Image wouldn't sync to iPod as it could not be displayed. Why is this?

When I tried to sync my iPod Touch (2nd gen) it said that a certain image could not be synced as it could not be displayed by the iPod. I already have many pictures synced of the same file type so I can't understand why it won't sync this one.
Any help would be much appreciated.
