Image Process is not closing the files In CS6 - what do I do?

When using Image processor (from Bridge) - the files all save to a jpg folder in my main folder but NONE of the files close in CS6 at all. How do I get them to close?

Bernd, thank you for your attempt to help but the option dialog windows do not contain the same options. There are numerous other posts on this forum about this issue and there is no answer. Clearly, there is an issue. I have submitted this issue to our internal help desk.

First check the version of the document with Jongware's script "Identify.jsx" (ExtendScript/JavaScript).

If it is CS 5.5 or above, you need someone to open it in the version the script says and export an IDML representation from that. Another way would be to install a 30days version of CS6 or above (CC) and do it yourself.
In regards of the script showing a result for InDesign files higher than CS6:
CS7 = CC v9
CS8 = CC v10 = CC-2014 or CC2014.1

When you use Migration Assitant it creates another user account and puts your files there. Please log out of your normal account and log into the new account. Had you use Setup Assistant when it asked if you were migrating that would not have occured. You have a couple of options, combine the two accounts (not recommended) or start over, use Setup Assistant and have everything in one user account. The crash happens on setting up the audio hardware. Either you have a broken driver or your preferences is damaged. You can try deleting the MainStage preferences.

Could not open the file

I had worked on the Illustrator CC 2014 with 19 slices of PDF presentation file for my assignment even in 15 minutes ago, and before closing it previous time, I have saved the file, and restarted my laptop, tried to open the PDF file again, but the message of "Could not open the file" was appeared each time I have tried to open it. Does it open in Acrobat?
Did it really complete saving? Or did it crash or did you abort the saving process?
In case you can open it in Acrobat, the PDF part of the file is still intact. Then you could create a niew file in Illustrator and place your file in it. Of course then most editing features will be lost, but at least you've got the content.

File Adapter as Sender not picking the files

We configured the File Adapter as Sender, Transport Protocol =NSF and message protocol as FCC.
In OS we have folder to read the file, but SAP XI unable to read the file.
To trouble shoot this issue we copied that file into another location and reverted back to the same location then XI File adaptor is able to read the file.
Now we have compared the Attributes of the path

Check the file path & file name , Check the processing mode parameter which you have set?
Check the folder properties & provide all the permission ...
Finally check the communication channel status in RWB, If the problem persist try to stop & start the communication channel again..

Where PS will De-queue the JMS queue and route using Service call out to BS. And the BS will place the file in location. I could do this easily. BUT the thing is that i could not name the file perfectly with the intended file name. to build the BS i used .JCA file , .WSDL file, XML file from Jdeveloper. and imported to osb console. i could write the file as follows..

i am getting this error when i process test from proxy services then i may use route and change it as Use Routing Options on the Service Callout and override the header (jca.file.FileName).
but the thing is when i test from Business services also i am getting the same garbage name on both window and linux.

Sender file adapter not polling the file

hi all,
i have configured a filexifile scenario....
but the file sender adapter is not polling the file at all....
i dont c any message either in RWB or in SXMB_MONI
i checked the adapter framework url at http://<ximachine>;<port>/AdapterFramework....and the status for the file adapter is green...
but the message it gives there is

Up and running - no message processing until now

y is the sender adapter not polling the file..
i am using NFS as my File System....i gave the source directory as d:/test_dir/
is this way of specifying the source directory on a windows machine correct...

There is probably something wrong with the File Adapter. You will need to go to the RunTime Workbench >> Component Monitoring >> Display >> Click on the Adapter Engine >> More information will display and click on the button 'Adapter Monitoring' >> A new window will display and click on the arrow next to your adapter engine. This displays a list of adapters running on your system. Green light means good; Red, you have a configuration problem. Look at the error and try and resolve it.

Error #2148 when loading image from ByteArray (not network or file)

When I try to access bitmap data of Image loaded from ByteArray, I receive the following error:
Error #2148: SWF file file:///C|/blablabla..../MyFlash.swf cannot access local resource file:///C|/blablabla..../MyFlash.swf/[[DYNAMIC]]/2. Only local-with-filesystem and trusted local SWF files may access local resources.
I'm on Flash, not on AIR. And ByteArray contains PNG data which I prepare myself
I tried to do it with Image.load and loader.loadBytes - the error is the same. I tried to use Flex SDK 3.4, 3.5 & 3.6 - nothing helps.
When I add this image to my stage, it is displayed absolutely OK, but I still can't access bitmapData of this image - always got the same error.

What's wrong? It seems, the image loaded from byteArray is treated as local resource. How can I overcome it inside the code? Because this .swf is
run on different computers and I can't just add a flash security exception on every of them....

I had the same problem, except I was reading in the image from the local disk using FileReference. Anyway, my issue was resolved by using the
-use-network=false option on the command line of my compiler (I do all my development in the shell using 'vi' to edit and mxmlc to compile).
Ttry "-use-network=false" and see if that helps...

I have been trying out the inventeering INVENTvisionIMAQexample.vi. But i always encoutered
an error in the INVENTvisionVFWcopy.vi of "IMAQ ClipboardToImage IMAQ Vision
does not support the file type you specified." And the video window does not
appear full size with real-time capture image. Does anyone encountered this problem as well? Please enlightened me. Thank you.

fixed in
one of the recent ones...
also, i am no quiet sure about referencing [previous] cffile
inside
another cffile tag:

see if setting a RESULT attribute in your cffile
action='upload' tag and

ColdFusion could not delete the file [file path] fo

Using the <cffile> tag I write a file to the server and
display the outputed file in my browser. I then try to delete the
file. I get the error message ColdFusion could not delete the file
[file path] for an unknown reason. If I wait 60 seconds I can
successfully delete the file. Using the freeware prodram Unlocker I
know that it is a jrun.exe process that is preventing the deletion
of the file for the 1 minute after the file has been created.
Is there a known workaround or fix for this issue?

Are you using CFlock when you write or create the file? If so
that will prevent the file from being deleted until the lock is
released.

I originally had Adobe Photoshop Extended, then upgraded to the Production Suite. I ran the Adobe Cleaner, and that uninstalled most Adobe products, including my existing Adobe install, and then I re-installed everything with the same error code. Since CS4 came with CS5, I've installed AE CS4, but would really like to upgrade because I'm new to Creative Suite, and not sure how CS4 integrates with CS5...CS4 After Effects installed perfectly. I do have a 64 bit system, and installing to an OCZ Vertex 2....every other suite installs perfectly, except AE. And I think that is the coolest program in the Suite. I thank you all so much for taking the time to help, I really want to get AECS5 running...I did try to install after doing the recommended items Adobe suggests for Exit Codes 6 and 7, including turning off many startups...
