Images corrupted in application package.

Hi All,
I am using .png images in my application. After building the application. It creates myfirst.app ... if I right click it in finder and select "Show package Content" .. it shows list of resources. If I try to open the images (.png) ... some of those images are corrupted. But it the app works fine on the device .. and the images displayed are just fine.
Why does it show's corrupted in package? I am trying to upload it to the app store. I get following message ..
"The binary you uploaded was invalid. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with an Apple submission certificate."
can it be the same image issue?
thanks.
Kiran

yes .. there was an option in the project settings which was compressing the images automatically .. I unchecked it .. and few changes in the project settings ... it worked ..
thanks for the reply ..
Kiran

    Hopefully this thread, or this KB article might help.
    It seems like this could come from a lot of things, but there's suggestions in those which might lead you in the right direction

  • How can I get an ucropped image in a Custom Package when using Stroke and/or Border??

    How can I get a picture in a Custom Package that has a Stroke and/or a border and get the image shown fully, and not cropped in one way or other?
    When I add the stroke/border it adds them inside the cell, thereby altering the ratio of the area for the picture inside it, which crops it in some way. How can I get the image to be uncropped?  The controls available seem to all be for the ration of the outside of the cell, but my image is inside the stroke/border and nothing seems to work on it directly ...
    Many thanks,
    Gary

    Perhaps I misunderstood your requirement.  I have been frustrated by LR print module and labs effectively squeezing individual shots into existing frames. So I have used LR2Mogrify to export (and then re-import) a 'new image' which manages the discrepancy between a crop and a cell of a different aspect ratio by adding padding - usually 'white' - around the image to a canvas corresponding to cell dimensions. Adding stroke borders can be accomplished in Mogrify inside or outside the image.  A custom package, with multiple cell dimensions can be populated with images created in the corresponding aspect ratio(s) for the relevant cells.
    I'm not aware of a way of automating the creation of cells in a page to dimensions which change with the crop as discovered  - drag and drop images onto a blank page creates cells of the same standard size.

  • Image Corruption in ACR/Bridge CS 6:

    Shooting 1D mk lV, all image shot in RAW; Mac Pro Dual Core Xeon, ATI Radeon HD 5770. Downloads are via card reader.
    Bridge/ACR will randomly take the first image I open and corrupt it. It could be per set of images or just the first image of the day. This is usually not a problem as my first images are usually just test/set up shots. This morning it screwed me royally.
    I edited a shoot last night and put my highlight images into a separate folder. I then did ACR corrections and ran a batch for logo'd sample images and sent them to the client.
    This morning I start up my computer and open the highlight image folder, select the 5 highlights, click on 'open in camera raw' and they pop up and after 2 seconds the first image corrupts.
    I have tried copying the image to other drives as well as to my Mac Pro laptop and it does the same thing every time. Purging cache for selection doesn't work.
    Copying the original in finder to another drive doesn't work (this has worked in the past).
    This has happened in the past and I did find a fix of deleting a certain file in the adobe library (and it recreates it). I did save the page where I found the fix but haven't been able to find it.
    I have re-created the ACR cache as well as the Bridge caches. After recreating the caches and clicking 'purge cache for selection' it briefly pops back the original and then corrupts again.
    I've tried increasing cache size and various cache options.
    When I view the file in finder, the tiny thumbnail shows the correct image but the preview shows corrupted image.
    If I view the image in Canon's Digital Photo Professional, it pops up for a second normally and then corrupts itself.
    I'm guessing it's a deep cache issue...I have well over a million images that have passed through CS6. I regulary clean my caches but am I missing something somewhere???
    Any suggestions from anyone???

    Doubleclicking on the files in Bridge causes that quicktime or VLC or itunes (depending on the file format) will open that, but bridge does not handle anything?!
    Bridge CC and Bridge CS6 both handle my .mov files from EOS 1Dx and iPhone without any problems. The show in the preview window and can be played with sound in this same window. (MacPro with 10.8.4)
    Purging cache is what it is, it dumps the previous cache of the preview and forces Bridge to create a new one, nothing else is set to default.
    First try a reset of preferences and hold down option key while restarting Bridge and choose reset prefs. then try again.

