Image to red green blue intengers

Hello,
I'm trying to extract the three main colours of an RGB image to red green blue values (intengers). Those value will be the sum of all pixels values in the image.
any ideas?

This was exactly it! Thank you so much!
For future reference - if anyone else gets this issue - you are able to enter kernel params when you press tab on the "boot linux" menu item when the iso loads up; this opens up the options where you can input the parameters and in this instance it was indeed nomodeset.

  • Convert cluster of red,green,blue to array?

    hi guys,
    I have a this problem while i extract colour value from an image. it comes as a cluster of red, green, blue. i want to separate it into 3 arrays. i have already made it into 1-d cluster but i don't know what to do next. i have try all functions in cluster menu but they don't work.
    please help me.

    OK, let's backup a few steps
    It seems you have your image as a 2D U32 Array (blue) hat you feed into an array that turns it into a 2D array of RGB clusters and now you want to make 3 1D arrays, one for R, G and B, resp.
    SO... the question is: Why do you do this expensive (memory and CPU) detour via the RGB cluster??? This makes absolutely no sense. You can get your desired result directly from the U32 array with a few easy steps. See attached image for one possibility to do this.
    SInce you were talking about making 1D arrays, I reshaped the 2D array into a 1D array with a length corresponding to the product of the 2D dimensions. If you actually want to keep the RGB arrays as 2D, simply leave out the reshape function.

  • 1252 status blinks red,green,blue

    Hi,
    I'we connected a Cisco 1252 accesspoint to a 802.3af switch, 15.4w.
    And it blinks red, green, blue on the status.
    The accesspoint is autonomous using latest c1250-k9w7-tar.124-21a.JA1. 5Ghz radio is off/disabled.
    but im still getting this in the logs
    "Limited(1x3 MIMO) radio functionality due to insufficient inline power. To get full functionality use enhanced PoE switches, power injectors or power supply."
    If i physically remove the 5Ghz radio the alarms go away and also the error message about mimo 1x3.
    Is there a way to disable the 5ghz radio completeley through software?

    Hi,
    The 5Ghz rasio is already shutdown.
    Any other idéas?

  • Red green blue white screen

    Opened up the PB from sleep yesterday and was greeted with a blue, then red, then green, then white screen. Fan started up but no chimes. No icons or other symbols on screen. Tried to restart and force shutdown with no improvement. Each time I restarted, the same blue, red, green, white cycle.
    Had no apps open when PB put to sleep prior to this problem.
    Help!

    I just got a g4 15 in from ebay, worked fine yeasterday and today. This evening it went red, green, blue then white. I read the posts and thought great bad logic board. I squeezed the display at the edges (I had a 5300 cs that did a simlar thing) and the screen came back on. Anyone else have any luck with this?

  • Grey, red, green, blue screen during startup

    Hi,
    today my macbook 13" unibody was working well. Then I put it in sleep mode and after it woke up I got grey, red, green, blue, vertical stripes, horizontal stripes screen. I tried to reboot my macbook and always the red, green, blue loop. I tried a cmdoption+pr boot with no results. I then tried to remove the battery and push the start button for 5 sec. but no results again.
    I've tried to boot with the C button and the installation disk but I got always the red green blue loop.
    What else can I do to solve the problem?

    We are experiencing the same issue on a Macbook A1278 13.3" Aluminum Notebook. Has anyone found a solution to this issue? Thank you.

  • Setting Red, Green, Blue with JMF

    Hi all,
    I am creating a sliding control to change the red green and blue components of a video stream using JMF and the method getVisualComponent() from the API javax.media.Player.
    This may be a simple question, but does anyone know how to set the RGB components of a player?
    regards

    No, my application takes a frame and image and then works on that image. Similar to a lot of postings that have been given in this forum and in text books. In the end I am using filters to achieve the R, G and B changes. Thanks for your interest.
    cheers

  • S2021A monitor just going red, green , blue on startup and not working

    my monitor used to work fine one day it just turns red, blue, green ,white, black flashing continuous colors on start up and doesnt end up to anything, can anyone tell what the problem is ????

