Can you select an image instead of text. So you have a number of images you upload and then your client would be able to select a particular image? hope this makes sense...

We do not support images in choice fields. However as a work around, we do support images in the form, and you can add the images above the choice field, and have the choices refer to the images above.

Same here. I've never had trouble with this function before.
It opens the Photoshop application with all the menus/windows, but it never opens the actual image I chose to work on.
I'm on a Mac, using OS X Yosemite, 10.10.1 Lightroom is version 5.7 Photoshop is CS5, version 12.0.4

I have an Edit In - Photoshop option, but not an Export - Photoshop option.
Obviously to have right-click Edit In to work, the photo you're right-clicking on needs to be selected. I assume this is not the problem, and that the photo is selected.
Mavericks 10.9.3 has a problem where the Users folder is hidden, and you need to update iTunes to fix it, but it's been a few weeks since this happened so hopefully you're up-to-date and the Users folder isn't hidden anymore.
If you can't get things to work, I'd uninstall LR and uninstall Photoshop, then install Photoshop, and update it, then install LR and update it, as a way to get any wayward security or other OS-level things reset.

How do i hide the "print as image" option in the menu ?

I need to hide the "print as image" option in the menu for some users.
what would be the best way to do it ?
(the result should be that the users do not see the print as image option when they want to print something
with Adobe Acrobat reader)

Check Firefox page settings
If a web page prints incorrectly in Firefox:
At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button, go over to the Print... menu (on Windows XP, click on the File menu) and select Print Preview. The print preview window will appear.
In the print preview window, make sure Scale is set to Shrink To Fit.
Make sure the Portrait orientation is set.
Click Page Setup.... The Page Setup window will appear.
In the Page Setup window, click the Margins & Header/Footer tab.
In the Margins section, make sure the page margins are set correctly (the default setting is 12.7 mm, or 0.5 in).
Click OK to close the Page Setup window and return to the Print Preview window.
Back in the Print Preview window, click Print. The Print window will appear.
Make sure the correct printer is shown in the Name field.
Make sure the Print to file setting is not selected.
If you made changes, go ahead and attempt to print the page again. If not, follow the instructions below.

Can images be used as selections in a combo box in Acrobat 9 Pro?

Can images be used as selections in a combo box in Acrobat 9 Pro? I only see options for text choices when I look at the combo box properties. Basically, I want to click the drop-down and see images (small logos) from which to choose as opposed to text choices.
I'm grateful for any thoughts on this.

Have a look at the PO sample that ships with Designer. It shows the provinces or states based on the country that you choose. Look in the Designer install folder under EN/Samples/Forms/Purchase Order/Dynamic Interactive

I'm trying to capture the C drive to a Image.
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Booted OS: WinPE 3
Command: Dism /Capture-Image /ImageFile:R:\WinRE\restore.wim /CaptureDir:C:\ /Name:"Win 7 Home Premium Restore"
But I get the following error:
The capture-image option is unknown
Although this is the EXACT way as described in the Documentation from Microsoft.
What's going on here?

The error "The capture-image option is unknown" may be due to you not using a absolute path to DISM.EXE in your batch file. DISM is the replacement for IMAGEX (I use it all of the time). It will capture and apply an image along with all of the other
IMAGEX functionality. Since it is already installed in Windows 8 and on the Install media, you can run it and image a folder or your entire drive directly from the Windows 8 install media without having to create your own WinPE CD (from the Windows 8 install
media:   REPAIR - TROUBLESHOOTING - ADVANCED - COMMAND PROMPT). Below is the batch file I use. You just need it on a logical drive which isn't in the folder path you are capturing, preferably a different logical drive than the target. It
is pretty generic and it will prompt you for your selections. It will format your target drive during an APPLY if you select yes. It names the WIM image based on the current date and time. DISM needs a scratch directory to write to and it is created in
the folder you save your image to. Use at your own risk (I am not entirely sure the formatting in this thread left things alone, but it does appear to have). Let me know if you have any questions.