  • How to  upload and display image using bsp application

    hi
    I  just wants to know that
    1- how to  upload image from BSP page with attachment into sap server .?
    2-how to display image in to BSP page(webpage).
    thanks

    Hello Gupta Prashant,
    Just to upload and display an image, import image in MIME repository. Not only still images but also flash files can also be uploaded in the MIME repository. Once you import the image in it, use normal html code for image call;
    <img src = "file.jpg/gif" width=  height=>
    Besides it, if your requirement is to store the image in the database and fetch it based on specified field-name, then you have to go for BLOBs i.e Binary Large Object, using this you can also store images, videos, pdfs, applications in the database.
    MBLOB - Medium BLOBs store videos and pdfs,
    LBLOB  - Large BLOBs store movie files and applications.
    You have got 2 ways to use it; some databases store BLOB objects into themselves and some store the path of the BLOB object maintained on the FTP server.
    You can also implement it in ABAP;
    read the following link and practice the tutorial;
    [ Use of MIME Types|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_45b/helpdata/en/f1/b4a6c4df3911d18e080000e8a48612/content.htm]
    also check this
    [TYPES - LOB HANDLE|http://help.sap.com/abapdocu/en/ABAPTYPES_LOB_HANDLE.htm]
    And looking at your question, in order to upload an image, you can make use of FILEUPLOAD tag provided by HTMLB.
    Step 1: FILEUPLOAD provides a browse button to choose desired image file.
    Step 2: Store that image in database using BLOBs.
    Step 3: Retrieve the image using normal select query and display it on the screen.
    Hope it helps you,
    Zahack

  • VJO in not defined & image corrupt or truncated,only in FF & also safe mode but ok in private browsing

    VJO not defined & image corrupt or truncated
    I am getting this error when the computer renders some websites. It happens with ebay & on youtube. It shows the text but no pictures or background. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit and Firefox 4.0.1 it also happens in the newest version of FF & in safe mode , I have installed the latest Java runtime with no change ,but interstingly if I turn on "in private browsing" FF runs OK.
    I have run Firefox in safe mode, I have uninstalled completely using the APPS own uninstaller & then cleaned up all the files left behind with a 3rd party uninstaller I have updated Firefox to the newest release & rolled back to v4.0.1,I have disabled all addons & AV & malware apps (just for a minute)I have even tried a system restore. Also the "VJO not defined" only happens with FireFox & not with IE.interestingly FireFox runs fine if I enable "in private browsing"

  • SOAP and Java within an Application Package

    We are doing an integration with Oracle Content Server. We have successfully checked in reports by sending a SOAP with attachments message in the application package PSRF_REPORT_CREATE calling custom Java methods.
    All is well, until we try and receive the SOAP response, in which nothing happens. After we call the checkin.SendMessage (our java method to checkin a report), we use the following generic PeopleCode insert statement just to test if the next line of the code is executing...
    SQLExec("INSERT INTO UCM_CHECKINLOG VALUES (1234, 'test')");
    This does not update our database, and it looks as if it is not even executing. We have also tried logging to a test file, but this fails to run as well. If it is directly after our soap request, why would it not run? Is there something we need to do to tell the system to wait for the response before commencing?
    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Just to make sure I understand the question... You customized the PSRF_REPORT_CREATE.CreateReport PeopleCode by adding some Java (JavaObject, etc). Is checkin your custom Java object with SendMessage being a method of that object? Are you using a Java SOAP client, like Axis2, to communicate with the Oracle Content Server or are you using Integration Broker? Again, just to verify, you are calling a Java method called "SendMessage." You can tell this is executing because you can see changes in your Oracle Content Server. However, as far as you can tell, no statements after that statement are executing. Is this correct?

