Images are like browned

I am sorry ihave not got many technical terms to tell it however since i start to try editing images Photoshop cs4 on a windows7 64bit installed with samsung lcd, it is not always i think but i see the images are browned in photoshop like a bit burned images. I am not sure because of samsung lcd monitor or photoshop but i never seen a problem like that nor heard.
I do not have similar problem in any software too

It sounds as if you need to calibrate your monitor because Photoshop is colour managed and, if the monitor profile is wrong, you will get this effect.

How to delete background image areas like in ps

I have a jersey layout which consists of front, back, left arm, right arm and shoulders. Each are can be individually selected in AI. I can change colors, strokes add images pretty much anything except what i can do in ps. In ps i can have the background as a specific layer. Then select the areas of the jersey then invert and delete the remaining portion of the background from the background layer. I CANT FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO IT IN AI cs6. I appreciate any and all feedback, suggestions, links to tutorials or flat out instructions on how i can accomplish this task. I have to do this in AI because there are certain images and backgrounds i need to image trace to blow up to size of jersey. I make it work by importing after editing as much as possible in PS.
The magic wand in PS i can select specific area of jersey, magic wand in AI will grab each point after I have image traced it. Hope you guys can help.

The mere purpose of image tracing if im not correct is to allow the transforming of an object to be larger without losing clarity.
What I have done to "correct this" and I realize its not exactly what was looking for but serves the purpose nonetheless, ive found 2 different steps to achieving the final look.
1st way: creating a false background.. did all the work and had another top layer that appeared to be the background but infact is the foreground
2nd way: i just deleted anything outside the individual section with the eraser.
together it worked out perfectly. im still not entirely convinced there isnt a way to do it but have wasted way too much time looking and searching.

I save my images to my hard drive then pull them into lightroom. Now when I do this my images are changing- they look like I've added a preset but all I have done is imported them. Can anyone help me with this?

My images are changing once I import them into lightroom. Initially they look the same as BOC then it changes image by image as if it is adding a preset. I am not aware of any changes I have made to the program.

To move an iPhoto Library to a new machine:
Link the two Macs together: there are several ways to do this: Wireless Network,Firewire Target Disk Mode, Ethernet, or even just copy the Library to an external HD and then on to the new machine...
But however you do choose to link the two machines...
Simply copy the iPhoto Library from the Pictures Folder on the old Machine to the Pictures Folder on the new Machine.
Then hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library'
and select the Library that you moved. That's it.
This moves photos, events, albums, books, keywords, slideshows and everything else.
Your first option didn't work because you imported one Library to another. Every version and thumbnail is imported like a distinct photo, you lose all your Albums, Keywords etc., the link between Original and Previews is destroyed, the non-destructive editing feature is ruined and so on. In summary: it's mess.
Your second option didn't work because you simply referenced her library on the old machine.

Sounds like you may need to repair the Disk Permissions on your drive where your images are stored.

Images are not showing up

My presentation is like a slideshow and the images are all
loaded in my library and draged and drop onto the stage, which they
all can be viewed just fine. All are jpeg and relatively the same
file size, nothing really differant about them, but when I preview
or publish the presentation, 3-4 images are not visible. A couple
of them just don't show up but one image disappears when I go to
another frame and come back to it. Example: I view image01, its
veiwed fine, I go to image02 and its fine, I go to image03 its
fine, I go back to image02 and it doesn't show up!
I don't understand why its happening since there is no
actionscript on the image or anything else done to it that I can
see. Its just an image. Anybody else had this problem and know what
I shoud do?

Flash hijacking HTML links while images are loading

I've designed a slide show player using Flash and Actionscript 3.0 which loads several external images. While the images are loading, the HTML links on my page (outside of the Flash movie) don't work. As soon as all the images are loaded, the links start working again. It seems like the Flash player is hijacking the browser while the images are loading which can take the better part of a minute depending on my connection speed. I can click an HTML link once during the loading time and as soon as the images have loaded, the browser loads the new page (the one the HTML links to). Once all the images are in my Temporary Internet Files folder, this problem ceases to exist (since the images no longer need to be downloaded). It's only first-time viewers that will have this problem, but it's a pretty major problem.

Click the Images button after the "Loading..." animation disappears but before all the images are loaded. As the images load the thumbnails at the bottom of the Flash player go from 50% to 100% opaque. If you click the "Images" button before all the thumbnails are 100% opaque, nothing happens. However, once they are all loaded and the thumbnails are all 100% opaque, the "Images" page loads. You can do the same thing with any of the subpages in the Images section of the site and get the same results.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You might try using CSS rollovers instead of MM (javascript) rollovers. Straight HTML links load fast and work immediately.

All the imported images are gone

I've made an animation in Adope Edge Animate with a lot of images imported from the same directory folder as the animation.
But the next time i had started up the animation, all the images are gone. The animation is saying they are still there, like in the elements and the timeline section, but doesn't show them.
Does anyone know the problem? Maybe you have to show the directory folder of the images again or something?

