Image share to facebook from gallery

Hi I'm not able to upload images direct from gallery to facebook as it is not adding my facebook account. It only shows connecting for a little time and return to gallery please help me to solve this.

Welcome to the forum!
Have you tried uploading photos using the Facebook application itself? What phone model are you using? Make sure you have an active and stable internet connection. To verify this, try to access any website using the phone's browser. You can also try to connect both Wi-Fi, if supported, and data connection to isolate the issue. Try to access your Facebook account as well using the phone's browser and upload your photos from there.
Please let us know if uploading of photos through phone's browser and application works for you.

I live in China but use a VPN at home. I have never had problems viewing facebook or sharing from Instagram on my iphone 4S but after I updated to ios 6 I am no longer able to do these things. It tells me that my connection has timed out or I have no connection to the internet. I have looked all through my settings to see if something was reset with the update but I can't figure it out. if it's a facebook app try accessing facebook in the browser and the other way around if it's in the browser you have problems

N't able to directly share from gallery

i hav bought Nokia 701 (Symbian Belle) , i hav updated its social app, but now i can't directly share pics & videos from gallery (when i click the share button in gallery it says feature n't supported).

Why are my photos not as sharp when I import them into Facebook from the Aperture Projects file, compared to when I 'share' them with Facebook within the Aperture programme? There is a noticeable difference and has been spoiling my photos for some time.

Hi all, I take wildlife photos (mostly birds) as a hobby, and have become frustrated with the quality of my photos recently when shared online, particularly Facebook.
I started blaming my camera ( a Canon 7D) as I changed it a few months ago from a Canon 550D, and I soon noticed that the images were not as good. Then I realised it was when I started using Aperture.
I started by using the 'share' option within Aperture but I soon realised that then I have no control over the creation of an album, and the photos start appearing on facebook before I have finished uploading them and given them captions. Plus if I subsequently move them or export them to my back up drive then they disappear from Facebook!
So I started creating albums within Facebook and then importing the photos from the aperture projects file on my computer. Because they are imported I can then delete or move the aperture file and the photos stay on facebook. Otherwise my macbook was becoming completely full.
However to test my theory I have today uploaded the same photo edited in Aperture stored in the same projects folder using the two different methods described above, and there is a very distinct difference between the quality of the two images. The shared ones are very much sharper than the imported ones.
I am a computer novice and don't know how to check what the quality settings are, or how to adjust anything to improve the way the photos go into facebook. I do have a manual but I just cant understand it :-(
I have tried a free sample of Lightroom 5 and my photos look amazing, there is such a difference, but I don't want to give up with Aperture unless the problem really can't be solved.

Generally I would not use Facebook for sharing any photos, it compresses the photos substantially, and when you have shadows and dark colours you get visible "bands" where there should be subtle gradients, ie at sunsets and sunrises.
It sounds like you are using two methods to upload to Facebook:
1. Sharing from within Aperture, which basically syncs Facebook with your Aperture album, so any changes made at either end gets synced, hence the deletions from Albums, although the original file should still be in your library, just removed rom the album. It is like a playlist in iTunes.
2. Exporting pics and uploading to Facebook from the browser.
I am not sure how method 1 gets compressed, but I know that uploading hi-res jpegs to Facebook using method 2 results in poor quality images.
I wouldn't even bother comparing option 1 or 2, and they will both be poor images once you view them on Facebook, as opposed to viewing uploaded images on proper image sharing / hosting sites.
Your problem is not with Aperture, it is using Facebook for showing your work.
If you export pics form Aperture at high res jpegs or TIFFs your images will be fine.
If you insist to use Facebook as your way to share your work, then your workflow should be this:
1. Right click images you want to share.
2. Select Export version.
3. Export as 100% size and ensure the export settings are set at 100% quality.
4. Upload this pic into Facebook.
This will get you the best image size and resolution on Facebook.
See how you go.

Hi I have had my Nokia N8 for 13 months now and I have always uploaded my photos either from the share button in my gallery or the social app. a few days ago when i tried to upload from the gallery it said "feature not supported" I went to the social app to try to upload that way and it said "unable to start". It's quite annoying as I upload photos to facebook all the time.Can anyone help? I did not do an update before this happened and I have restored to factory settings and it is still not working. Also I noticed that my camera is not saving to my memory card, even though it is set that way in the settings. Very stranged goings on indeed. Can anyone help please?

I have had my E5 for about 8 months. Lately there have been issues and I had to go back to a factory reset last night. I reloaded my two email accounts -- Comcast and Earthlink. I've used these two for the entire duration of owning the E5.
Today, the email account for Comcast deletes all my emails, even if I have not opened or read them yet. It is not happening with the Earthlink account -- only the Comcast account. It is not dumping them into a delete folder -- they simply disappear. This is my primary email account and I need to keep on top of my emails, so this is very upsetting.
I deleted the Comcast account and reloaded it again. It is still happening.
What would be causing this to happen?

The share button disappeared from my Facebook add-on just before I upgraded to Firefox 5.0. I thought by upgrading and reinstalling the add-on it might come back, but it didn't. All other FB buttons are there, near as I can tell. Any ideas? I'm using XP3.

There's no such file in Mac OS X version of Skype. But there's a directory for your Skype user account in /Users/%current_user_name%/Library/Application Support/Skype/
try:
quitting Skype
renaming old folder
signing into the Skype

I can no longer share my iphotos from facebook when I am using facebook. I can post a picture if I share it FROM iphoto but if I want to add a picture (on facebook) it won't allow me to do it.

I suddenly the other day can no longer login to facebook in order to export photos to it. lierally i fell asleep loading pics they were fine. next lot the next day it says error cant upload check internet connection.....it opens a browser wiondow for me to login to facebook but im already logged in and internet is working ....i dont know what to try ...im using snow leopard and old version iphoto 6.....so it wont accept im logged in and fails

Did you go to the Playstore and download the Facebook app? Try that and see if that works.
I don't use FB, but I read somewhere other people having problems with sharing in KK as well. You could try a download like "Andmade share" to see if that works for you if the previous idea doesn't.

Trying to post images to Facebook from within Lightroom

I know that this will work, but unfortunately I have not been able to get this to work, and after spending nearly 3 hours with technical support, I am no closer than when I started the call.

I am on Windows 7 with latest updates along with Lightroom 3.4.1 on a 64 bit system with 12 gig of ram. Lightroom was originally installed on D drive but per support, it is now installed on the C drive which resulted in the same behavior.
The account setup on Facebook appears to be corrrect and the image appears to post until clicking on the "view on Facebook" is selected.

Yes. All images are imported into lightroom and editable. Green light is also showing on the folders tab just the same as with my c drive. I can move/rename images and folders etc from explorer but then have to locate them for lightroom to find.

Can't share music via Facebook from Sony Music app (or Walkman previously)

Hi all, I can't seem to share music via Facebook from the Music (or previously Walkman) app with my Xperia Z1 phone (running on updated Androif Lollipop but was a problem before update as well).
I get the option to share via lots of other apps but Facebook (and the icon for it are missing).
Any ideas how to solve?

As far as I know, Facebook app does not allow sharing music till now, that's why there is no Facebook icon is music share.

Hi, Is there a way to use Share to post images to a Facebook page wall or album instead of an individual? Since the last FB revision I effectively have one login for both individual and can switch to a page, but need to target the page for them image sharing.