  • prefer-application-packages and prefer-web-inf-classes not working

    Hi,
    I'm upgrading to Weblogic 10.3.2 an application that was running quite fine in Weblogic 8. But I don't manage to get it working in WL 10. I'm getting a Class Not Found error (javax/xml/stream/XMLStreamWriter) but that class is in one of the jar files of my application: "<war-file>/WEB-INF/lib"
    It seems a class loading problem but I'm using both <prefer-application-packages> and <prefer-web-inf-classes> and it's still not working. This is my weblogic-application.xml:
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
    <weblogic-application>
    <prefer-application-packages>
    <package-name>javax.xml.stream.*</package-name>
    </prefer-application-packages>
    </weblogic-application>
    I'm deploying using an ear file wich contains a war file.

    Hi!
    We have the jar xbean-2.2.0.jar in APP-INF/lib. That one contains the class javax.xml.namespace.NameSpaceContext. I saw that the same class was in another jar as well. I've removed it from the second jar and now it's only in the xbean-2.2.0.jar. But I still get the same error. Maybe there is something wrong in my application.xml? I have all the jars in APP-INF/lib and in <war-file>/WEB-INF/lib

  • JAVA application packaged as an EAR

    we are upgrading our system to Oracle 12i and we have a custom java application that access the Oracle API. As part of this upgrade we have to deploy our JAVA application packaged as an EAR file to OC4J that comes with Oracle EBS. All we need is sequence of steps/ some document that will help us deploy our JAVA application(EAR file) to OC4J server.
    1. Can we create another instance of OC4j in Oracle 12i(12.1.3)?
    2. Will there be any integrity issue if we deploy ear file to Oacore/Forms/OAFM oc4j instance integrated with R12? or Do we need to create a new instance?
    3. I was told by the support engineer that there is no EM console for oc4j integrated with R12, so is there any script provided by oracle to do any ear deployment?

  • DISPLAYING IMAGES IN WEB APPLICATIONS

    When we store images in a column, we are having problems reading and displaying it on web applications.
    can somebody help?
    Thomas

    What version of Oracle do you use? What is the datatype of the column where images are stored? What are you using to read and display the images on web applications? Do you get any errors?

  • Everytime i try to publish my android build to phone gap.. it says No application packages have been built at this time.

    Hello all,
    new to captivate. Registered with phone gap and tried to publish my captivate project to android.
    It says published successfully, from the application and goes to the download link however.. on the page it says
    No application packages have been built at this time.
    This may mean that they are in the process of building, or that the developer has not issued a built yet. Please check back again later"
    Any help with what i am doing wrong would be appreciated.

    I just followed the itunes procedure, and after I restored it. Now it is reading.
    "Set up your iPhone"
    "This computer has previously been synced with an iPhone or another Ios device"
    O set up as a new iPhone
    O Restore from the backup of: ( if gives my all of my choices )

      Last Backed Up:
    But I just did this, and have now done this 6 times.   why does it keep restoring and then asking me to back eveerything up again.

  • Performance effects of writing code in Application Package

    Hi all,
    I just have this strange doubt about the performance of the system if we write the code in "Application Package". Writing code in application package is a good practice as it is good in trems of readability but I am wondering whether performance is effected apart from the advantages of reusability, readability etc.
    I have to create a application class object(Import as well) whenever I need to call a method in the class or any property,during this process the application class object has to be loaded which consumes component buffer which is considerable. So if I am calling in amethod which has say some 20 lines of code in a class of some 1000 odd lines of code. How best is to write that 20 lines of code directly rather than calling a method in the application class.
    Please give your views if my assumptions are wrong.
    Thanks
    Vamsi.

