We received 2 phones today and one has black screen while charging and the other has a bright green image that says downloading and Do not turn off Target!!! Is something wrong??

This is why I make a verizon store activate and turn on my phone the first time. I recommend you do the same.

If the battery is fully charged, the battery LED will switch the color. Depending on your notebook it will switch from orange to white for example. After this the battery is fully charged.
The charging time is also depending on the battery, AC/DC adaptor and if the notebook is truned on or off. So nobody can exactly say how long it takes but the battery LED will it show you. :)

i just got the iphone 6. when i turned it on for the first time it had like half battery, i let it fully die and now im charging it for the first time. can i use it while its charging? every phone ive ever had had such a crappy battery life. i wanna finally have a good battery! lol

That is actually not considered best practice. Lithium ion batteries should be kept topped up when possible. That was previously recommended to calibrate the battery sensor. It never had any effect on the overall life of the battery.

Can i transfer songs to my nano while it charges for the first time?

I just got a nano today for christmas and i have just installed iTunes and my nano is currently charging in it's dock and has a sign flashing on it saying do not disconnect. But i don't know wheather it is wise to start trying to load songs into the nano just now when it is still charging for the first ever time!? Is it ok to do this?

All I can say is give it a try if you want - but it's certain not the recommended way of handling it. It only takes a few hours to charge the Nano the first time - why not do that and then transfer the songs?

I bought myself a new iPhone and this was from the store, not from someone else, so how should I charge it for the first time? Should I wait when iPhone loads out till blank screen and the charge it to 100%?
How do you charge your iPhone by the way, sometimes I think that I should not let it load out till the blank screen, because when I put it on charge it sometimes took at least three times to begin charging - instead it loaded me the apple logo, waited for a second and then it loaded itself out, then I needed to push the sleep/wake button to turn it on and again it only showed me the apple logo for a second and loaded the iPhone out.

The new batteries don't need as much care as the old generations. Their lifetime is supposed to be mostly independent of how often and at what charge levels you discharge them. So feel free to charge as you wish.
If it starts showing inaccurate battery levels, calibrate it by doing a full discharge/recharge cycle.

Yes but it's not necessary to fully charge it the first time.

please let us know what patch level your middleware is running on.
The mobileengine.config file is placed in the MI client installation directory in subfolder settings. On PC it is in
c:\Program files\Sap Mobile Infrastructure\settings.
From the URL you mentioned above you are using the "old" technology. Please go the service.sap.com/instguides and follow the setup guid for the old technology.
When you enter the URL directly into the browser you should get a LOGON popup. This shows the service is running. I would expect that you do not get this popup due to missing setup.
If you want to use the new sync service in SICF and you have configured this. have a look into the manual. In that case you are missing some settings on the MI client. The problem is, that the old MI client uses old sync service by default.

Should the phone be off the first time I charge and how will I know its fully charged?

You will know its fully charged when the lightening flash turns to a plug, or, if you have it displaying % of charge, when it reads 100%.
BTW, Apple says you should charge it for 4 hours before first use. I doubt that anyone has actually done this!

I have my phone set up so that it silences between 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM, so I have to say I was really glad I wasn't able to fall asleep tonight. Clicked no, and they said they blocked my account, and would call me tomorrow. Logged onto my account to make sure that there were no other unauthorized charges (even though I have email alerts for charges over $1, alerts can delay or fail so you never know!) just to make sure. When I logged off, I got this as an ad: I'm covered? Yeah, no kidding, haha! Should I be concerned, still? How does Chase tend to handle things like this, are they good about it? I take identity protection really seriously. My only other card (Slate) has the same charge alerts, and has been SD since I got it (it's an emergency card). I use a privacy browser that encrypts data and blocks tracking when making online purchases. My spend tends to run around the same stores I've used for years (and I haven't been making many purchases at all, since I'm paying down balance), and since getting the EMV card, I've only made two purchases—one at Target to buy some medication, and one at Staples to fax an important document—and both with the EMV terminal. Could the information have been stolen there? I don't know, I'm still really jittery from this situation—my hands are shaking and I even feel like crying a little bit. $150 isn't a lot for other people, but it's definitely a lot for someone like me. Alright, so last night, I couldn't sleep. Sunrises can be a little slow.
Received a phone call this morning, did the song and dance, and she said I would get a new card within 3-5 days. When I hung up, because I was so rattled about this, I didn't bother to recheck the phone number to make sure it was legit! She had my personal info, but she asked me my email as well (not username or password, but...)!
I have 2-step verification on my email account, so I'm not concerned that (if the call was not legit) that they would go much further. Changed all of my passwords last night as well. And no SSN info was asked, so there's that. She also made me aware of two other previous pending charges that have been there for a few days (which are legit, I had been tracking them), so I feel slightly more sure that it was legit.
Checked back at the email and webpage provided to look at the security certificate, and it checks out fine. Nevertheless, I called at the back of my card because, by then, I was already nearly crying over my oversight--anxiety issues and a lack of sleep will do that to you, heh...
This CSR tells me that, indeed, my card had been compromised, and confirmed that the account had been blocked and that they were not overnighting the card, that it would arrive in 3-5 days (which also eases me, as the woman said they were sending it via regular mail and gave the same timeframe).
Regardless, I'm the world's biggest worrywart, so I requested a fraud alert on my CRs. I don't know what to do with myself now. What else can I do to protect myself? Had a good cry, I think I'll try and get some sleep, finally...
Thanks for warning me about the passwords, though, I hadn't thought about it until some of you said so!