    Hello @saswotsharma,
    I understand that your Compaq s2021a Monitor is cycled through various colors and is not doing anything else. I am providing you with some steps you can try below:
    Step 1. Unplug the power cord from the back of the monitor and the wall
    Step 2. Hold the power button down for at least one minute
    Step 3. Plug the power cord back into the monitor and then into the wall outlet (not a power bar or surge protector)
    Step 4. Press the Menu button on the monitor
    Step 5. Navigate to the Factory Reset option and select it
    Step 6. Change the cables connecting the monitor to the PC
    If the above steps did not resolve your issue you can try the monitor on a computer or other device to see if the issue persists. Please call our technical support at 800-474-6836. • IBook doesnt start anymore (red, green & blue screens)

    Today at college, i just wanted to get my iBook out of the standby and nothing happened. Black screen, just the DVD inside it ran and even the restart buttons didnt work, only taking out the battery brought it down.
    Then i restarted it and some grey screens came up, the a full red, a full green and a full blue screen came up, then grey again. Again, restartin via powerbutton didnt work,. only taking out the battery.
    Then, after several restarts, it actually started the system and i logged on. After about 2 min the screen dimmed and from the top a black screen came up. Again, only taking out the battery got it down. That repeated several times and now the system isnt eve restarting. Sometimes it actually plays the startup sound, sometimes it just starts the fan but doesnt do anything. Pressing the alt-button worked about 2 times but still, nothing happens. When im home, i will try to insert the system disk (there is still a dvd inside...) and start from the cd but that "not-startin" seems to be a hardware problem.
    And there is another problem in solving this one: My FireWire port doesnt work, that blew up mysteriously, but the Geniusses in the AppleStore could only tell me it would cost £550 to replace the logicboard...
    Thanks if you got any help.

    Well the GPU in the 1.2 GB machine is a ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 these have a tendency to fail. I have one here with a bad 9200. I'm negotiating with a fellow for a used working board and should know this weekend. I have also been looking for a replacement chip since my sources tell me that this chip is also in Compaqs, IBMs and Sonys.
    It's also possible that the chip needs reballing. Look for that term in these forums as well as "shim fix'. If that works it could run for a long time with that fix. If not then probably the chip went bad and since the FireWire is bad you might consider a used board. They can be found on eBay for ~ $200 or less.
    BTW plugging a bad cable or device into the FireWire can cause it to blow. I have a friends external HD here that has actual scorch marks on the input chips (it also blew the FireWire port on her G4 tower).

  • Images showing red blue spot and they are not crisp at all - Canon EOS 600 D

    Hello,
    About a month ago i bougth Canon EOS 600 D with 18-55 mm and 55-250mm lens and everything goes fine i capture moon images and wildlife pictures as well.
    But, now i'm facing some problem with it.
    Recently i was trying to capture images with my Canon EOS 600 D and suddenly i noticed that the images are not sharp at all and the images show red and blue spot. I don't know what to do i'm just an ammature in this.
    Please any one can help me with this problem.

    If you're taking shots of just the moon then the exposure value won't change all that much day to day.  I recommend shooting in full manual, use the same settings that you used that gave you images you liked as a baseline.  Low iso, nice middle aperture, and adjust shutter speed to fine tune the exposure.  The next day you start at the same settings and adjust the shutter speed slightly if needed to account for a change in brightness.  Good luck, have fun.

  • Spltting an image into its red green and blue components

    Hi,
    I need to split an image into 3 images, one the red component of the original image, one the green component, and one the blue.
    Any idea how this can be done?

    Hi,
    something along these lines:
    Robot robot = new Robot();
    // loop: get color for each pixel in image
    Color pixelColor = robot.getPixelColor(x, y);
    int red = pixelColor.getRed();
    int green = pixelColor.getGreen();
    int blue = pixelColor.getBlue();
    // do your stuff with these values
    Cheers,
    Jim

  • Blu-ray build: no video (solid red, green, etc image)

