Image transfer problem 6680 pc suite

Hi,
I'm trying to transfer images from my phone to the pc using pc suite. But when i select every images on the phone and drag and drop them to the pc, then a folder is created, called for instance "PB3CEA.tmp" with no images in it.
When i only select a few it does the job without any problem. I connect by cable.
Is there something to do about it ?
configuration :
Pc Suite 6.81.13.0
Nokia 6680 fully up to date
Windows XP SP2 also up to date

In fact i was using the "file manager" when this thing happened, but i retrieved my files using "transfer images".
I know this is awkward, i don't understand it either...

Hi,
I am using the latest version of Nokia PC Suite (6.80.22), in combination with windows XP, SP 2.
Image transfer used to work fine, until approx 2 or 3 months ago. Since then, PC suite does not identify new pictures anymore. I have tried reinstalling and installing newer versions, but this did not help.
I can however transfer the videos to my computer, but for some strange reason, I can not transfer any picture at all.
I have the problem when I am using a cable or using bluetooth (havent tried IR).
Does anybody know a possible solution for this problem?

Does this happen with all kind of image files (e.g *.jpg or *.gif ) ?
If you change the image file extension to video extension in phone, can you then transfer that tp PC??
Does Nokia Image Store application transfer those image files to PC?

i have recently installed pc suite onto vista. previously pc suite worked fine when i had xp. now when i try to store images from phone to pc it tells me there is an error communicating with phone. pls help!

WTk 2.5 Image Transfer Problem

I have created an camera application in wtk 2.2 i.e. start a player capture an image and send it to server and save it . It working fine on WTK 2.2 emulators.
But i have tried the same application in wtk 2.5 it will runs fine but the image is not goin to server its not able to hit the server also so whats the problem. Is there any changes i have to made to work application in wtk 2.5 plz help me ..

Image transfer problem iphone

Hi,
I am trying to develop an iHpone app which captures image from a camera and sends over wifi to another ihpone. Everything seems to work fine but after wrting the image to the outputstream, at the receving end the data seems to arrive in several chunks. Like, I am using the NSStreamEvent to trigger the code to receive the data and build the image but before the complete image is received HasBytesAvailable event triggers several time and there is no way to detect when the data transfer is complete for one one file. Can anyone help me what I am missing out. I am new to iHpone development and can't figure this out.

Canon utilities image transfer utility has stopped working

My Win7 Pro 64-bit computer give me the mesage, "Canon utilities image transfer utility has stopped working". It appears I need this utility to automatically download pics from the CANON iMAGE GATEWAY. The message comes with the following details. Can you help me get this working? I have CameraWindow installed and it works.

I called Canon support. Did email support, too. Both suggested uninstall/reinstall, which was no help. Other than that they had no clue. Phone support thought it might be blocked by Norton Security Suite. I turned off the firewall and AV protection and Image Transfer Utility (ITU) still won't start. Still looking. Will post back here if I find a solution.

Photo Transfer Problem From Minox Dcc M3 to Ipod via Camera Connector

I have a minox Dcc M3 digital camera,and i recently purchased a 5th generation ipod with the intention of downloading images from my minox camera direct to the ipod, so that i could delete the images from my camera and carry on taking more pictures without having to carry my laptop around with me, The camera only has a 32mb built in flash memory and will not download direct to the ipod via an ipod camera connector,I have tried other cameras that only have built in flash memory and none of them will download direct to the ipod, Has anyone out there come across this problem before,according to apple the ipod supports the following image transfer protocols:- PTP
Type 4 (or Normal)and Mass Storage.Could anyone tell me if there is any firmware update for the ipod or camera that would make the ipod compatible with the cameras flash memory and allow me to download my images to my ipod.

I don`t think there is an option to turn on or off any transfer protocols,on connecting the camera to windows xp it connects staight away and viewing/downloading photos is no problem,it works the same as my other camera no problem.I have followed apples procedure of connecting (ie:-turn on ipod/connect camera connector/turn on camera and connect usb cable) the camera then shuts off immediately,i can turn it on again but all i get from the ipod is the message "ready to connect".It seems to me that the ipod does not even know the camera is connected?,looks like maybe this camera is not compatible with ipod,but i cannot help but think that other camera makes with built in memory would suffer from the problem.

Try uninstall all Adobe software from the PC before installing CS 5.5, then reinstall them back again after you installed CS 5.5.

Image Transfer doesn't recognize Android phone

I tried to use Image Transfer to get the photos off my Moto G phone but IT doesn't recognize a device is hooked up via USB. I could do it using Android
Transfer Protocols but of course it's not as good as IT as you have to choose which photos you want so it can take forever.
Any suggestions?

6270 Image Download Problems

With my Nokia 6270, whenever I use the Store Images option in Nokia PC Suite, it always keeps downloading the same pictures from my Nokia mobile onto my computer (i.e. not just the new ones, but the old ones as well so that I keep getting duplicate copies of the old images). I have tried changing the settings, etc. but it seems like it keeps identifying old images on my mobile as new ones and keeps transferring them to my computer.
Any way to solve this problem?

