Imagent access issue on login
recently changed my keychain login password and everything is working except I get this error "imagent needs to access keychain" and prompts me for password which needs to be my OLD password for it to go ahead. How do I reset the imagent password to my NEW one?
To preclude that behavior whenever you change you account password, you need to reset the Keychain password to match. Keychain Access.aop in /Utilities.

How do I fix Mountain Lion issue after login where Keychain Access attempts to open, hanging up with "application not responding" message?
You could try booting into Safe Mode to see if that will help. And "Repair Permissions" in Disk Utility.
Have you got Keychain set to open on Login or is it attempting to open on it's own. -
ESS IView access to ERP - login page displayed and not access possible
Hello Colleagues,
we have to setup Employee Self-Service (ESS) Portal as well ERP.
All required steps seems to be performed but we still facing one access issue.
If I try to enter the Link My Employees under SAP Portal > Employess Self-Service > Travel and Expenses it get an web login (ITS) from the ERP system and not direct access to the service. In addition I am not able to login with defined user an password.
If I try the to enter the service directly (test service) at transaction SICF on the ERP (ECC) System itself it works fine as well with defined user and password.
If both IE Browser Windows are open, then I am able to see the service (empty table) unter My Employees at portal after click again under Link SAP Portal > Employess Self-Service > Travel and Expenses > My Employees.
So I think the general connectivity works fine but some thing still wrong with maybe IView access/permissions/roles?
Any Ideas?
Many thanks in advance!
Regards,
JochenThis means that your Single sign on is not working correctly.
Things to check:
1. From Portal System Administration - for the system object created for connecting to the backend system - try to perform the connection tests and make sure they pass.
2. Access your portal with a Fully Qualified Domain Name (for example: myportal..mysubdomain.mydomain:port/irj/portal instead of just myportal:port/irj/portal) - this should most likely resolve your issue - since you see the error only for WD4A applications.
3. Make sure that the host name you have configured in the portal system and the host name with which you access your portal are in the same domain.
Also, check the SSO related profile parameters in the backend system:
login/accept_sso2_ticket=1
login/accept_sso2_ticket=0
login/password_change_for_SSO=0

Limit access to Apex login page
Hi,
We are deploying an application to our users. I need to limit access to Apex login page f?p=4550 to some predefined Ip adresses. Any ideas on this?
Best regards,
Onur.How exactly the APEX engine forces a '404' to be returned, I am not entirely sure. Perhaps it sends back the Response with the Header Status set to 404 ?Yes, with this process on the login page.
begin
if not #OWNER#.wwv_flow_security.ip_check then
#OWNER#.wwv_flow.g_unrecoverable_error := true;
sys.owa_util.status_line(404, 'Page Not Found');
sys.owa_util.http_header_close;
end if;

How to access Sap portal login user in ejb web service
Hi,
I wnt to access SAP Portal login user in my ejb application which resides on the same server.
I am using following code
try {
IUser user =null; IWDClientUser wdUser = WDClientUser.getCurrentUser();
user = wdUser.getSAPUser();
} catch (WDUMException e) {
// TODO Auto-generated catch block
e.printStackTrace();
Some additional jar files are required for this?
The same code works fine with webDynpro but not with ejb.
Thanks in advance
Best regards,
NileshThanks for reply.
I have already added com.sap.security.api in my EJB module project classpath. How to add the same in EJB application Project (application-j2ee-engine.xml)?

Financial reporting 11 1 2 2 Access issue for a user
Hi All,
I have a report designer group for Financial reporting 11.1.2.2. I have created a group called FR_GROUP in HSS and provide them the report designer access and added three MSAD users.
Now as admin we have a created a folder in workspace called FR and gave the group FR_GROUP Full acces to this folder FR.
Now the issue is the MSAD user who created the repot in FR folder can see the reports and open them and also the admin user but the other two MSAD users cant see the reports.
Any ideas how to fix this access issue?
Thanks,Hi,
Try provisioning the FR_GROUP with Explorer role. Just in case here is the whole list of Reporting and Analysis Roles:

Image quality issues in PS - word to PDF
Hi,
I am having major image quality issues when trying to make my word document a clean, clear PDF. Images become distorted. Borders for tables and text that are equal px size look like they are different sizes throughout the document.
I have searched the internet, read help, and tried many different things:
Word 2007 - Changed image %, image size, export options, adjusted px for borders, used different styles
Acrobat 9 Pro - Changed import settings, import options, print options, tried press quality, high quality, etc.
Photoshop CS4 - Changed ppx, file format, compression options
What can I do to get a clean, clear PDF file with the images and borders preserved?
Thank you.In converting a MS Office file to PDF, Photoshop cannot help in any way and will likely cause more harm as it may rasterize vector data. Expect your ideal answer in the Acrobat forum.

