Images are scrambled, glitching showing up in bits in the scrollbar

Having a lot of problems with images, when I go from one window to the other pictures will have scrambled with each other. Sometimes an image will scramble itself just by dragging the cursor over it
Other things that happen are on youtube when I open the page a lot of the thumbnails will be the same and on the wrong video and when I go over it with my cursor they'll change to the right one.
Another thing is sometimes the images will be in my scroll bar and toolbars all scrambled up.
I've already reset firefox, deleted cookies, cleared cache, updated flash and java.
This all seems to have started when firefox updated for me which was about two days go.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

I am not sure what's happening with IE9 (no live site) but I had real problems viewing your code in Live View - until I removed the HTML comment marked below. Basically your site was viewable in Design View but as soon a I hit Live view, it disappeared - much like IE9. See if removing the comment solves your issue.

  • Linked images in a table showing visted and messing with the the whole table

    Help Please.
I have never had this happen in any other version of dreamweaver.  Using dreamweaver CC right now.
I have an image created in photoshop. cut into slices. load the html and images into dreamweaver.  Dreamweaver then creates a table.  If i upload just like that, site looks fine.  Once I choose an image slice, create a link to it and then upload the site, there is a purple border around the image therefore wrecking my whole table.  The site shows breaks between each image slice.
    THank you

The only real advice I can give, that will help you in the long run, would be to take some time to learn at least the basics of html and css. Photoshop's way of doing things will almost always blow your site to pieces as soon as you start changing content around. To create professional websites with DW, you are expected to understand HTML and CSS (and to a lesser degree, javascript). Without a firm understanding of HTML and CSS though, little issues like the IE border problem can become huge problems.
There are tons of places online to get tutorials on all of this, I personally like the following links, for the basics...
    HTML: http://w3schools.com/html
    CSS: http://w3schools.com/css
Once you understand what's going on behind the scenes in DW, it's much easier to work with the program. Once you understand how to work with the code the program gives you, Photoshop can be left to do the work it was designed for, image manipulation.

  • Just submitted a podcast to i-tunes, when users are dowloaded it, images are only appering for a few seconds not the entire length of the relvant chapter.

Built in garage band with artwork and chapters - saved as an podcast and set live to i-tunes (and checked in quicktime) but once downloaded images only appear for a few seconds.

I subscribed to your podcast and downloaded episode 20 (in iTunes): it plays perfectly normally and the images appear as you would expect. I also dragged it out to the Desktop and opened it in the Quicktime Player and again everything was normal.
The problem you do have is that you have not entered a duration for this and a few other episodes, so that the default 1 second is there. As a result when you play the episode in the Store page (as opposed to subscribing) it only plays the first second.
As to the problem you describe, I can't explain it - there's nothing wrong with the file, so it must be a local issue with your iTunes.

  • Why are some jpg images scrambled when they appear in my screen saver?   The same images look fine in Preview and Finder.  Some images appear scrambled in the screen saver 'preview' window and the actual screen saver. Other jpg images look fine.

Why are some jpg images scrambled when they appear in my screen saver?   The same images look fine in Preview and Finder.  Some images appear scrambled in the screen saver 'preview' window and the actual screen saver. Other jpg images look fine.

The desktop image is fine, taken from the exact same pool of jpg photos.  However, as soon as the slide show screen saver comes on, the images are scrambled.  What is it about the apple screen saver algorithm that scrambles the pics?

  • After upgrade older texted images are not showing up

After Upgrading to ios8.1 all of my older text message images are no longer showing up.  My recent text message images show up but all of the older ones just show a weird icon and when I click on them nothing happens.  It looks like a broken link type issue.   It's really frustrating.   Anyone else having this issue?  The image below can be seen by going into any text message and then click on details.  if you scroll down you'll see all the images and videos that have been sent in that text thread.
    See attachment.

called apple care regarding the issue....after restores and reinstalling iOS 8.1 from backup the problem was still there...they believe this could be caused by a bad backup but I find it interesting that several people have had "bad backups"?

