Images in my remote file don't seem to be linking
Hi,
I am having problems with my images. They all work and show up fine in my local view, but when I put them onto remote server they are not showing, so something is not linking somewhere. I have tried deleting the files in remote & putting them in again.
Here is my link http://www.denotestationery.com/denote_localroot1/denotehome.html
And I have attached a screenshot of what my files folder looks like in remote view. You can see that most of the image file symbols are blank.
Can anyone tell me where I am going wrong?
Thanks in advance.
While I am limited in knowing what images I should be seeing, I am seeing some images in your site. What pages are missing which images?

[SOLVED]multiply-claimed blocks, files don't seem broken, fsck differs
In this laptop there's a 1TB hdd(mechanical, not SSD) with all kinds of multimedia files. Lots of files that have been added after a certain point in time seem to have a problem, as I found out by running "e2fsck -n /dev/sdX1" on that partition.
It greets me with this sort of output:

Clone multiply-claimed blocks? no
Delete file? no
When I listen/look at those files through mplayer, it doesn't seem to have any problems whatsoever in playing them and I don't hear any glitches. Everything seems to be fine with the files themselves.
Now, before I run "e2fsck -y /dev/sdX1" and lose a lot of precious time reripping music, I was wondering about the chances e2fsck may cause damage. Or whether not fixing (what doesn't seem to be broken) may cause disasters of even greater proportions in the long run.
Please help?

But luckily, the number of directories in question isn't that high, so I'll backup manually and see how things works out. I'll report back here afterwards so future generations will know what to do. -

I am using a Mac, and need to have my profile be on an external drive. I edit the profile.ini file per the instructions I found here:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-tb
but it's not working. I must have the path wrong. Again, I am using a Mac. Here is the info in the profile.ini file:
[General]
StartWithLastProfile=1
[Profile0]
Name=default
IsRelative=0
Path=Macintosh%HD/My%20Passport/Thunderbird/Profiles/o6fqy09d.default
Default=1
Do you see anything about the path that looks incorrect? The "My Passport" is the external drive.
Also, if there was an updated disk image for Portable Thunderbird, I could try setting that up but all I can find is a very old one which I tried but it won't update.
Thank you,
ToddThe "My Passport" external drive must be mounted somewhere in the file system. That's the path you need to use.

M4P files don't seem to work in Imovie HD
I am having trouble using M4P songs I purchased on Itunes in Imovie. They cause the Ken Burns effect to be shaky. I do not have the same problem when I use music I imported from CD's. Has anyone else had this issue?
I guess I was sleepy... it's [11.0.10] not 10.0.10
At any rate, the key path I used mentioned @ http://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/QuickKeys/EnhancedSecurityQuickKeyAll.pd f (for reader 11.x) is
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\11.0\FeatureLockDown]; I noticed they also show up in the equivalent key under Wow6432Node.
I even restarted these PC's after ensuring the registry values were all there - but it was the same situation after reboot.
I don't know how it would matter, but some additional details that may help:
All the values all being applied from the SYSTEM user, as I'm deploying these as a Compliance Baseline from Configuration Manager.
it might be possible that all affected installations were installed with an .mst -
Remote file access doesn't work with Mac and Q10
I'm running the latest BlackBerry Link (version 1.20, build 7) and Mac OS X (version 10.9) software on my Mac Mini computer.
I setup BlackBerry Link for remote file access.
On my Q10 in File Manager I see my Mac computer but for some reason I don't see any folders. It's just a black blank screen. My carrier is Telus.
In link I chose folders to access. It seems like everything is setup properly and I still see only a black blank screen on my Q10.
Any Mac users have this issue?Me too. None of the sync functions/remote file access/wifi sync using BB Link are working for me. I have a Mac (10.8.5) and a BB Z10 (10.2.0.429). I hope BB comes up with a solution soon.