    Hey everyone,
    If this problem has already been addressed, could someone please point me in the right direction? I searched and didn't find anything similar, but wasn't too sure what to search for.
    My problem: Everytime I build a blu-ray project in Encore, I am getting the same result; the video will play (according to the progress bar on the player), but the image is always a solid color, sometimes it's red, green, tan, black, apparently just random, but always the same color throughout the entire video.
    I have tried so many different things at this point, I'm at a loss for how to proceed further. I've tried this with at least three different projects, all of which were created in Premiere. I have attempted both the dynamic link from Premiere to Encore and exporting the video first and importing into Encore later. I have tried transcoding as .264 and MPEG2 (I am not very knowledgeable about the settings, so I use the defaults). I have tried building the project in Encore as a blu-ray folder and as an ISO. I have burned to discs and played just the digital files on my PC.
    The video always plays fine up until after it is exported from Encore (that is, it previews fine in Premiere, exported video from Premiere plays fine in players like VLC, and the video previews fine in Encore).And I have no trouble building DVDs in Encore with the same video, timeline, and all that jazz.
    The only thing I haven't done yet is gone to the trouble of trying to reinstall Encore, which will be my next step if noone here has any suggestions. I am running CS6 with all recent updates. I have been testing the blu-ray playback in PowerDVD and a PS3.
    Like I mentioned above, I'm not very proficient in video. If I left out important details, just let me know. Thanks in advance for any help!
    Matt

    When I play the m2ts file, it works fine in VLC and also in PowerDVD. That's interesting, but I'm not sure what that means?
    If the actual m2ts file from the Encore build does not show the problem, but what I assume is the same file on disk (or in iso) shows the problem, what could cause such a problem? (I don't know.) The more frequent oddity is a problem on burned disk and not on iso or folder, which points to the burner, burn speed, or media. But that does not appear to be the issue here.
    I can't find the example at the moment, but try creating a tiny bluray project and see if the problem occurs. If so, you can upload it for me to take a look.
    For example, one menu with one button, linked to a 30 second timeline, using a sample of your material that is causing the problem. If that shows the problem, I would also try a bars and tones sample to eliminat your actual video - although I assume your video is part of the equation.

  • After syncing my iPad2 my color/contrast settings are all messed up. Reds are blue, greens are grey. It resembles infra-red images I've seen. How do I restore normal color/contrat settings?

    After syncing my iPad2, all of my color/contrast settings are messed up. Reds look blue and greens look grey. It reminds me of infra-red imaging. I'm not sure what happened. Can someone tell me how to fix this and maybe tell me what I did to cause this?

    Try going to Settings > General > Accessibility > white on black and turn this OFF.

  • Problem extracting red, green and blue from ColorModel

    Hi everyone,
    I'm attempting to write a piece of code to extract the red, green and blue components from an image using the ColorModel class. When I attempt to run my code below, I get the following error: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: More than one component per pixel. Does anyone know how to extract an integer representation of the red in a pixel in order to solve the problem? Here's the code snippet:
    public void getRGBValues()
              String imageFilename = new String("C:\\Documents and Settings\\David\\My Documents\\My Pictures\\blue hills1.jpg");
             PlanarImage image = JAI.create("fileload", imageFilename);
             //Get the color model for that particular image
             ColorModel imageColorModel = image.getColorModel();
             //ints to store the appropriate values for each colour component
             int totalRed = 0;
             int totalGreen = 0;
             int totalBlue = 0;
             int averageRed = 0;
             int averageGreen = 0;
             int averageBlue = 0;
             int pixelNumber = 0;
             int pixelCount = 0;
             //Loop to extract the colour values out of each pixel in an image passed into the class
             for(int i = 0; i < image.getWidth(); i++)
                  for (int j = 0; j < image.getHeight(); j++)
                       totalRed += imageColorModel.getRed(pixelNumber);
                       totalGreen += imageColorModel.getGreen(pixelNumber);
                       totalBlue += imageColorModel.getBlue(pixelNumber);
                       pixelCount++;
                       pixelNumber++;
                  pixelCount++;
                  pixelNumber++;
             averageRed = Math.round(totalRed / pixelCount);
              averageGreen = Math.round(totalGreen / pixelCount);
              averageBlue = Math.round(totalBlue / pixelCount);
              System.out.println("Average red is " + averageRed);
              System.out.println("Average green is " + averageGreen);
              System.out.println("Average blue is " + averageBlue);
    }

    You are misunderstanding the ColorModel methods. The color model can translate between colors and pixels, but it doesn't know or hold pixel data.
    I don't know the JAI, but if you use J2SE classes like BufferedImage, this is easy to do:
    BufferedImage im = ImageIO.read(input);
    int argb = im.getRGB(x, y);
    int r = 0xff & (argb>>16);
    int g = 0xff & (argb >>8);
    int b = 0xff & argb;