  • Errors in Export to PDF for web use - some images are lost when PDF is enlarged & in browser

I have a multi-page PDF in InDesign CS6 that I want to export to view on the web. I need the file to stay under 2MB, and I need it to be crisp and nice enough to read the type on the page (as small as 9pt type).
The errors that are occurring are the following:
On some browsers, some images will entirely not show up. Some of the missing images have been pasted into the document, some placed. I cannot think of a correlation.
When the PDF is enlarged (Adobe Acrobat X 10.1.10) to more than ~200%, there is one placed image that will mostly disappear. What I mean by "mostly" is that little bits of it are still visible, like I masked it carelessly or something. Since this is only occurring with one image it seems that it would be a problem with the image itself, yes? I'm all ears if I'm making a mistake. It is a placed .ai file with no link errors. Should I not be placing directly from illustrator? It renders wonderfully from 100% all the way up to 188%, and then if you enlarge by margins of 1% little bits of it disappear, almost a chunk at a time.
The way I've been exporting is:
File > Export > Adobe PDF (Print)
Adobe PDF Preset: Smallest File Size
    Standard: None
    Compatinility: Acrobat 6 (PDF 1.5)
Options: Optimize for Fast Web View
Export Layers: Visible & Printable Layers
    Compression
I always change the downsampling from [100/150] to [150/225]. I usually leave the JPG image quality low. I leave both bottom boxes checked (compress text and line art, crop image data to frames)
    Output
    Color Conversion: convert to destination
    Destination: sRGB 1EC61966-2.1
Profile Inclusion Policy: Include Destination Profile
However, after reading a few other forum questions I started trying to export as Acrobat 4 so that it would flatten. When I do that, problem #2 still persists although I didn't test problem #1. I haven't tried using Distiller, and using the "prepare for web publishing" action within Acrobat itself makes the PDF too artifacted.
At the heart of my question is this: I am a young designer at an old company that is not necessarily keeping up with the times. I REALLY want to know what the best, most efficient way to export a pdf for web viewing is. Does this exist in InDesign, outside of InDesign? Does it exist at all? Tell me what I'm doing wrong so that I can get better!
    Thank you in advance.

Show Large Images is a preference inside of Acrobat which might be disabled.

  • Images are not loading/not loading completely, persona previews no longer works with scrollover - even after complete uninstall/reinstall, but images work in IE - suggestions on how to fix this??

Images on websites often do not load or load incorrectly/incompletely load even after refreshing page and clearing caches. Often have to "clear recent history" 5 or 6 times within a single firefox session to get working links, images, completely loaded pages. The persona previews no longer do an "automatic preview" with a scroll over and now i no longer even get an image on the page to scroll over (images are just NOT THERE). I have done the safe mode test, have updated everything suggested, have checked all add ons as suggested in the troubleshooting guide and NOTHING shows as being a problem. I even did a complete uninstall and reinstall and it is STILL not working. Worried that it was an issue with my computer, i checked the pages in IE, and they worked PERFECTLY. I am uncertain what to do now. It started as a problem once or twice a week, and now it is EVERY time i bring up Firefox. Help?

the second article did offer a suggestion that SEEMS to have helped ::crosses fingers:: - an about:config, resetting of the preferences for images. we'll see how long it lasts. THANK YOU SO MUCH for the suggestion, the article wasn't one i'd found while searching for troubleshooting info.
Java script is enabled, but the persona's stuff still isn't working. dang it. WELL, one thing seems to work now, at least. thank you.

  • Use of Image Area element with a database

    Hello,
I have a database with a field containing an url to a graphic file.
I'd want to create a form which displays this image in an image area element.
I don't success in doing it. Does somebody knows how to do it ? With or without Javascript ?
Thanks in advance for your help
    Philippe

So, after further investigation, Static Images are behaving as they should. After setting the href the first time it can't be changed. It should be possible, however, to change the href of an Image Field as many times as you want, but it doesn't work currently in 7.0.5 or 7.0.7. This is known problem. Unfortunately I don't see any workaround possible for the time being if you need to change the image in a field multiple times. (I suppose you could have multiple image objects, one for each image, and hide/show them dynamically based on which should be shown at the time).

  • CS6 InDesign - Default display is high-quality. Four placed images are Illustrator files. Three images look the way they should - high-quality. One image looks pixelated. Why?

InDesign CS6 - Default display is high-quality. All four placed images are Illustrator files. Three images look the way they should - high-quality. One image looks pixelated. Why?