MDM IDOC Mapping: segments don't seem to be grouped properly
Hi! I'm been struggling with implementing MDM 5.5 SP3, where I have successfully extracted IDOCs (materials, vendors, customer) and have been using the mapping tool to map IDOC fields to MDM data structures.
My issue is when I map the IDOC fields to structures, the record segments don't seem to keep their record grouping --as a result, when searching the data in the MDM Data Manager, the tables act independently (the records don't seem to be linked).
I've been able to load the validation tables with the help of the MDM BLOG prior to the data load.
I've also encountered other issues, as the MDM import manager triggers windows errors (stops working) when maps become complex.
I'm using qualified tables; I tried to use the SAP delivered content, but the many required / dependent fields are not available or not maintained in my R/3 source systems. So, I've created my own repositories with only 20 fields (three qualified tables) in hopes to get a working model (so far no luck).
Thank you in advance for any help or comments.
John StrazdinsHi John:
"and have been using the mapping tool to map IDOC fields to MDM data structures."
Yo should be using the import maps already in the standard business content for SP3 (They come as .map files in the SP3 distribution files). This way it works very fine and you don't have to develop anything, just use the standard mappings. It really doesn't matter if you are not using all of the fields, it works fine if they are empty.
"I've also encountered other issues, as the MDM import manager triggers windows errors (stops working) when maps become complex."
I had that problem too. The only workarround I've found was to save the map as soon as you make a join or clone any field, then exit import manager and open it again. -
After upgrading to Mountain Lion, I repurchased Garageband and I can't get passed the complete installation. I've read through several posts that all reference the "com.apple.garageband.plist" solution. I don't seem to have the referenced .plist. Any solutions or suggestions?
Did you upgrade from SnowLeopard?
I can't get passed the complete installation
What exactly is happening? Is GarageBand trying to download over and over again?
all reference the "com.apple.garageband.plist" solution. I don't seem to have the referenced .plist.
The property list stores your preferences, but also the settings from the last run of the application. If that file is corrupted in some way, you might see third behaviour.
You must have this file, for it will be recreated automatically, if it is missing, or you have a permissions problem with your user library.
Perhaps you did look in he wrong place.
in MacOS 10.7. or later the User Library is hidden. To find the Preferences Files use the Finder's "Go" menu:
Quit GarageBand, if it is running.
Click onto you Desktop to bring the Finder forward.
In the Finder Menu press "Go" and hold down the "option/alt" key, until your user library appears in the drop-down menu
Select "Library" and in the Finder window that opens navigate to the "Prederences" folder; move com.apple.garageband.plist to the Desktop.
Log off and on again (don't skip that step!). Retry GarageBand and see if it GarageBand is now downloading the missing content properly.
If that does not fix the problem, post back and explain in more detail what the download problem is.
Why did you "repurchase" GarageBand? If you already owned GarageBand '11, it should be unnecessary.

I've just changed from a PC to a mac and have a large number of downloaded WMA music files which I can't get into i-tunes. When the library was in Windows, i-tunes would convert the files automatically, but this doesn't happen now. I've downloaded a couple of file converters, but these don't seem to work either. Any ideas?
iTunes for Windows (but not iTunes for Mac) can import and convert unprotected WMA tracks. If the tracks are protected by DRM (Digital Rights Management) then it will not accept them.
One option would be to install iTunes on your PC, do the conversion, and then transfer the converted tracks from iTunes on your PC to iTunes on your Mac. -
Can negative B&W image be converted to positive, done this on elements previously by inverting but doesn't seem to work same way in lightroom ?
You should be able to invert in Lightroom. But choose the point curve rather than the region curve. If the negative is film you might get better results from scanning.

