Images Change Colors between monitors while the UI stays the same

Hey! Im having an issue where photoshop changes the colors when I move the window between my monitors, seen here: http://sta.sh/04y5s60vf3j This isnt due to the monitors themselves being different, it actually changes after a few seconds of moving it inbetween the monitors. The left one has been callibrated with a spyder 3 elite which I no longer have access to. I applied the file with windows color management instead of the spyder utility. The second one is new, and it is not callibrated by anything, but instead was done by hand with the built in brightness/contrast/custom RGB settings. Both of them are very close to eachother, enough so for my tastes. but when photoshop changes what the image looks like, it's causing problems. Interestingly enough, when I disable callibration for the monitor on the left, the image does not change colors between monitors, but instead always appears as it does on the right. but then they don't match up and the whole screen looked washed out because it's uncallibrated, so that doesnt do me any good. Another interesting thing to point out, is when this image is saved as a .JPG, and viewed with firefox the image appears exactly like the monitor on the LEFT (which is my main monitor) despite the left monitor being the one that is force changed. does anyone have any suggestions? It also appears that windows photoviewer is behaving the same way, though firefox does not. Meaning when I open an image in all 3 on the left monitor, they look the same, but when opened on the right monitor, windows photo viewer and photoshop both display the image as brighter and redder than firefox does. This is frustrating, because it seems photoshop is changing the image with my callibration on my left monitor to match what it looks like on the web, which it does. but it doesn't do this for the right monitor, or when the left is uncallibrated. Another issue I can see with this is even if the UI is the same shade of gray, the images are different between the monitors because of this change. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Alright! So I reread through all this, poked at some things on the internet, and I'm going to attempt to summarize what would be a good solution for all this (And it seems, it still won't be perfect, but to get myself into the best environment I can for not messing with images for an hour trying to make them look nice before I post them to the web. I painted something yesterday on the cintiq, popped it over to my laptop screen and it just looked washed out and terrible.)
1. Get a X-rite EODIS3 i1 Display Pro, Callibrate laptop and cintiq. I do have the money to drop on something like this, especially if it's a time saver.
     Things I'm not sure about:
          a. There was a ton of complaints about the software not working when I checked reviews, but also a ton that said everything was great. most of them were mac users though.
          b. I'm not sure if problems would still be posed, even while calibrated, by me having a wide gamut monitor.
          c. I'm a terrible excuse for a human being and I think the colors showing up brighter on the wide gamut screen is pretty (I should just make my images this bright on a normal screen and there won't be any issues. >.>)
2. Set Firefox to color manage (easy enough)
3. Change my photoshop working space to sRGB (since they'll have been calibrated at this point)

Accept the fact that most of the people who look at my work will be doing so on a monitor that is almost certainly uncalibrated, and I can't control what they will see on my screen, but I CAN control if the colors are -actually- what I want them to be on any properly calibrated device. which is probably the best way to go anyways.
4. Make paintings, have fun.
Now, you two have been going on about all sorts of interesting things in here, and it seems that calibration issue run much much deeper than I ever thought. Do either of you have recommendations for how I should tweak this list of things to do or other things I can/ should do? I'm not currently a working professional, but if I have anything to say about it, I will be within a few years (I'm going to school for illustration and studying concept design on my own time) so it'd be useful for me to get into good habits now.

Glad you seem to have sorted things out.
The warning about the warranty is light hearted, I think at one stage it warned "here be dragons" but also intended to make us think as it warns that making changes may produce problems.

I might add that all the files are aliases. There are 40 altogether and I am aware I could create 10 sub-folders so I only have 4 aliases in each subfolder which would mean I only have to rearrange 4 aliases each time but this is still not ideal. I have been using Macs since the 1980's and up to now files have always stayed where you put them unless you selected Arrange By in the Finder View Menu.

Heard that the screen was going to be smaller in the future. Lots of low vision people use the ipad to make it thru the day. Hope the screen stays the same for their sake.

Don't believe all the rumors you read. Rumors that purport that Apple will release a model of iPad with a smaller screen have been around for a couple of years, and so far have not come to pass, though of course that's no guarantee for the future. I strongly doubt that Apple would abandon the current screen size even if they were to release another iPad model with a smaller screen.