Not sure if this will help, but what is your inDesign file's "Transparency Blend Space" set to? It's under the edit menu.
Also, when you are placing your images, are you selecting "Show Import Options" and making any selections there?

  • Images are like browned

I am sorry ihave not got many technical terms to tell it however since i start to try editing images Photoshop cs4 on a windows7 64bit installed with samsung lcd, it is not always i think but i see the images are browned in photoshop like a bit burned images. I am not sure because of samsung lcd monitor or photoshop but i never seen a problem like that nor heard.
I do not have similar problem in any software too

It sounds as if you need to calibrate your monitor because Photoshop is colour managed and, if the monitor profile is wrong, you will get this effect.
Try this free software: http://www.calibrize.com/ and read the Colour Management Primer at http://www.calibrize.com/primer1.html.

  • Images are not reflecting in Multi Level Menu

    Hi,
i am facing some problem in the Multi Level Menu.
i have created a book in my portal application.
For the "Main Page Book" i am setting "Multi Level Menu"
For the Book with in the menu, i am setting "No Navigation"(to avoid the sub pages displaying when clicking the book)
for example the Book name is "Home".
i want to replace the Home with some images.
using "selected image" i have placed some .gif
when i have checked at run time that image is not reflected.
when i keep the menu as "Single level menu" images are coming. (but drop down is not coming)
the problem is when i put the menu as "multi level menu" the images are not reflected.
pls help me to solve this issue.
    regards.

    Hi,
we've got the same issue in the project I'm working on. We told thos to BEA and they said that this is not coded. So 2 BEA's consultants are working on it for us. May be it will be included in the next version of WLP...

  • Runtime Images are being loaded only when i move Mouse Over them

    Hi ,
I am displaying Images on to a Datagrid at Runtime .
The isssue is that Images are being loaded when i move mouse over the rows of DataGrid
Please tell me , how to resolve this issue ??
    Thanks .

If you know the size of the images, have the renderer return measuredWidth
and measuredHeight that reflects the size of the image (or approximate
size).  There should be past discussions on this topic.

  • 'Minimum Image Area' as PNG Sequence

    Hi.
I don't know if this problem has been addressed before - I
did do some Googling but found nothing.
I am using Flash 8, and I want to export all frames of the
movie as a series of numbered PNG files. It is important that I use
PNG files because I need the alpha channel. I also want the files
to use the Minimum Image Area option - not necessarily taking the
    minimum area for each
particular frame, but for it to take the largest area and
use that as the size for all images.
However, all this does it just use the full document's
dimensions. I have checked each frame to see if I had something on
the edge of the screen by accident, but this is not the case.
BUT: If i choose Minimum Image Area for just
one frame ("Export Image") as a PNG file, it correctly takes
the smallest image area. Is Flash not capable of taking the minimum
image area for an whole set of frames?
There is one obvious solution I can think of, which is to use
"Edit Multiple Frames" and select every frame of the movie at the
same time, then set the document's dimensions to fit it. I will do
this if there is no other option or no way to fix this, but I just
wanted to know if anybody else knew of this problem and what they
    could say about it.
[EDIT]: I asked a friend of mine to try doing the same thing
on Flash CS3, and exactly the same happened. I think I may have
stumbled across an actual bug here. I feel special :D

Yeah, that seems the most apparent solution. I mean, it's not
a big problem, I just find it weird that minimum image area has no
effect whatsoever when exporting the movie as a sequence instead of
    an image.

  • All of a sudden, background images are poor quality in distilled PDF

Exporting through XMPie to Postscript, all images in PDF are bad when distilled back to PDF. Any ideas?

Well let's see. High Quality Print, Press Quality, FieryOptimized, Standard, and don't know what else.
Yes they looked good before. The art is .ai vector. I tried a couple different formats. Just noticed I have had two jobs in a row doing this.
Preferences Page Display: smooth line art, smooth images are both checked.
Hmm. Exporting from the InDesign page to PDF produces a good PDF. Exporting (spooling) with XMPie and then distilling produces a bad PDF. I'll have to start digging when I get a few minutes. Could be an XMPie question if I get the same results with different distiller settings.
