the new version of Pages is quite frankly, annoying as ****.

Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
Export your Pages 5 files to Pages '09 or Word .docx and trash/archive Pages 5.
Then rate/review Pages 5 in the App Store.

Image in header of ALV

Good Morning,
I am using the T.Code OAER for upload an Image in the header of a report ALV. I upload the image in the client of development, and the image is show perfectly.
But i transport the order that genera the report ALV to client of Production and the image not is show.
The question is, I have that do the same procedure with the T.Code OAER in the system of Production or Is there any standard way by which I can generate a orden of transport when is upload this image y can transport the orden a PRD?

Check with your basis guys whether your program is transported perfectly to PRO server. To my knowledge there nothing more to do for displaying the image other than what you have mentioned.

Spaces between images on header - please help!

I’m having an issue with a layout that I can’t seem to figure out. Here’s the website where the layout looks fine: www.sincityknitshop.com All I did was add an additional navigation link (testimonials) and it started leaving a space between each image on the header ONLY when I added the rollover navigation buttons. I agree with that 100%. In my experience, I've twice been forced to use images in place of text for navigation menus, simply to keep the original design of the site intact. I made my own way around it, and it was "bulky" from a CSS standpoint, but it did have the advantage of the menu still looking like text to search engine crawlers.
First thing I did was apply a text-indent property of -10000px to my navigation menu list items (#navmenu ul li a{ text-indent:-10000px;}). This keeps the text links off the page when viewed in a browser. Next, I applied a different ID to each <li> in my nav menu list, and applied a normal state (#navmenu ul li a#home) and a hover state (#navmenu ul li a#home:hover) using the image link as a background image with an "on" and an "off" version of each image for each state. Image in header help needed

The image in the header is previews in design and IE6
properly and looks good. When previewed in IE7 the header and the
footer go beyond the box about 1 inch. Can someone help? I'm new to
this, and I don't know where else to look. I've changed the box
size, but when I do that then I have white space at the right edge

Dynamic image in header

Hello,
I've been starting to use Livecycle designer (version 8 it seems) a few weeks ago and I am currently confronted to a problem that I can't to solve.
Basically, I need to create a Fragment that serves as a header for multiple documents.
This Fragment contains an image field that changes depending on certain values on my form and of course, being a header, it is placed in the master page.
Now, for some reason,the fragment works if my it is placed in the main page, but doesn't display any image if I place it in my master page.
I have been using the following code to load the image:
imageField.value.image.href = "../Pictures/myPicture.png";
Alternatively, I have also tried to use a dynamic image field with the same code, and although it displays the picture in Designer (even when in the masterpage), the pdf is "corrupted" when I load it from Livecycle.
Am I taking the wrong approach here? Is there anything that I can do?

If you are using an ImageField object on the Master Page you might need to set its binding to Global. So that as new pages are rendered on the form, the image will be displayed.
In relation to the href, I believe that you are hitting a security restriction.
I am not sure how best to get the image in from LiveCycle, maybe someone else will have a better view.

Image in header disappears when document is opened with iPad Pages

I'm trying to create company templates for standard files that can be both accessed from my Mac and iPad via iCloud. Howerver, I can't get the iPad version to include the image that was added within the Mac version and saved to iCloud.
Here is what's happening:
1. Make new document with Mac version of Pages
2. Insert an image in the headder (company logo in PDF format but I've also tried EPS & PNG as well)
3. Save documnet to iCloud
4. Open document from iCloud with iPad version of Pages
5. Image disappears (to clarify, the image is shown in the thumbnail view on the iPad but disappears once opened)
If I don't make any changes to the document on the iPad and reoppen it on the Mac the image is still there. However, if I make any changes to the document with the iPad and then open the modified file on the Mac the image remains missing.

I have never heard that inserting an image into a header is a bad thing; can you please explain why you say it's never a good thing to do?
As far as I know, this is a very common method and is the only way that I'm aware of to create a header with a company logo that will repeat on subsequent pages within the document. By making the image a background image, you lose this ability and the image will only show on the first page of the document.
To answer your suggestion, yes, making the image a background image will make it visible on the iPad however this is not the issue, as images within the body of the document do not have the disappearing issue that I'm experiencing with images in the header.
If inserting images in the header is bad thing, do you have another method that you could share that would achieve the same result; that is an image (logo) that will automatically repeat on every subsequent page that is added to a document?

