Image Maps not available?

I have RH8 and noticed the html "image map" functionality does not work in a generated a Word document and/or a PDF document. Can someone confirm this is correct? I looked around for some kind of setting, but I can't find one.

This would seem to make sense that Image Maps would fail to convert to a medium primarily intended for printing.
If you feel it should operate differently, please advise Adobe via the Wish Form. (Link is in my sig)

Binary images description not available

I scanned some pages from a book on my Epson scanner which converted them to jpg files. I then tried to import those images into iPhoto to clean up the edges but it won't import. Every time the program crashes. I've restarted and repaired permissions. Below are the problem details that are sent to Apple. What stood out in my eye was the phrase, "Binary images description not available".
Could someone tell me why this is happening and what I might be able to do to fix it.

Why google maps Not available in UAE?

Image Map not working in Dreamweaver CC

I'm trying to create an image map over a jpeg but when I try to draw a rectangle over the image, a grey stroke gets placed over the image then moves with the cursor.
Here is the only code on the page. Any ideas as to why this isn't working?

Let me see if I have this right...
1. From Design View, you are clicking your image to select it
2. You are then selecting the Rectangle tool from the bottom left of the Properties window
3. You are then clicking and dragging on the image in Design View to create your map area
4. DW puts a grey line around the image and moves it instead of adding the image map and area tags?
Run your page for code errors at http://validator.w3.org. I can't duplicate what you describe and DW will do strange things when code errors are present, it could be an error DW doesn't know how to fix that's causing the normal image map functionality to fail.
If you have clean code and are doing what I list above and it's still not working, it may be time to clear the program cache:Deleting a corrupted cache file

Image Maps not working in Firefox or IE

For some reason my Golive 9 submenu image maps (News, Locations, etc.) work in Safari, but not in Firefox or IE. Plus some elements seem scrambled in the two latter browser apps. Here's the web page: http://www.frankparsons.com/express/index.html

It couldn't hurt. Using your own CSS (or even old-school tables) will generally make any transition less painful than using program-specific features like the layout grid.

I think the equivalents in DW are called Library items. Haven't used them though, as I usually stick with PHP includes to avoid anything proprietary.

Image Processor not available

I have CS3 and in Bridge, I do not have the Image Processor option available. Does anyone know what may be causing that? I do have it available in PhotoShop but I want to access it through Bridge. Using OS 10.5

I looked in my preferences for Bridge and cannot find anywhere that mentions
Image Processor.
It should be visible in the Start up scripts section of the Bridge
preferences.
But if it did work before and suddenly stopped a restart for Bridge holding
down option key to refresh preferences should do the trick.
If it never worked and it is present and working in PS itself but not
visible in the Bridge Start up preferences your install did not work
properly I'm afraid.

HTML image mapping not working only on Firefox browser

On my website I have some images, which show fine, however the image mapping which is coded using html does not work (i.e. when you click on a certain area in the picture and it takes you to another page). This is working fine for IE, safari and chrome.
Any help / advice would be appreciated.

Image Maps not working

Hi, here's the url:

There are 4 image maps over the word 'Start' at the bottom of the page.
I've linked the pages in the properties panel and there appears to be an 'href' piece of coding in the html.
The other maps higher on the page seem to be OK.
Any clues anyone? Any help always appreciated.

The 'overflow' style when used with values "scroll | hidden" is incredibly useful in controlling floats and margins on your page. When an element is assigned one of these styles, it becomes "a new block formatting context". What that means is that all interior floats (within that element) are automatically cleared, and no interior margins can escape the container. The problem you were having was that a subsequent element was somehow (and I'm not really sure why - didn't look closely enough to diagnose it) expanded enough vertically to MASK the linked buttons. When the buttons are masked, the mouseovers are not detected by the browser and the links don't work. By assigning the overflow style, you prevent that masking and the links are expressed.

Images are not "available" in SRM MDM 5.5 SP5 catalog

Hello,
We have SRM MDM 5.5 P5 and we have uploaded photos in the record table. But images do not appear in the catalog "detail view". Instead we get the default "image not availble" red image.
Is special customizing/setting required to be able to watch images in catalogs?

Hi Le,
There could be the 3 reason while images are not displaying on the catalog end:
1. check all the setting in Data manager as mentioned below which are required:
   add JPG to MIME Types table
   you should see 2 entries in Hyperlink Types table (link and rendered)
   add the 2 types of hyperlink types to the Hyperlink table
   In the Catalog Items table, you can then add hyperlink records for catalogue items.
2. Just check with the OCI mapping has been configured properly via UI:
    go for UI, then login with user as "Master" and choose option as "Shopping Cart" then click on "OCI Mapping" and then field mapping window will open and check for the following entry as tejas mentioned:
NEW-ITEM_ATTACHMENT : Hyperlink-URL
NEW-ITEM_ATTACHMENT_TITLE :Hyperlink-URL Description
3. go for the User specific Configuration in UI as i have mentioned earlier:
Add the image field in your customization then save the configuration.then check on the catalog end.
otherwise customize your setting to the Specific user (you can choose the user from the dropdown combo box ),save the customization and try to login with this perticular user on the catalog end then check for the images.