Yes, it is quite possible. The phones ship with a certain version of Nokia PC Suite, but the newest one is always available at www.nokia.com/pcsuite.
I have learned through this forum that sometimes even the country sites of Nokia may still have an older version available, but the global site always has the newest one.

As i see, there is a TFTP timeout on session from Prime.
I've seen topics related to this, but I have not found an acceptable solution. Tell me, is there any way to solve this problem?

Problems with Pc suite & X6

Few days ago i bought Nokia X6 and after updating maps and software of the mobile - I got a problem with Nokia Ovi Suite and Multimedia Transfer in ''USB connection mode''. It shows like I've got full memory and i can't nor export/import in those modes (but at first time connect to PC with Nokia Ovi suite - it showed correct memory). Throught Ovi Suite - I can't Sync(those sync in PrtScr was made before), transfer music... but i can Update, Reinstall Device software and backup mobile (at least i think it is doing it).

And after those updates my mobile phone gets restarted at no reason.
P.S I can't transfer music Throught Ovi Suite, but I cant do it at least in 2nd option in ''USB connection mode'' - mass storage
P.S.S my PC is with windows 7 64bit... I also tried in Windows XP 32bit to install Ovi Suite - same problem - shows full memory.

Hmm, you say that the phone is restarting regularly? The phone shouldn't be doing that. Maybe once or twice in 6 months for a smart phone would be acceptable but not restarting on a regular basis. I note in your first post you say, "Few days ago i bought Nokia X6 and after updating maps and software of the mobile -". When you say that you updated software I presume the phone gave you a list of applications that could be updated and that you updated that list of apps?
Have you also tried updating the firmware of the phone? You may possibly have the latest firmware installed anyway. If you type *#0000# at the homescreen using the phone dialler the phone will tell you what version you are running. The latest for the X6 (assuming you don't have a network branded handset) is V21.0.004. Note the phone will refer to firmware as 'software version'.
You could try an update if your phone has an older version installed, I doubt it will be too old if your phone has been purchased recently. If you want to try an update then type *#0000# as before then choose: Options > Check for updates.
Or install Nokia's software updater on to a Windows PC and follow that.
You haven't installed any third party applications have you? Sometimes an incompatible application can cause strange behaviour like a phone restarting.
Finally you could try to reset the handset to see if this cures the restarting problem. I don't normally recommend this but in your case it may well help. You will want to back up your contacts and calendar before performing the reset.
To reset the phone:
Remove the battery and re-insert it... Simultaneously press and hold the GREEN call key, RED end call key and the Camera-capture key. Whilist still pressing those three keys press the power On/Off key to switch on and keep holding the 3 keys down until phone fully starts. If the phone has reset then it should ask for location, date and time data like it did when you first got it.
After the hard reset just use the phone for a couple of days without installing any other 3rd party software, if after a couple of days the freshly reset phone is still regularly restarting itself then I would say you have a hardware problem and you need to take the phone to a Nokia Care Centre.

Problem Installing Developer Suite on WIndows Vista

Hi! i'm a student of computer science, and i need to install developer suite for a proyect i need to do for one of my classes.
I have a problem installing developer suit on Windows Vista. After i download and unzip both disk, i run the setup from the installer folder and i get an alert that says: "abnormal termination. There's been an internal error. Send the following files to the Oracle Suport Services: Unknown, Unknow, Unknow". I've also tryed with the setup from the main folder and i get the same alert. I don't know what to do, i've tryed setting the compatibility mode to windows XP, runnig as administrator, changing the performance configuration of my computer and nothing. Please help me to install the program!

Simply start a new catalog:
File >> New Catalog
Choose a new name and save.
When the empty catalog launches you are ready to start over.

My iMac 27" Late 2012 has Image Persistence Problem

I'm wondering what to do about an annoying image persistence problem on my 27" late 2012 iMac. I got the iMac just a few days ago. Monday actually, so 4 days ago.
It's the 3.4GHz i7, 8GB, NVIDIA 680MX 1TB fusion drive model.
Overall it has become the love of my life, but the image persistence thing is getting harder to ignore. This happens after only a few minutes of use. If I follow Apple's instruction on dealing with LCD image persistence, I can make it go away for a while, but it comes back very quickly.
It is extremely noticeable on a plan dark background. It looks as thought he screen has been left on for a very long time with the same windows open, but it occurrs in less than 5 minutes of use with nothing more intense than a bit of web surfing.
I've read that this is happening a great deal on these new iMacs, particularly teh 27" machines.
While the problem seems to be known to those of us afflicted I don't know if Apple has acknowledged an issue or not.

I can make the ghost image vanish by bringing up an all white scree for a minute or so or using LCD Scrub.
I'm wondering if anyone else has foun a solution other than asking for a replacement computer, which Apple seems to be granting on this issue?