More Image/stylesheet issues
Hello again,
Just wondering if anyone could give me some quick style sheet issues, have an img class that looks a little something like this:
img {
border: 5px solid #adadad ! important ;
padding: 5px ! important ;
margin: 4px, 4px, 4px, 4px ! important ;
-moz-border-radius: 15px;
-webkit-border-radius: 15px;
border-radius: 15px;
Which works like magic for getting me a nice curved border in most modern browsers.
Now there are one or two small icon type images that I need to not have a border as they are actually within the text - can anyone think of a way of setting up RH9 so that I can have an image that doesn't follow these styles?
I am sure it will be to do with over riding these styles but not sure how to do this because it is not like I am selecting a style for the image files - they are just getting their styles from the img selector...
Anyone got any suggestions?
much 'preciated.Hi Willam
I'm a bit confused by what you suggested. You seem to be implying that this won't work and the image paths will break. But I've not found this to be the case. I just tested by creating an image and later creating some nested subfolders and using the variable in topics in each of the subfolders. I then generated WebHelp and viewed and I had no broken images at all. RoboHelp was able to manage the relative pathing to the image without issue.
Have you noticed otherwise?
I'm a believe in erring on the side of caution, but it would seem that (for me anyway) the worry is unfounded.
Cheers... Rick

Image reloading Issue - Imagefix
Hi all,
I have requirement like a grid component with images (Thumbnails).I have used the code of from javafx site(Thumnails.fx etc)

When i deleting selected image from the grid i am create the object of imagegrid for updated list of images.The problem i am facing after 3 o4 continious sequences the images were not displaying on grid.Every time insert/deleting on image grid functionality i am creating image grid object even though problem still exist.
//Code is like
def image :ImageFix =getImage();
function getImage():ImageFix{
if(url.endsWith(".pdf")){
url=url.replaceAll(".pdf","001.png");
var pdfThumbnai:File=new File(url);
if(not pdfThumbnai.exists()){
ImageFix{
backgroundLoading:true
preserveRatio:true
height:100
width:100
url:"{__DIR__}images/pdf-file-logo-icon.jpg";
//applicationContext.pdfThumbnail;
else{
ImageFix {
height:100
width:100
backgroundLoading:true
preserveRatio:true
url:"file:///{url}"
else ImageFix{

preserveRatio:true
height:100
width:100
url:url
// the image variable setting imageView for following variable
def imageView : ImageView = ImageView {
smooth: false
cache: true
image: image
cursor:Cursor.HAND
fitHeight:100
fitWidth:100
onMouseClicked: function(evt : MouseEvent) : Void
println("count value in Image Grid is {count}");
var id:Integer;
if(evt.clickCount >= 2)
applicationContextDMS.indexOfImg=count;
println("fileVectorObj {fileVectorObj}");
showOCRScreen(count,folderID,fileVectorObj);
if(evt.clickCount==1)
applicationContextDMS.indexOfImg=count;
selectImage(this);
// Scale the thumbnail up when the mouse enters.
onMouseEntered: function(evt: MouseEvent) : Void
gr.visible=true;
onMouseExited: function( e: MouseEvent ):Void {
gr.visible=false;
Please help out resolve this issuse.
Thanks in advanceThe only work around that I found was to rename the image file. Once renaming occurred, the image file when updated was rendered correctly. I have read an earlier bug report that claimed this was fixed. I do not believe it to be so. If anyone has any additional information please present it.

OBIEE 10.1.3.4 access issues on Open SUSE Linux
Hey guys,
I am new to OBI EE and i am trying to get this working on open SUSE platform. I got lucky and finished installation and ran the following scripts
# run-sa.sh start
# run-saw.sh start
# run-sch.sh start
The first 2 scripts went fine but I had problems fixing the Scheduler services. It gives the following error:
[nQSError: 67042] The Scheduler Configuration is incorrect.
[nQSError: 67004] Registry value for SchedulerScriptPath not set.
I am not sure what to do. I am also unable to access the Presentation(Dashboards) page. What do I do to access the OBI login page. Any suggestions are extremely appreciated.
ThanksI am also unable to access the Presentation(Dashboards) page. What do I do to access the OBI login page. Any suggestions are extremely appreciated.Have started your OC4J instance? By default OBIEE installs a OC4J instance where the Analytics.war Web App will run. This is the Presentation Services plug-in that you use to access the BI Server via the Web (Answers, Dashboards, etc), so that's the login page you are looking for. On a default installation that OC4J instance runs on port 9704, so you could try going to http://your_server_name:9704/analytics to see if you can see the login page.

Hi guys,
Please take a look at the following access issue and let me know if you have come accross it.
Two dimensions
Account
Dept
Account
- Rev1
- Rev2
Dept
-Ops
-Sales
The desired access setup looks like this.
User1
For Rev1 - For Ops - Write ------and----- For Rev1 - For Sales - Read
For Rev2 - For Ops - Read ------and----- For Rev2 - For Sales - Write
I tried but could not set up the access as required.
If I set up User1 with Write for Rev1 then it gets overridden by the Read later.
Any ideas if this access setup can be achieved or if there is workaround this issue? Thanks.

Accessibility issues in dynamic PDF
Hi,
When a PDF is rendered as a dynamic form, we are having issues such as tables not being read by JAWS on screen reader.
Similarly check box values updated using javascript are not being recognized by the screen reader. Even though the value is updated by the script as 'checked', JAWS still reads it as 'unchecked'.
Note: Accessibility issues such as these seem to go away when the form is static. But we require the form to be dynamic.
We are using JAWS version 10.0 and Reader 9.0
Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks.
Regards,
VidyaI'd be interested to see how this gets resolved. I was fooling around with JAWS a little bit back and found that JAWS has trouble with multiple subforms (i.e. complex tables and subforms within subforms with tables, etc.)