I have a new iPod Touch and am trying to download photos for the first time. Both iPhoto & Image Capture recognize the device but don't seem to recognize the photos, or at least I can't import them. Nothing happens when I click on anything in either.
If you manually open iPhoto do you not see the photos?
Maybe here:
iOS: Unable to import photos or device not recognized as a camera
Yu are trying to impoort photos taken by or saved to the iPod, right? If the photos were synced to the iPod then iPhot does not work. -
Some apps I have downloaded don't seem to save music files outside of themselves. I need to save to file of some kind for use in iMivie for example. The catalog in iMovie music only has what came with the download.
Sorry jrock,
You can use iTunes files to load other mp3 players with music files but iPods don't function like other mp3 players. You can't just load mp3's onto an iPod and play them, you have to use iTunes. -
Hi
I have an uploading problem to the server. The problem is when I try to upload a file it goes through the correct proceedure,
but does not change the remote file i.e.Index.htm, or three stages1.htm.
My Localroot folder is C:\Gods Plan Web\
The site map layout is C:\Gods Plan Web\Index.htm
The folder for the remote site is /public_html/
Should the local root folder mirror the remote site, i.e./public_html/
if this is so, what should I put into the
(a) Local Root Folder box?
(b) site map layout box?
The FTP is performing well other than changing the intended file.You should be uploading only the contents of your local root to the public_html folder (remote root).
The index.html you use as your site's home page needs to be in your site root. If you look at your Files window in DW, you should have something like the following...
Site - Whatever you named your site
index.html
images
pages
page1.html
page2.html
If you have any folder between Site - and the index.html page, like...
Site - Whatever you named your site
mywebsite
index.html
It will upload to the public_html while still in that folder, so to find your page online, you would need to type something like...
www.mydomain.com/mywebsite
public_html should NOT appear within your local files and if it existed there, would cause a redundancy if uploaded. You would need to type www.yourdomain.com/public_html to see the uploaded pages.
If you could post a screen shot of your expanded Files window while connected to the server (just connect and click the Expand button in Files, don't drill down into any of the directories), we may be able to see the issue. -
Can't download remote files with Adobe AIR
Hi all,
I have an adobe AIR application that tries to allow the user
to directly download a remote file. Here's the current code:
var fileRef:FileReference = new FileReference();
// Bunch of Event listeners here
var urlReq:URLRequest = new URLRequest("
http://www.randomfilehere.com/hello.txt");
fileRef.download(urlReq);
Now, when I try to download any random file, let's say
http://www.example.com/buca-di-beppo.gif,
I will get a OS-specific download box that asks me where to save
the file; I choose desktop and 'save' yet nothing happens (but when
I trace the HTTP response through Fiddler I get HTTP/1.1 200 OK,
and apparently all data has been successfully transferred to the
host machine, it just is not saved as a file.
A worse problem occurs with getting a file through HTTPS, as
in https://www.example.com/secure-image.gif. Air will try to
initiate approximately 3,940 http requests (plus or minus 3), that
all return 200 OKs, before eventually stalling (and sometimes
getting a 502).
Does anyone have any idea how to resolve these problems? The
AIR application is of course not a browser-based application so I
didn't think the cross-domain.xml would be applicable here (and if
it is, I don't know where to put it). Any help would be
GREATLY appreciated! Thanks very much for your time.Hi,
Take a look at

and see if it helps you. -
How to prevent DW CS3 editing remote files?
I have a site which I built with an earlier DW3.
I have migrated the site to DW CS3 and chosen 'edit local
files then upload' as the option
However, when I try to open a local file for editing, DWCS3
appears to insist on 'getting' the remote file and requires me to
dialogue and answer"Do you wish to overwrite local files" and Do
you wish to get dependant files"
This suggests that despite my choice in the setup, DWCS3 is
deciding to offer the remote files for editing.
Am I missing something I should do?
Thanks.> I have the first option checked.
I wouldn't use that option, nor would I suggest anyone else
use it UNLESS
you are supremely confident in your ability to not make
mistakes.
Otherwise, it's a train wreck waiting to happen.

Which is why you are being prompted to overwrite your local
copy. Are you
the only one working on that site? If so, you do not need, or
even want the
CI/CO option.

Hi All, We have SharePoint 2013 and are setting up a Video Library. The Video Player page is great, but rather than adding documents to this page, and have them go into a folder called "Additional Content" we would like to add an element to the page
