Images dont line up

i have created a page with images on top and bottom on a line creating a border on top and bottom (in the master page they line up) but when i go to the "other pages " they are not lined up in fact, i have two pics then one is out of line then i have two that line up then i have another out of the lineup ..does anyone know why? is it a setting i have not enabled?

well theyre here i can see them in my server
do u think it could b that the image names have capital "C"s while the link to the images might have lowercase "c"s ?

I figured it out
for some reason the links have the 1st letter capped like Home & Company while the actual names of the images are home.png & company.png
& in the previewer i guess it lets that lil change slide while the actual internet it wont T.T
now i have to go n change every link lol
but at least now i know what is going on so thanks

I resolved the "Fatal Internal Error: "image.cpp", line 13192 when trying to insert a cursor to graph", but would like to share to find out if others have seen this and to determine whether this is a bug, or if it's time to redo my PC, or buy a new one..
I have an existing graphs (qt 6) which originally had 2 cursors. This occurred while trying to add the third cursor.
Up until attempting to add the last cursor, the program worked great, and I had been running tests for a while. However, I do recall seeing this problem when creating the original cursors, but not to this extent. Plus I don't remember the original error message from that time.
I needed to add one more cursor to the existing graphs. As soon as I add a new cursor and set it's properties, I get a nasty error message and without warning LV8.2 simply closes itself (well, the only warning was the error message. Tried it 3 times, same result.
Here are the steps:
Shut down the PC, went for a coffee, rebooted the PC. Opened the LV project, opened the VI. Immediately went to the graph properties to add the new cursor by doing the following steps:
Right click graph indicator icon on block diagram.
Select Properties.
Click on cursor tab.
Click on Add
Select Cursor 2 (3rd one, newly created)
Change color
Select cursor as a line
Remove checkmark for "show cursor"
Click OK
I need to do this to 3 other graphs, same steps. And as soon as I get to the step before clicking OK, I get the error message.
I managed to get an additional one done, by immediately saving after each step (yep going in & out of the properties). But I've had this problem before when creating the first two cursors.
Is it a bug? Anyone else seen this? Using LV8.2. And the message is right about LOOSING ALL unsaved work!!!!
Here are more observations:
Tried creating a new one on the second graph. As soon as I clicked on the color, it crashed!

I observed the title bar after making changes to the properties. I noticed that 3 out of 4 times, while changing the properties of the graphs to include the cursor, and saving after each & every step, that there were no stars appearing on the title bar to indicate "unsaved changes". Saving was also much slower than usual. I suspect, the program never got to placing the star before saving occurred. However, I am noting everything.
After creating the cursors, saving was and is normal, and the program runs well..   I have run tests without problems.
Does anyone have a clue at what causes this? Has anyone seen this before?

Hi Donovan,
I can't remember seeing this elsewhere. When I get a chance, I'll create a new (blank) vi with new graphs and will repeat the steps.
I will let you know if I see this in the new vi.

How can I get two hand drawn images to line up?

How can I get these two images to line up? I am stumped.....I have used auto-align, scale, etc.....but I get one side right then other side not aligned.

You are dealing here with a difference in image size between the top and bottom sections and perhaps a difference in verticality.
Consider the bottom units. The left side should shift right and the right side should shift left in order to align.
Your next move would be the adjust the size of one of the layers by using Edit > Transform > Scale. Hold down the Option key to maintain proportion.

Where to upload images on-line for storyboarding? Or what does it take to produce a storyboard from a Adobe Story Plus Script?

Attached images dont show up

Attached images dont show up. One has to select message -> alternate view to preview incoming attachements; if i send attachements to windows or mobile systems they dont show up at all. Is this a snow bug? does anyone know this issue and has a solution ready?

Please create a New User Account, and as that New User launch Mail and try setting up this IMAP email account. See the following if not familiar with adding a new user account (which I am sure you are):

The reason for doing this is to test the Mail app itself and the particular settings in the normal user account, and not to permanently switch to a new user account. Tell me if the behavior continues in that New User Account with Mail and these messages?

HELP! - Things disappear from Indesign files!!! (images, boxes, lines, logos etc)

Things disappear from my indesign files!!!!
Images, boxes, lines logos, other design elemtents will be missing from a page when I open indesign. I restore the same file from time machine yesterday! and all the elements are on the page (it is fine).
The only thing I have done to the file the morning is to copy and paste a line of text from excel on to a different page of the file.
Please help!

I have found another indesign file with the same problem!!!!
Its a text box this time!
Luckily its just a spread with a couple of words saying what needs to go on the spread when I come to design it.

you get this off-line error message, if the originals of your image is on a drive, that is not connected, or if Aperture cannot find the original, because it has been moved or deleted. Sometimes this error may occur, if you resored your Aperture library from a backup and it has not been restored correctly. What happened, before this problem occured?
And what is your Aperture 3 version exactly? Where do you store the original image files? As managed in your Aperture library or on an external drive?
You can fix "Image offlin" errorsby reconnecting the image versions to their originals, if you know, where the original file is. See this manual page:

Items dont line up when published

when i preview my site or publish it, the items dont line up they way they did in design mode...tried grouping them together but that doesnt help.