Image map not working

I have a graphic in a dreamweaver html file that needs to have multiple links on it. In the past you could use image maps to accomplish this or split it up and put it in a table. In the new CC 2014 I was not able to find this feature. Eventually I discovered if I click on the image in the code the map feature shows up, but it does not allow me to draw the shape over the graphic like it used to. I can click on the shape, but when I go the the image it does not let me draw it. Does this feature no longer work? How would I accomplish what I want to do? I would prefer not to split the image up as I know tables are old also. Is there a new way to do what I want to accomplish?

Show Default Image when actual Image is not available

Hi,
The Customer is using BI Publisher to generate a Report with the Inventory Item Details. This report also shows an Image of the Item. These Image files are stored in a different server.
We are able to dynamically show the Image based on the Item Numbers using the URL{} tag.
We are facing an issue when there is an Item when there exists an Item with no corresponding Image File. The PDF is generated without any image. In such cases, the requirement is need to display a Default Image showing "NO IMAGE".
During XML Extraction, we do not know whether the Image file is available in the server.
How do we handle this specific requirement.
Any assistance is highly appreciated.

Having raised a service request with Oracle, it would seem that this is not possible -
"Unfortunately, In the BIP core, there is no functionality to test that a file ( containing an image ) exists or not ."
The problem I have is that the URL referencing the image is concatenated and includes the XML item for a reference number. That reference number, and therefore the XML item, is always available but the image that corresponds to it is not - so I can't test for a null or false return because BI Publisher does not recognise the concatenated string of the url as having a returned value.
This would be a problem if the layout options in Word were more flexible (better) - being able to add an image to the background of a table or cell would have solved my problem but, sadly, that is not possible in the version of Word I'm using (2003). I'm not sure whether it's possible in newer versions though?

Nokia 5310 image sequence not available??

i just bought this phone 2 days ago. everything was ok but not all.
Firstly, the image sequence mode is not available yet? why? my sroll is on it and it does not bold up. should i wait for updates?
Secondly, the respond time is quite slow. Sometimes it even restart itself. Wait for updates too? or send to Nokia??
btw, i'm using a 1gb micro sd..

you must change the resolution to 640x480 or smaller to take advantage of image sequence. at it's highest setting of 640x480, you only get three images in sequence. at the smallest, 160x120, you get six images in sequence, the sequences of images is placed in a folder in your image gallery.

User mapping not available

Hi all,
I have installed EP SR1 . I am trying to map a system to a role. When i try to user mapping it asks for username ,pwd for the system.
When i enter it and save it ,its throwing the following error.
Any patches ?

User Mapping, we have to install encryption packages, if you are not concerned abt security, one work around is
goto System Config->UM Config-> Select Direct Editing Tab and change this valuefrom FALSE to TRUE.
#Use usermapping without strong cryptography (IAIK). It is strongly recommended to keep the default value (FALSE). Only change this setting, if you cannot install a cryptography provider due to import and export regulations. Then, if this property is set to TRUE, the usermapping information will not be encrypted.
(Type: Boolean, Default: 'FALSE')

This issue seems related to S/MIME control and IE.
Please perofrm latest updates for IE and S/MIME. More details as below:
1. OWA -> Options -> Settings -> S/MIME
2. If any security warnings appear, click Yes for the control to download and install.
Also try to add OWA web site into Compatibility View in IE.

Fiery features : image shift not available

my office recently changed printers to a canon imagepress C1+ and i upgraded to a new computer running 10.6.3. we have downloaded and installed the latest driver from canon.
the "full properties" glitch is mentioned at [url="http://discussions.info.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2190095&tstart=180 "]in this forum thread[/url], as is a workaround. however, for some reason *image shift* is NOT in the list of features i can add to the +quick access+ pane.
this is an important feature from the user end, as we need to print double-sided and this corrects the placement of the second side. any suggestions welcome.

There are two EFI (Fiery) RIPS available for the imagePRESS C1+. There is the imagePRESS-T1/T2 and the imagePRESS-Q1/Q2. The 1 indicates that the RIP is using system v1.x while the 2 indicates the RIP is running system v2.x. For the imagePRESS-Q2 and imagePRESS-T2, there is a now a 10.6 driver available that does not suffer the same restrictions as the 10.5 driver. You can download this driver via the following link...