I saved My itunes library to an ehd and now my playlists are gone. When I tried option hold and selected it from ehd and added it to my library it copies it but as soon as I eject the hard drive it says choose or create new library when I launch iTunes

I saved my itunes library to an external hard drive and my playlists disappeared. I tried holding down the option button and selecting choose library and selecting the library from the hard drive. When I do this it opens up and everything comes back. When I add the library to my itunes I can see it copying the music but as sson as I unplug the hard drive I have no itunes at all. It says the folder containing the itunes library cannot be found and is required.
Please Help!

You need to make sure it is connected and mounted before launching iTunes.

Mix of Parameters & Select Options in a Selection screen in WD4A

Hi All.
I just created my first selection screen in WD4A couple of days back.
Now, we have to mix up some parameters and select-options just like in normal ABAP.
But I could only find a way to insert a "Range" into the WD4A screens via "Create_Range_table".
Supposing I have 2 select-options, then 2 parameters - i.e. no Pattern or range or intervals options (simple = option); then again 2 select-options.
Can't we make a simple Parameter option in WD4A selection screen? I know we can make no_extension and no_intervals as true so that it does look like a parameter. But still user can enter a pattern search in it like a select-option.
Hope my query is clear.
Another question is : As far as I understood, we ALWAYS need a IT_RESULT table in the method ADD_SELECTION_FIELD. Then why is it not mandatory in the method?

Hi Aishi,
In an early version of SelectOptions, the parameter it_result was mandatory. Some time later, a developer contacted me and showed me an example where it was benefitial to first create the field and to pass in the range table at a later point in his algorithm. This can be done by calling set_range_table_of_sel_field( ). Hence, the parameter has become optional. Of course, a range table needs to be specified before the page gets rendered.

Need to disable one of the select-options in dynamic selection screen

we have copied the Standard program: RFDOPR00 into Z, my requirement is to disable one of the select-options in dynamic selection screen for ex: Reason code(User shouldnot able to enter anything in it).
Can anyone please tell me the procedure to do it... I had tried using at selection-screen but it doesnt work as it in 'LOOP AT SCREEN', i am not able to capture the Parameter name(screen-name).

Hi,
Get inside your selection screen, by executing your program.
Now type /h in the field where you enter transaction code and press enter.
Now again press enter, this will take you debugger starting from your Selection screen.
You might be knowing this, still if you are not aware of this, this might be a valuable tip.
From here , you can trace your Parameter name.

Nic, for me the iTunes window looks like this, when I connect my iPad 3:
I select the iPad in the "devices" section of the Sidebar (use: "View > Show Sidebar" if the sidebar is hidden).
Click the "Apps" tab in the "Devices" pane.
Scroll all the way down in the Devices pane to "File Sharing" "Apps" section.
Then do I click "GarageBand" to select the documents in the right panel.
Which part is different for you? Perhaps you could post a screenshot?

Place Image option is missing in Acrobat 9

I'm trying to add an image object (jpg image) into a document. Following the instructions to use Advanced Editing>Touchup Object tool, the right clicking, there are no options displayed. The option to "place image" is absent.
This previously functioned, but now it'g gone. Any help??

Security Restrictions of the document are unknown.
The problem was
resolved following an Adobe "repair" procedure, then I re-created the
pdf file by printing it to pdf (the document had a few "typewriter"
objects on it). Starting again from this point, the insert image options
were present upon right click.
My guess is that if there are
typewriter objects on the document, this provides some conflict with the
advanced editing tools. IF this is the case, the "help" sections on
inserting images needs some more helpful info of this nature. Thanks for

I want to set current year as default value in fiscal year select-options field on selection screen.
for this, i hv written following code

Just give atry in this way..
open the same program ans selection-screen screen no will be 1000 in se51 screen painter,
go to properties of the texts u want to change then go to display tab and check the checkbox bright.
it may or may not work but this will work in module pool .
just give a try...