    You ask a good question and you are using a good thought process. It seems that if you write 20 lines of code inline, you will have less memory overhead and less CPU cycles (no construction overhead) than if you write that same 20 lines in an App Class and then create an instance of an object for each row. Is this true? I'm not sure, but using the debugger, etc, it seems logical. It seems logical enough for me to just assume that is the case. Besides performance, however, you have to think about upgrades. If you are modifying a delivered component, then it is usually preferable to write your code outside the delivered code, and then import that code using an App Class or FUNCLIB.
    I think there are some more important questions to answer:
    1. If you have an App Class with 1,000 lines of code and you are only using 20, then why are those 20 lines in the same class as the other 1,000 lines? It seems as though the "big" class with 1,000 lines should use the class that has only 20 (composition), but not be included in the class's code base. Classes should be small. A 1,000 line class is probably too complex and should be broken down anyway. A 1,000 line class may be necessary, but I would take a good look at it and consider refactoring.
    2. If you are iterating over rows and creating an instance for each row, only to execute a method, then perhaps you should consider creating an instance outside the loop and then just execute the method, passing in values, much as you would a Java static method. If you are using a field level event, like RowInit, then this isn't possible. It might be tempting to apply the same approach using component scoped variables, but I cringe at anything other than local scope. I would rather take the minimal performance hit of a small class than use a scope other than local.
    3. If you are only creating an object for the sole purpose of executing a method, then you may be using OOP wrong anyway, and may be better served by a FUNCLIB.
    These are just some thoughts I have. Properly designed App Classes make your PeopleCode easier to write and maintain, but won't add much, if anything to the the number of CPU cycles and memory consumption. In fact, some may argue that the discipline and design afforded by good OOP (composition, TDD, etc) would result in better performing programs.

  • Can I upload images to an application in user mode

    Can I upload images to an application in user mode and make these images available in the server (in the IMAGES folder) -I mean not in Developing mode by openning the application and upload images to shared components-
    I saw the it's done in the Sample Application but I think it's complicated and ........... didn't get it.

    There's the chapter How to Upload and Download Files in an Application in the Advanced Tutorials. Worked for me, but took me some time.

  • Blob in classic report - broken images in translated application

    Hello,
    I have an application containing a classic report with a blob column displayed as inline images. The application's UI is translated and published (from en to de in my case) according to APEX docu. Everything seems to work fine so far but all classic reports with blobs show broken images in the translated application.
    The report query is something like:
    SELECT  IMAGE_NAME,
            CATALOG_MIME,
            CATALOG_FILENAME,
            CATALOG_LAST_UPD,
            ID,
            dbms_lob.getlength(CATALOG_IMAGE) CATALOG_IMAGE
    FROM    IMAGE imgThe images are displayed by using the format mask "IMAGE:....inline" on the CATALOG_IMAGE column and the generated image URLs (<img src="...">) look like this:
    In primary language (App ID 251, working): http://server/pls/apex/apex_util.get_blob?s=724178467531162&a=251&c=6844840372320206&p=5305&k1=288447&k2=&ck=7475F2F4A0CFA99CC137C9F9008CE3F9&rt=CR
    In translated app (App ID 151, broken images): http://server/pls/apex/apex_util.get_blob?s=724178467531162&a=251&c=6844840372320206,151&p=5305&k1=288447&k2=&ck=4576169EC6C9645C83E321610FE4BE6B&rt=CR
    Also by entering the broken image URL directly the server says: "The requested URL /pls/apex/apex_util.get_blob was not found on this server."
    Is this a bug in APEX (using 3.1.2), anyone else encountered this? Is there a solution or workaround?
    Thanks for infos,
    Stefan

    Follow-up by myself:
    I found a workaround for this by using the apex_util.get_blob_file_src function instead of declarative blob support. The code generated by this seems to work also in the translated application.
    Btw, the original problem remains in APEX 3.2, as just tested at apex.oracle.com. I've made a test comparing declarative blob support to apex_util.get_blob_file_src in the sample application in my workspace (SMEINDL), application id 50912, page 3 (products). If anyone is interested, please have a look at it.