Images dont show up

Hi im a graphic designer and not really strong in web design so im having a bit of trouble with the site im creating for the company i work for. i created the site off line and created it in Dreamweaver CS3 now as far as I kno all my links are accurate and all the folders are where theyre suppose to be because when i test it in the preview browser it works fine the problem is when i uploaded it to our server & tested it out i noticed that some of the images werent showing up & im not sure why because all the images are in the folders and other images show up while these don't

Error when adding image in-line with text

When using some of my templates I have no problem in putting
a small graphic (a pdf icon) in-line with text. Yet with others the
insertion of the same small graphic forces a newline before and
after the graphic.
If the text and image is placed in an editable region of the
template, but not within a table cell all is ok.
If the text and image is place within a table cell within the
editable region the problem arises. I am sure there is something I
have specified incorrectly but cannot discover what it is.
An example of where it works fine is:

I am using Dreamweaver 8 within Studio 8 and run under

That causes images in table cells to behave as a block tag.
Block tags
force all adjacent content to the next line.

Can you change image to line art?

Can you take an image (photograph of a person for example) and convert it to line art? If so, can you convert the whole picture to a black and white (no shades of gray) line art?

"Line art " can actually mean many things. Do you mean outlining in Black and White? There are some Actions on the Adobe Exchange that will do that or use Find Edges or Graphic Pen or some of the other Filters. There are also plugins you can get like Outliner.
Or you might want to use Adobe Streamline to trace it in vector paths.

Process image: red line and flag --- BPM standalone 10g

In the BPM standalone 10g, I hightlight one instance and click the link of process image.
In the pop window, the flag is in the current activity. However, the red line is still in the first activity.

Thanks for your reply. I set all interactive activities and automatic activities to generate events. The red line can be extended to most activities.
However, the red line cannot be showed between 2 interactive activities. These interactive activities are linked by a business rule transition. And the unditional transition cannot be red color

Black image boundry lines when placing image in Illustrator

I am making a business card in Illustrator 6.
I placed an image of my black signature with transparent background on the white background business card, and now it is leaving a box were that signature image canvas ends. This happens with both a .psd and .pnd files.
Now if I could just go into photoshop and extend the canvas and leave the image the same size that would be great. When I try to do this though there is still the old canvas boundry line.
If I was able to start all over I would have had the original canvas size way wider than the image of my signature that I drew on it. That way it's boundries would now be outside of my business cards boundries and I would not be seeing those black boundry lines.
There must be a simple way of fixing this?

I tried that, but where the instructions say "File > Print, and under Output, choose Composite CMYK" I don't have that option. Otherwise I did the rest and it did not help.
I forgot to say that it only prints what is inside my signatures boundries/canvas dimensions and will not even print to the edge of the Illustrator file.
I would attach the image, but it is too large of a file and whatever other formats I try to save it at it will only save it to the boundries of my signature and not the Illustrator image, artboard or whatever you call it.

How do I send images in-line in text eMails?

Using TB 24.6.0 and sending eMails in text format (not HTML) I am unable to add images (J-pegs) in-line. How do I overcome this problem or it is not actually possible in TB?

Turnpike was a world leader developed in the 1990s and taken over by Demon. Unfortunately Demon managed to loose their programming expertise with the result that they were unable to develop it to keep up with more recent developments. They pulled the plug in the spring of 2013.

Demon recommended TB and Microsoft. Guess I will have to try sending as HTML but many of my customers are strictly plain text only with HTML filtered out - It's a security thing.

Displaying lines or inserting narrow images as lines

Hi
I want to insert lines into my Captivate animations, to
divide up slides into differnet sections. I've actually got to
questions around this:
1. Is it possible to draw lines directly on a Captivate
slide?
2. I couldn't find a way to do draw lines, so I created very
long, narrow (1 pixel wide) image files and inserted them into my
project. However, when I do this, Captivate resizes them - I can
not get them to display at 1 pixel wide, even if I change the size
properties of them after inserting them. This isn't after
publishing the project, this is when I'm still editing it.
Does Captivate have a minimum size (in pixels) for image
files? Can anyone think of a way to display straight, narrow lines
of varying lengths on a Captivate slide?
Hope this makes sense, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi BovisLL and welcome to our community
Hmmm, are you using Captivate 1? I thought Captivate 2
allowed sizing smaller than 10 pixels. At any rate, I'd create the
line on perhaps something 20 pixels wide. Place the one pixel line
in the middle and leave the background a solid color. If you do
this, it should make the line easier to grab onto and move and
resize as needed. The background color should be rendered
transparent.