HOW TO CHANGE COLOR ON LITTLE SUB TITLE BAR UNDER THE HEADING?

I was successfully able to change the background color on the templates headed, but that little bar under it, that displays the links to your other pages within the site did not change with it, and I have tried everything but have not been successful. How do I do this?

Those navbar links are generated by javascript and are not user editable. You can create your own navbar using a Text Based Navbar and then have complete control over font (stick with the Web Safe Fonts), color, size and rollover colors.
Cyclosaurus has posted an HTML snippet that can change the font style of the navbar of each page that the snippet is applied to. Home Screen Image changes "Color Theme" after software update

Pearl 8130 - Default Theme (Verizon)
I had an image set as the background for the home screen. Updated the software and now after setting the image as the home screen, the Theme changes to all Black around the picture.
1. Anyone know a fix?
2. Is it possible to create your own theme?

Color and style settings won't stay the same.....

I'm trying to get my type to stay the same color and style each time I start a new email to send to someone. I can set it each time I start a new message, but I want it to stay the same automatically when I open it up. Is that possible to do in mail?

I have had this problem.
It seems that iChat is more sensitive to small breaks in the network link. Web Browsers and Mail just don't show them as they make new connections each time they download mail or change pages.
If wireless try it wired for elimination purposes.
Check the time any DHCP server renews the leases.

How can I make a copy of a song, change the album cover of the copy, but have the original stay the same?

So, this is going to take some time to explain, but I'm going to try it.
I'm trying to build a compilation playlist with songs from other albums. I want to change the name of the album in the info of the song and the cover for the new playlist. When I do this, the original copy changes as well. I don't want this to happen. Is it possible to avoid this?

Frankly I would just make your album a playlist and live with the original album names in the individual items.
If you really want to name them individually you will have to make copies of the files and add them a second time to iTunes. One easy way to do this is drag the tracks you want to a different drive (it could just be a flash drive). It will make copies of the files on that other drive. Now drag them back to an empty playlist window. That way you will be able to keep them separate from the original track until you can rename them. In dragging back to iTunes it will put a copy in the iTunes folders so you will end up with two copies of the files, the second one for editing.

The catch is that when Cell A gets down to 1, and i change it to 5 again, Cell B will be on 4 and start incresing from that point on when cell A decreses. This is to show an amount of sales within a company when stock is sold.
Example:

B = 0
A = 2
B = 1

B = 2
A = 3
B = 2

Can't be done, in a single cell, for the reasons given by Jerry.
But not difficult in a column:
I've moved the columns one to the right to put them in the body cells of the default Numbers table.
Current stock is listed in column B, with results of increases and decreases entered manually. Any increase is assumed to be a restocking, and does not affect the sales to date figure in column C. Any decrease in stock is regarded as a sale and increases the current total in column C by the amount of the decrease.
Until an entry is made in B, the corresponding cell in B will show a hyphen. This can be changed by changing the text between the quotation marks in the formula.
Enter the formula into C3 and Fill it down the rest of column C.

Hello, I don't post much. But I have a question that's bugging me. I want to create an animation and have the background stay. How do I do this? I have tried locking the object and puting it on its own layer, but it doesn't work. Animating in AI is new to me.

How, exactly, are you "animating"?
If you are exporting Layers to SWF Frames, the export dialog provides a field in which you can select a specific Layer to serve as a static image. See online Help.

If you have the HP 2605dn printer attached to the 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBSn) (or any router) by Ethernet, then the AEBSn is NOT performing as a Print Server. Instead, the printer itself would have to be configured to provide this service.
I don't have this particular printer, but I do have a network-ready HP Officejet model that I have my network clients (Macs, PCs, & even Linux) connect to. The key is either using the unit's interfact panel to configure the appropriate network settings specific for your network.

How to change colors in 2 different shapes one at the time?

I have 4 different groups. Every group has 4 different shapes/colors. If i change Group 1 Shape 1 color then I want that Shape 2 in Group 2 color would be automatically same as Shape 1 in Group 1. Is it possible?

That can be done in Illustrator, if vector-based artwork is a possible alternative.
Have a look at the concept of a "global color" in Illustrator.
This concept does not have a direct counterpart in Photoshop. Indexed colour mode comes close—but an image in indexed colour mode can't have layers.