Changing Logon Screen WebAS ABAP: image for header

we would like to change the default logon screen of a WebAS ABAP 7.0 service (CLPBID - APO Collaborative Transportation Planning). The problem is the image for the header (SICF, service, tab error pages, tab logon erros, configuration, adjust links an images).
When we enter - for testing purposes - the URL "/SAP/PUBLIC/BC/Webicons/w_approv.gif", the GIF is displayed correctly. When we choose the URL "/SAP/PUBLIC/BC/Icons/s_aanode.GIF", the GIF is missing. We also created a new folder (SE80, MIME repository), e.g. "/SAP/PUBLIC/TEST" with a file test.gif. But this file is also not displayed on the logon page.
What is the difference between those folders. Are there any prerequsites for using other folders in the URL field? Security concerns? For claritys sake, we would like to create new folders with our own ressources...

How can I put the image and header in the same animation

I am working on presentation and want to have the image (I choose "Showroom" theme) on the half side of the page (either left or right) and the text header (on the middle top) coming at the same time in the annimation. I am now doing by choose effect direction and set the oder. How can I have let say oder no 1 and 2 coming at the same time.

I have a question about printing a JTable. I use the following code which works well but I want to extend my print with a image (a logo) in the header of every page. What is the best way to achieve this?
My second question is how I can change the font size of the header?

The API provided by the JTable class is described as simple, and indeed it is. To obtain more complex printing, you need to use the JTable.getPrintable method and do some extra work to get the results desired.

Inserting images into header

In the previous version of Pages, I could have an image in the header.
This can be important because it can serve as a kind of letterhead fucntion.
It appears that in the new version of Pages that I have just downloaded, it is no longer possible.
This is very disappointing. Surely people must want to have images in headers loads and loads of times. How come such a simple, expected function has been removed?

Same problem here. Totally screwed up my letterhead. I may have found a "fix," though. I happened to have the image that I was using in the header saved as a separate PDF, but I think it should work for image files. I opened the image in Preview, copied it, then pasted it into the body of the document. Then I resized it and dragged it up to the header and it landed there with no problem. I found, however, that once I dropped the image into the header it couldn't be moved. It appears that you have one shot to get it right (otherwise you'll have to undo and try again). In other words, I couldn't resize it easily once it was in the header. It took some trial and error, but I got it to work. But it really shouldn't be this difficult and we shouldn't have to be finding work-arounds for things that should be as simple as this.

Still a problem, I'll make another app demonstrating my problem...Fact is that when I click on a button in the buttonbar I can manage to set the underlying data in the dataprovider...but when I scroll the data in the datagrid and a buttonbar in a row scrolls off and then back into view I lost the toggle state of the buttonbar (no button selected but data in the dataprovider is still correct).
The dataprovider for the togglebuttonbar is contained in the dataprovider of the datagrid, but I don't think that this is part of the problem... (ie. each object in a row is a message with associated possible actions. I'd like to represent the possible actions with a togglebuttonbar.

While trying to delete an image or header on Index page, Index..html disappeared--how could this have happened?

Windows 7, Adobe CS6
In Dreamweaver, from files located on a USB, on the Index screen, I was trying to 1) delete an Image in order to insert a different one and link it to a page; 2) delete the Header in order to insert a border and then replace the Header.
I seem to have succeeded with the Image rollover replacement and link. Clicking on the Header should have activated it so that I could delete it; but it didn't.
All of the images and links are intact; I just can't open the Index page, since I can't find the Index.html file. The last time I copied the USB files onto my C: drive was 3 weeks ago.
1. What might I have done accidentally to cause the Index.html file to be deleted?
2. Exactly what does the Index.html file contain? Would the one that's 3 weeks old work? No, I'm thinking, since some changes were made in the html coding in the meantime?

This is the problem with working in Design View only. You really need to work in Split View so you can see the code that DW creates/selects for you. Often times, selecting elements in Design View will capture too much or too little code. When you hit delete, you may have deleted much more code than was needed. The result is invalid code, unbalanced tags, etc.. all of which might explain why your page is blank in Design View.
Switch to code view. Copy & paste the remaining code into a web forum reply (do not use e-mail, it won't come through). If we can see the code you have to work with, we might be able to help you repair it.