Is the images folder in the composition folder present?
If you delete it your images are lost and do not show up .
If that folder is present ,can you PM/post your animate files.I can have a look.

I see by your post that the images are blurred. I would like to help you.
Run a calibration on the printer.
On the printer touch the wrench, system setup, print quality, color calibration calibrate now.
Print a Diagnostics Page to see if you have the same results. Trying to determine if it is a hardware or software issue.
Go to Setup, Reports, arrow down and select Diagnostics Report.
I have provided a document with more steps for running a cleaning and checking print driver settings.
Troubleshooting Print Quality Issues.
Remove the toner and check to see if there is any toner on drum.
Make sure the paper type is selected to the media that you are using, not the default setting unspecified.
Please provide the following information so I can assist you better.
What were the results of Diagnostics Page and Print Quality Page?
Are you using Genuine HP Toner?
What are the Ink levels?
Was there any damage on the toners?

Thumbnail images are very poor, is there a way to improve them ?

I've just started using Lightroom 5, and right after importing them I noticed the images are of very poor quality. If I try and blow them up bigger using the slider they get even worse.
I've used Bridge in Photoshop to do this before and the images look great, so I can quickly look at them and sort the good from the bad.
I can't do this in Lightroom with the quality of the image thumbnails. So how do you make the thumbnails better?
Also does the camera MP size determine what the thumbnails look like? In other words If I used an 8MP camera, would the thumbnails look as good as they would coming from a 20MP camera?

And what type of previews are you creating during import (in the Build Previews section of the File Handling panel of the import dialog)?

Color - Shine - background column of panels, contour line of tools and image area in Camera RAW

Is there any way to change - obscure - the brightness of the column trim panels and the outline of the image area in Camera Raw?.
In ACR 8.4 can change the brightness of the background image area - as in Ps - but can not find how to do the rest, and the truth is that it is a problem, since the image is darker than actual because of the brightness of the surrounding areas. Ideally there would be neutral gray .....
If you see an image in Bridge, having selected dark backgrounds for both the preview area and the various windows - thumbnails , metadata, folders , etc. - , as if we see in Ps with the same type of configuration (something Ps presents with dark background both in the area of image and layered windows , settings , menus, tools, etc ....) , we will see the picture clearer than in ACR , ie , if we develop a RAW file in ACR, especially if you have dark areas - eg night photographs - , end up leaving it more clear what is right, because of the contrast - glare - with the brightness of the area surrounding the image window , but I can not check until we go to Photoshop or return to Bridge.
So .... Is there any way to write the ACR window looking like Bridge or Photoshop ?. Is there a way to darken those areas (as there is in Bridge or Photoshop)?
If not, is something that developers should think about going ACR implemented with an update .....
(Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question ..... If not, I pray you tell me where to)

It took a long time to bring a dark UI to Photoshop & Bridge...sparked in part by Lightroom's dark UI. But, dealing with custom UI in plug-ins is a slightly different problem...I would like to see a dark UI as well. But it boils down to feature triage...given X number of engineer hours per version, what features are top most in the must haves...the elves on ACR are always working on new things. Hopefully a UI revamp (not just dark UI but also configurable panels and some other niceties) will rise to the top of the list.
One advantage of the new CC subscription model is that new features don't have to wait till some arbitrary major version number. New things can get added as they get done. Hopefully this will free up the ACR engineers to do some cool new things, sooner rather than later!

I am not sure what's happening with IE9 (no live site) but I had real problems viewing your code in Live View - until I removed the HTML comment marked below. Basically your site was viewable in Design View but as soon a I hit Live view, it disappeared - much like IE9. See if removing the comment solves your issue.

It looks like all the picture i am taking with the camera are stored in the memory card, moreover the gallery is not showing any of them. Does anyone know how to make the pictures appear in the gallery again.

You don't say which phone you have, but as you posted in E-series then I assume you have somethign in that range.
This being the case, your gallery is not a folder, it has a database which finds images wherever they are on the phone. Go to the phone's File Manager and check in the Images folder on your memory card - you should see a folder with the year and month as its name (eg: 200904), which has another subfolder inside - your pictures taken during that month will be in there. Now you know that your images are at least safely stored.
There is nothing that I know of that I can safely recommend you do about the database file as it is hidden from view; but make a backup of your phone (contacts, messages etc.) using PC Suite, thenreformat the phone using *#7370# - this will reset everything to defaults and wipe everything (hence the backup), but the dataase will also be wiped and recreated next time you open gallery.

Why aren't my FW (PNG) image are not showing up

Hey guys.
This is really bugging the hell out of me. I feel like I
can't move on until i can figure out why my PNG images are not
showing up in preview (F12). They did yesterday before I deleted
some pages and renamed old pages I no longer needed.
All my images that was done in FW are in my root folder in
the file panel. i didn't move any of those. When I double click on
the image to bring up the "select image source" in the URL it
starts off with two periods then a slash and then the name of where
it's located as well as the name of the image. The "relative to":
is site root. i didn't change any of these setting before I deleted
and renamed pages in my file panel.
Oh, and my Ap Divs show up in light gray boxes.
Please help!
